Kyson opened the new chicken’s character panel and was surprised.

...

Seeing the Scorching Chicken’s panel, Kyson saw the vast difference compared to Chicky.

However, seeing the level of the Scorching Chicken, Kyson finds it understandable. At the sa ti, he fell into his own thoughts.

"Hmm, because of my unique talent I am capable of successfully taming this scorching chicken despite the wide level difference."

"This is sothing that other beast tar could not do."

For a beast tar, it is a necessary requirent that a monster that you want to ta obeys you. If not, at least it shouldn’t be capable of resisting.

So, for most beast tars, the norm is to beat up the monster until it can’t resist anymore before taming it.

Take note that just because you beat a monster, doesn’t an they will stop resisting.

For a high level monster, they would rather die, than to submit to a lower level beat tar.

So, Kyson’s ability to ta higher level monsters is sothing really unique to him.

Thinking of how big of an advantage this is, Kyson smiled.

Dismissing the panel, Kyson turned his attention back to the scorching chicken.

"Since you’re my tad beast now, it’s just right for to give you a na."

The scorching chicken’s eyes lit up when he heard Kyson’s words. Clearly, it understood human words.

So, it obediently stood there, waiting, while Kyson was thinking hard about what to na it.

"Scorching chicken... scorch... Burned, no, no, no... blazing? That’s too common. Hmm, what’s a good na?"

Kyson’s eyes move up and down, scanning the body of the scorching chicken, trying to co up with an appropriate na for it.

After a while, Kyson stopped and said, "Ah, I know."

With a serious look, he said to the scorching chicken, "From now on, your na will be Roast!"

"Hahaha, isn’t that a good na? Looking at you, I can’t stop thinking about so good traditional roasted chicken. So, Roast it is!"

Hearing the words coming from Kyson, the originally expectant look on the scorching chicken, now known as Roast, was replaced by despair.

It didn’t expect that its new master would na it as such just because of the food.

Really? A roasted chicken? Isn’t that an insult to ?!

Roast has a lot of complaints in its mind to Kyson’s naming sense. But since Kyson is the Chicken Lord, Roast could do nothing but surrender to its fate.

Oblivious to Roast’s emotional fluctuations, Kyson turned his attention to the fire-elent sunflower behind Roast.

Suddenly, a curious thought ca to Kyson and he asked, "Roast, I saw you earlier just standing around the sunflower. Why didn’t you take it and consu it?"

His question snapped Roast back out of his own world.

"Cluck? Cluck Cluck Cluck!"

"Eh? Really? So it’s still not mature, huh..."

Even though Roast can’t speak the human language, Kyson can understand it thanks to the connection between a beast tar and a tad beast.

"Since it’s not yet mature, we can do nothing but wait for now. How much ti will it take until it fully matures?"

"Cluck!"

"10 more minutes, huh. Well, I can just use that ti to rest. After we get this sunflower, we can directly go back to the city."

Saying that, he sat down on the ground and held the two chickens, Chicky and Roast, in his lap, and rested.

Probably because he tad Roast, but Kyson doesn’t feel the scorching heat as much as when he first ca into this cave.

Thanks to that, he can rest easy while they wait for the sunflower to mature.

Ti passed by slowly, and everything seems to be proceeding smoothly.

However, it was then that Kyson noticed a ruckus.

"Huh?"

The earth shook and Kyson felt the vibration of the ground below him.

Pausing for a mont, Kyson observed carefully and noticed that the commotion was coming in the direction of the cave entrance.

Frowning, Kyson said, "It seems that others have also co for the natural treasure."

"Chicky, Roast, let’s go and welco our ’visitors’."

Getting up, he called his two beasts and started walking out of the dungeon.

At the entrance of the cave, monsters started appearing one by one. Each of them exuded a powerful energy from their bodies.

By the ti Kyson got there, roughly 18 monsters were already in place. All of their eyes were fixed at the cave entrance, showing their greedy look for the natural treasure.

Kyson’s sudden appearance, coming from inside the cave, attracted the eyes of all the gathered monsters.

Feeling many gazes focusing on him, Kyson frowned. He felt a bit pressured in this kind of situation.

Because with just one look, he can already see that all of those who’re here are powerful monsters with higher levels than him.

Well, he’s just a level 3 adventurer after all. Almost every creature out there has a higher level than him.

But when Kyson caught the sight of Roast in the corner of his eyes, he gradually cald down.

In the past, Kyson wouldn’t dare confront enemies that are overly powerful than him as long as Chicky’s defense was broken.

That is because even if Chicky can tank the damage temporarily, it doesn’t an that they can cause any sufficient damage to the enemy.

In the long run, they might just end up prolonging their suffering, leading to sothing worse, like death.

But now, with Roast in the party, things have changed. And that simply ans that they now have a ans to cause damage to the enemies.

And not just that, with Roast addition to the party, their combined constitution has already reached 204 points.

With those numbers, it will be hard for others to break Chicky’s defense!

Now, they have an impenetrable defense and also a powerful attack!
