"There was no information about his origins and how he ca to have such power. The books make it sound as if he just appeared one day."
Sol muttered to himself before he released a disappointed sigh. He thought he could use these books to find out more about the Shadow Immortal. Sol had also wanted to boldly deduce who the corpse belonged to.
But if it was really an Immortal Deity then from the fact that they were found inside the dinsion then it might be one of Immortal Dia Shen’s disciples.
"Could it be Immortal Dai Shen himself?"
Sol’s heart stirred when he made such speculation, but he soon shook his head. For so reason, he was doubting the judgnt of this Princess Rina to know for sure whether it was the corpse of an Immortal.
The books also spoke about Transcendent existences who failed to beco an Immortal. Sol would have thought less of them if not for the story Abdu had told him, of how the Alchemy Immortal was surrounded and killed by the Transcendent Realm existences on the Violent Continent.
"It could be the corpse of a transcendent existence that happened to enter the dinsion. As for the other corpses..."
Sol paused here as he didn’t know. The books talked about there being a mountain range border, but it didn’t even ntion the Western Continent. It was as if no one knew about it.
Sol had also wanted to dig up information about the disappearance of the Immortals, but he didn’t find anything.
As Sol closed the book in front of him, he sighed once more. However, at that mont, a knock sounded on the front gate and echoed throughout the manor with the use of Aether Energy.
Sol placed the book into the storage ring and got up to go to the front gate. Woo-Seong was the one who was supposed to do tasks like this, but Sol realized after living with him that he was soone who slept it.
Even now when it was almost noon, he was snoring away in his room.
However, Sol didn’t mind as it seed these past few weeks were the first ti Woo-Seong slept so peacefully.
As Sol moved towards the gate while wondering who the visitor was.
Yoon-Jae was likely handling matters of the Alchemy Pavilion since he was the Alchemy Pavilion Head Disciple. Ushi was probably with him as well. As for Mar-Dule and Byeong-Ho, Mar-Dule should be at the Martial Hall Pagoda, while Byeong-Ho had returned to the Huashan Sect.
Cian had returned to trying to form relationships with the various powers on the Eastern Continent, this ti he aid for the Holy Sects after being ignored by the Great Clans.
"Hm, I can’t think of anyone who would visit at a ti like this."
Sol said before he gave up on trying to figure out the visitor’s identity and instead quickened his steps to see who it was.
Upon reaching the front gate, Sol projected senses out as he went to open it. However, his heat suddenly skipped a beat and his eyes went round when his senses went past the gate.
Sol hurriedly swung the gate open and ca face-to-face with the figure on the other side.
"Mar-Yue, it’s really you!"
Sol couldn’t help but cry out in shock, he was both surprised and excited.
Mar-Yue who was nervously looking begin her, turned around when the gate opened before smiling, causing her eyes to turn into crescent moons. With her deep blue pupils, they really looked like crescent moons.
Without any reservation, the young couple stepped forward and hugged each other.
"What are you doing here? I thought you said you couldn’t return with us because Father-in-law and the Elders wanted to observe your cultivation progress?"
Sol asked as they separated, he was truly too surprised by Mar-Yue’s appearance here.
Mar-Yue blushed a bit when she heard Sol calling her father father-in-law.
"How shaless, we haven’t even married yet.’—Mar-Yue said embarrassingly before she added—"My father and the Elders had only wanted to monitor my progress for a week, after that, I was free to do what I wanted. I wanted to surprise you, so I didn’t say anything. Thankfully, my brother didn’t open his big mouth."
Sol smiled happily as said.
"No, he didn’t, I’m really surprised. Hurry, co in."
Sol said as he held Mar-Yue’s hand and gently pulled her inside. However, at that mont, Mar-Yue hesitated before she said.
"It seems I’ve drawn too much attention to myself."
Hearing this, Sol blinked. He then turned to look outside his gate into the distance and finally realized that a crowd of people had gathered.
Sol was completely taken aback.
"AH! It’s Brother’s Sol’s courtyard!"
A cry of surprise was heard from the crowd.
"So, she actually ca here to visit Brother Sol? Could she be his sister?"
One female disciple asked hesitantly.
"Of course not, don’t you see how intimate they are? They’re likely a couple."
The female disciples seed to be in a daze when they heard that, and they found it hard to accept this outco.
So of the male disciples were also looking at Sol with envious looks.
Mar-Yue was just too beautiful; the mont she entered the Academy she had drawn everyone’s attention.
The disciples gathered here weren’t only the Alchemy Disciples, so of the other Pavilion disciples had spotted Mar-Yue taking a teleportation platform here and followed her.
"Should I have worn a veil?"
Mar-Yue softly asked.
Sol snapped out of his stupor before he turned to Mar-Yue and shook his head.
"It’s fine, you don’t have to wear sothing like that. I don’t mind others seeing how beautiful my woman is."
Mar-Yue was imdiately taken aback by Sol’s bold words. She couldn’t help but blush once again, but she also slapped Sol’s arm and said not to say such things in the future.
Sol didn’t say anything and instead grinned.
Suddenly, a voice was heard from behind.
"Brother Sol, which bastard was it at the gate? They actually woke -"
A topless Woo-Seong walked forward as he yawned and scratched his bare chest, however, his words quickly got stuck in his throat when he saw Mar-Yue standing next to Sol.
His droopy eyes opened wide while his mouth slightly hung open.
He was completely stunned.
Mar-Yue looked at this fellow who had just called her a bastard with a curious look. She was sizing up. She saw so clues that suggested he cultivated his Fleshly Body, and her hand couldn’t help but twitch.
Suddenly, Woo-Seong felt a sense of dread wash over him for so reason. He couldn’t help but shiver.
"Seong, this is my girlfriend Mar-Yue, Mar-Yue this is Woo-Seong. He’s a friend that’s been staying with recently."
Sol smiled as introduced the two.
