Martial Qi.

A power that can often be heard in martial arts stories.

It is a type of energy that resides in everyone’s body.

Fundantally, it is vitality or it can also be called life energy.

By cultivating our body, we can cultivate our own vitality and strengthen it until it becos powerful enough to beco a "weapon".

That is the Martial Qi.

However, Martial Qi cannot just turn into a weapon. It is a flexible energy that has the properties of life that could be used in various ways.

The idea that suddenly ca to Kyson’s mind is one of the uses of Martial Qi that he saw in the past in entertainnt works.

That is coating the body with Martial Qi.

Theoretically, or at least based on what he saw before, this will serve as a protective layer to separate his body from the other side of the coating.

This will help him walk through the forest full of contaminated trees and other stuff without getting tainted.

With a light in his eyes, Kyson cheered himself on.

"Alright, let’s do this!"

Closing his eyes, Kyson’s first action is to feel the Martial Qi flowing inside his body.

His talent as a Martial Arts Genius manifested and helped him, making it easy for him to feel the Martial Qi.

A swirling mass of gentle energy at the center of his body appeared in his ’sight’ in just a few seconds.

It was the core of his Martial Qi.

Wisp of vitality could be seen escaping from the core and flowing all over his body before coming back to the center.

In that process, the Martial Qi was distributing energy all over his body while also giving strength to it.

After observing it for a while Kyson extended his thoughts like a hand and used it to control his Martial Qi.

Multiple wisp of Martial Qi separated from the core under Kyson’s control and slowly started moving to all corners of his body.

Then, the Martial Qi seeped out of his pores and covered his skin from the outside, from head to toe.

Kyson ticulously controlled the Martial Qi, making sure that no part of his skin is exposed.

As soon as all corners of his body got covered by Martial Qi, a system notification sounded in his ears.

Ding!

[Congratulations, you learned the skill ’Qi Control’!]

[Congratulations, you learned the skill ’Qi Protection’!]

Two consecutive notifications from the system brought Kyson out of his trance.

He opened his eyes and saw the system ssages, imdiately bringing a smile to his face.

"Hahaha, the [Martial Arts Genius] talent is really worthy of being an S-rank!"

Kyson imdiately knew that this is one of the effects of the Martial Arts Genius talent.

For a normal individual, it is hard to learn a skill on your own. That is why the trade of skill scrolls is very popular in the forum.

However, most of the skill scrolls are currently coming from the Adventurer Agency–in other words, the governnt.

Using the points that they’ve gather, adventurers can exchange for a skill scroll through the trading hall.

"I should try doing live streaming this ti." Frey said.

In the past, Frey also entered the live streaming industry because of the woman that scouted him.

There, he learned a couple of things and tricks on how to make an interesting live stream that attracts viewers.

Back then, every livestream was based on the ’manager’s’ ideas.

Because of that, Frey didn’t really get to implent lots of his ideas at that ti.

However, this ti, everything will be done according to his desire.

With his decision made up, Frey imdiately plans to put it into action.

But a knock on the door caused him to stop.

Knock! Knock!

"Oy, Frey, I know you’re there, co out!"

An aggressive voice of a man followed after the knocks.

Hearing that, Frey frowned, "Who is it?"

He stood up and opened the door.

Outside the house, a chubby man with a bald head and crooked nose is standing in front of the door.

When the door opened and the pale Frey ca out, he said, "You finally dared to show yourself."

"I thought you’re planning to hide in that broken house, eh. If you did, then I’ll have no other choice but to force my way in."

Frey stares at the man who looked like a pig that stood in front of him with inquisitive eyes.

In his mind, he said, ’Oh, that’s right. There’s also this pig, Bando, huh. He should be here this ti to ask for the money that I owe him.’

With those thoughts in mind, Frey responded, "Bando, can you wait for a few more days?"

"I’ll pay you all I owe after a few days. Just give more ti."

The bald man, Bando, raised an eyebrow at him and said, "Oh, It’s only been a few days since I last saw you but, you sohow feel like a different person."

What made Bando say such a thing is the newfound maturity that he saw in Frey’s eyes and attitude.

It can’t be helped, if it was the original Frey who faces him now, he would probably act timidly.

But now, the Frey who’s been through a lot of things in life is the one standing in front of Bando.

Frey didn’t pay any heed to Bando’s words and repeated himself.

"Just a few more days, can you wait for a few more days?"

Bando didn’t reply imdiately and observed Frey for a while.

Finally, after a few seconds, he said, "Alright, I’ll give it a few more days. I hope by then, you can pay all of your debts to ."

"Because if not..."

Bando didn’t finish his words, however, the cruel look on his face was enough to convey the ssage that we wanted to co across.

After saying that, Bando looked at Frey one last ti before turning around and walking away.

Frey watched Bando leave before going back inside his house.

Sitting back on his chair, Frey grabbed a pen and paper and started pondering about his course of action.

"Hmm, right now, it is indispensable that I earn my first bucket of gold. I don’t have much ti."

"Live streaming doesn’t seem to be a viable way to get money within a few days."

Tap... tap... tap...

Frey taps his finger on the table while thinking.

Then suddenly, a sharp sound echoed inside his head.

Ding!

Then the next mont, a translucent screen appeared in front of Frey’s eyes, startling him.

"What?!"

Before he even managed to assess the situation, words appeared on the screen.

[Congratulations, you have awakened the innate talent, Book of Achievent!]

Frey was stunned for a second.

In that short ti, information suddenly started rushing inside his brain.

When he ca to, Frey already knew what this translucent screen was in front of him as well as the ’Book of Achievent’.

Frey slowly sat back down and analyzed the information in his head.

"... So, first, an innate talent is sothing that I already have in , in my soul."

"And then, the ’Book of Achievent’ is a talent that was borne through the mixture of my original innate talent and the book-like crystal pendant that I was wearing before."

Saying that, Frey can’t help but feel amazed.

"This feels too much like a fantasy..."

Next, Frey turned his eyes to the screen that was still in front of him.

"This one, a system just like those novels that I’ve read before, was the materialization of my innate talent."

Studying the interface, Frey realized that it actually looks like a book in shape.

Right now, the book looks empty, with no words written in it.

Frey knows that this is because he still hasn’t completed any achievent.

But once he does, it will be written in this book and an accompanying reward will be given to him.

It could be in the form of skills, items, or even money.

Thinking of all this, Frey can’t help but put on a thoughtful look.

After a few seconds, his eyes started shining brightly.

He looked at the screen and said, "This, isn’t this just a real life cheat?!"

"With this, reaching the top of life is no longer just a dream!"

The fire of ambition in Frey’s heart burns wildly.

"This ti, I won’t just end up as a toy for soone like in the past!"

Just as Frey was feeling emotional, a sudden sound echoes.

[Ding!]

[It’s been detected that the host has successfully traveled back to the past.]

[Congratulations, you unlocked the achievent ’Ti Traveler’!

Reward: Luck 100, 100,000 Pesos($2,000), Transcendent Workout Manual.]

(AN: We’re using Philippine peso for currency here)

...

Hearing that he unlocked an achievent, Frey hurriedly took a look.

Frey first saw that the reason he got an achievent was because of the fact that we went back in ti.

Thinking about it, Frey thought that it makes sense.
