When Zaos woke up, he saw himself staring at an unknown ceiling. When his head finally began to work properly, he imdiately understood that he had ssed up. He was in an unknown room, and he couldn't rember the last thing that happened… so, it was evident that he stayed out cold for quite a while.

Zaos moved his upper body, and when he saw that he lost so weight, not to ntion his body's new scars… once he saw the scars on the chest, he rembered his fight with that weird assassin. He defeated him, but he paid a high price.

Zaos checked his status and confird that his Pain Resistance leveled up and that he also gained Poison Resistance. It was probably because of the assassin as well. He couldn't rember clearly when he obtained it. Regardless, his body felt pretty sluggish, and that was a sign that he had been sleeping for too long… even though he should be feeling a lot better with that much stamina.

Zaos used magic to restore his health, which improved things a little bit, but while he walked, he felt dizzy, and then his stomach started to rumble. He was starving and thirsty… When Zaos opened the door, he saw that Drannor and Aria were about to do the sa.

"Hey, look who is up," Drannor said. "It is , mister, who slept a lot because I am an idiot."

"Bite ," Zaos said. "Where are we?"

"Noemi's mansion," Aria said. "It seems that we were right when we assud that you were about to wake up when you started to snore. Anyway, you shouldn't be walking yet."

"How many days have passed?" Zaos asked.

"… Since you lost consciousness? Ten days," Aria replied since ignoring the question would only make things worse.

"Shit…" Zaos put his right hand into his head and then sighed. "I lost a lot of ti recovering from deep wounds again."

"Well, in fact, most people would have died after having two poisoned swords have pierced their hearts," Drannor said. "Erean said that you survived because of your vitality. I prefer to think that the spirit of death just gave up on you. You are too much of a pain in the ass."

"Take to soplace where I can eat and drink sothing and tell what happened while I was unconscious," Zaos said.

In the end, Drannor and Aria gave Zaos shoulders to lean on because he was zigzagging while walking. Fortunately, he didn't refuse because he could see himself stumbling and then hitting his head on the walls. He couldn't afford to spend any more ti sleeping.

They explained to Zaos what happened in the first five days just before they reached the kitchen and found so maidens there that prepared a quick al for him. After that, while he was eating, they told him what happened after they moved everybody back to their hos.

Things were just a bit dusty in the mansions, so there wasn't much work to be done. Ferdinand and his n took all the money they found and the most valuable things to resell, but that was just a minor value. Most of the people weren't like Orleand, but most of their money still was invested in their business.

After returning to the mansion, Erean worked with Orleand to find so way to obtain Intel when Ferdinand made sure to destroy the only place the ravens could return and when he took all the ships with him. In the end, they decided to use so smugglers. Ferdinand hated those because they were always giving him a lot of headaches since they don't pay taxes, but this ti he welcod them because they gave him accurate information and even had so ships on their side. They agreed to help for a price, but they would never tell where they landed since they didn't use the port.

"We discovered that Ferdinand is trying to raise so influential man aside from the heads of the rchant families to join his side," Drannor explained. "Those people didn't like the family heads because they were more influential, and now they have the chance to rise in life."

"He is also telling them the lie that we attacked Orleand and his family at Noemi's birthday party and that we killed all of the rchant families," Aria said. "By doing so, he is giving them a reason to wage war against our country."

"Shit… son of a bitch," Zaos said, biting his lips in annoyance. "I am going to…"

Before Zaos could finish his sentence, the world turned upside down, and he almost fell. He was so weak that he couldn't even get angry… Regardless, Ferdinand had many ships on Cezar right now, probably the largest fleet, and it was increasing by the day since he was gaining allies. Thanks to that, the reinforcents they had been waiting for the past weeks couldn't approach… Zaos couldn't help but wonder if the news reached his mother. If it had, the worry might worsen her condition.

"Here we go again…" Drannor said. "I know that look in his eyes."

Aria sighed because she recognized too. Zaos was clearly planning to join the fight and made it end as quickly as possible. He didn't even learn the spell that will help his mother, but he certainly won't let an asshole make her sick worried.
