"It must be the food."

Cheong-Su said.

They weren’t worried about being overheard as Formations were placed over the rooms of the Inn to prevent snooping. But they also bought out the rooms next to them and the one in front of them just to be safe.

"Hup!"

Mar-Dule suddenly jumped up from his seat as if he were waiting for this mont. He rushed towards the door and almost ripped it off the hinges to open it.

At the doorway, the young man from before was seen with a small cart with trays of food on top, while beneath it were a few jugs of wine.

However, sothing was strange with the young man.

He was breathing rather heavily, and his face also looked slightly pale.

However, Mar-Dule didn’t take notice of this since his main focus was on the food and wine.

"Co in!"

Mar-Dule stepped aside so the young man could push the small cart inside.

The young man entered the room, and Mar-Dule flipped over his hand.

"Thank you. Here is sothing for the trouble."

Mar-Dule handed over two mid-grade Aether Stones to the young man. However, the young man didn’t take them.

"Hm?"

Mar-Dule looked away from the food and wine to finally look at the young man fully.

"What, do you want more?"

Mar-Dule was about to take out a few more Aether Stones to give the young man. However, blood suddenly spurted out of the young man’s mouth covering so of the food on the cart.

With a clatter, the young man then fell over and accidentally knocked over the small cart; the food and wine were sent crashing onto the ground.

Sol and the others imdiately got up and rushed over.

"What’s going on?"

Yoon-Jae asked Mar-Dule, who was staring at the young man in shock.

"I was giving him so Aether Stones for delivering our food and wine, but the amount must have offended him enough to make him cough up blood."

Yoon-Jae looked at Mar-Dule with an ugly expression. He imdiately regretted having asked him anything.

"That’s obviously not the case you idiot! Sol-"

"I’m here."

Sol interrupted Yoon-Jae and rushed toward the young man. He placed his hand on his back to heal him.

However, as soon as Sol’s hand touched his back, the young man’s eyes flew open, and strong killing intent erupted from his body.

It caused everyone to instinctively retreat a few steps back.

It felt like they were alone in a forest and suddenly ca face-to-face with a wild beast. They went into fight or flight mood.

The young man weakly tried to get up, but his hands couldn’t support his body and he fell back down.

The killing intent faded away, and everyone looked at each other wondering what just happened.

However, Cheong-San’s eyes suddenly widened, and using his Soul Energy he cried out.

"Wait, Second Brother?!"

Cheong-San rushed toward the young man.

The young man was on his back and he turned to Cheong-San and weakly said.

"F-Fourth Brother, is that you?"

....

...

..

"Second Brother, what happened to you?"

Dae Han was back to his original appearance and was now lying down on the bed.

Sol had healed his internal and external wounds, but he still felt sluggish.

However, Dae Han could finally relax sowhat.

Turning to look at everyone who surrounded him, he sighed and explained what happened to him.

"So what about the Sect’s Founding Treasure, the Celestial Yang Stone? Did you get rid of it?"

A pained expression appeared on Dae Han’s face as he nodded his head.

He then sat up with the help of Cheong-San before saying.

"I had no choice but to abandon it. But make no mistake, I will get both of those stones back from that thieving bitch."

Dae Han gritted his teeth and clenched his fists.

"Second Brother don’t worry about the Yin and Yang Celestial Stones. You should focus on recovering for now."

"I’m okay, thanks to Supre Elder."

Mar-Dule blinked.

Sol smiled awkwardly and said.

"Just call Sol, or Solovin."

Dae Han nodded, agreeing to Sol’s offer faster than the others did. Dae Han then looked around and asked.

"Where are Eldest Brother and Third Brother?"

"Eldest Brother has gone crazy and Third Brother has decided to stay with him."

"Huh?"

Dae Han tilted his head upon hearing Byeong-Ho’s imdiate reply.

Cheong-Su stepped in and said.

"Eldest Brother decided to stay inside the dinsion and Third Brother wanted to accompany him."

Byeong-Ho frowned.

"Why not tell him the full story instead of leaving out the part where Eldest Brother and Third Brother betrayed us."

"Youngest Brother what are you saying? Eldest Brother and Third Brother didn’t betray us."

Cheong-San imdiately scolded Byeong-Ho.

Byeong-Ho folded his hands.

"You’re both still in denial."

"Wait, wait, just tell what happened inside the dinsion first."

Dae Han said holding up his hand.

Cheong-Su stepped up to do the explaining.

After he was finished Dae Han was silent for a mont before he said.

"He’s just as stubborn as he was back when we first spoke to each other. You both have that in common."

Dae Han looked at a Byeong-Ho.

"He betrayed us."

Dae Han shook his head.

"He just doesn’t want us to follow him anymore."

"Because he’s gone crazy. He killed the Elders of the Academy and because of that, we’re trapped inside Pearl City. If it wasn’t for him we wouldn’t be worrying about being discovered by the Academy or the Holy Sects and Clans. I might be Byeong-Ho, the number one genius in Jianghu, but even the Huashan Sect wouldn’t go against the other Holy Sects and Clans for ."

Dae Han looked at Byeong-Ho and said.

"Youngest Brother, since I ca here I’m putting all of you at risk of being caught by the Six Holy Sects and Five Great Clans. Should I live so your identity won’t be revealed? I’ll try and escape the City, but if I’m caught then I won’t ntion you or anyone else. I’ll take all the responsibility."

Byeong-Ho froze when he heard that, and he lowered before whispering.

"Second Brother that’s not what I ant."

"It’s not? Then why are you mad at Eldest Brother when he was trying to help you? The death of the Elders might have resulted in this situation, but since they’re dead, dead n tell no tales. There’s no telling what those Elders had discovered inside the dinsion that could directly be traced back to all of you. Eldest Brother must have killed them just in case. And the fact that you’re all still here, and the Academy hadn’t captured you an his decision was right."

Mar-Dule and Yoon-Jae suddenly wore thoughtful expressions.

Now that they thought about it that why, it did make sense.

Sol sighed internally. He then retold what happened after everyone left.

Everyone was surprised, especially when Sol ntioned Ji-Hoon’s sealed Innate Dharma.

"Eldest Brother is still Eldest Brother. We’ll be there when he cos out to talk so sense into him."

"Yeah, that’s good and all, but what do we do now? Do we just wait in the City until the Academy decides to let us out?"

Mar-Dule asked as he ate a piece of at he had gotten off the floor.

Yoon-Jae scowled at him, as Sol replied.

"That’s the only thing we can do now. However, I have an idea I want to try to pass the ti."

Looking toward Dae Han, Sol asked.

"Do you still have the last Multidinsional communication jade slip?"

Dae Han nodded.

"What are you thinking Sol?"

Sol turned to Yoon-Jae and smiled.

"I want to get stronger, and I need way more resources than I have now."

"Are you planning on selling the dicinal plants Eldest Brother gave us in the City for a higher price?"

Cheong-Su asked.

Sol nodded once more, but a mischievous grin appeared on his face as he added.

"But not just sell the dicinal plants, I want to open a Loaning Business. We need to spread rumors that the Academy is about to open the City as well. Also, I need financial reports on all the top Sects and Clans in the City."

As Sol listed out these weird demands, everyone looked at him strangely. They got the feeling whatever he was scheming wasn’t sothing ordinary.
