As if on cue, an earth shattering roar suddenly ca from deep within the cave.

Kyson’s nose twitched and he frowned.
Suddenly, the madness from before once again surfaced and Kyson provocatively said,
"What the hell did you eat?! Your breath slls so f*cking disgusting!"
However, the being who just roared didn’t react to his words.
"Tsk!"
Kyson clicked his tongue in dissatisfaction.
Just then, the madness in his eyes subsided and Kyson paused.
Suddenly, deep fear arose in his heart.
"This... what the hell is happening with ?"
Kyson can feel it.
His emotions are being suppressed by sothing, only giving rise to the madness, amplifying it.
Gazing at the particles of the miasma floating in the air, his heart tightened.
"I should hurry up and leave this place."
Since his purpose of coming here is the [Goblin Subjugation] mission, Kyson can’t leave empty-handed.
So in a cave filled with miasma, and piles of goblin corpses littering the ground, Kyson worked alone.
He cut-offed the ears and dug the chest of the goblins, pulling out the magic stones hidden in their bodies.

He placed all the ears and magic stones in a bag that was stored at Chicky’s beast space, turned around, and started running.
"I gotta to hurry up. I don’t have much ti."
Feeling the martial qi in his body, it dropped to only a dozen points at this ti.
This ans he can only keep up the Qi Protection for around 12 seconds or less.
With that amount of ti, he needs to leave this cave and escape from the coverage of the miasma.

Looking back at the entrance of the cave full of flowing miasma, he felt creepy and shivered.
"Aish, this godd*mn demonic energy. Where the hell did it even co from?"
Cursing quietly, he looked away from the cave and stood up.
He hasn’t forgotten that inside that cave, there’s probably a more terrifying existence.
The roar from before wasn’t a joke at all. Just from it, Kyson could feel the dominating feeling and the evil power from that being.
"That bastard must have a lot of demonic power..."
Whispering under his breath, he walked away to the side.
He let Chicky go back to his space while he hid himself in a bush.
Just as he got himself in place, he detected movents from nearby.
The bush not far away swayed, as if moved by soone.
However, he wasn’t startled and didn’t show any expression.
A few seconds later, from the sa direction, a small figure erged.
"Cluck cluck!"
It was Cocky.
His wings are outstretched, forming a small bowl in front of him.
Inside it, roughly torn ears of goblins and so magic stones could be seen.
Obviously, this was from the goblins that Kyson ordered him to hunt down.
"Co over here!"
Kyson called him over with a low voice.
Obediently, Cocky moved to his side using his small chicken feets.
Despite being small, Cocky moves pretty fast thanks to his high stat.
So one man and one chicken sat hidden in a bush together.
"Co, pour it all to the ground."
At Kyson’s order, Cocky opened up his wings and dumped everything.

"I should report this to the Adventurer Agency. Maybe they have their own way to resolve this."
After all, this is already outside the scope of what he can handle on his own.
Even the high defense that he has always been proud of is useless in this situation.
Because no matter how good your defense is, it still won’t be able to block the demonic energy.
And long exposure to that kind of energy has dangerous consequences.

Arthur asked, watching the motorcycle disappear in the distance.
"Who knows."
The mage said, also looking in the sa direction.
All of the mbers watched until Kyson vanished from their sight.
On the other hand, Mirai actually looked at Kyson with narrowed eyes.
Then suddenly, it lit up with interest.
"Hmm, how intriguing..."
