The boy smacked Sol’s hand and sent a kick towards his face.

Sol instinctively dodged, but tears suddenly well up in the boy’s eyes.

"Damn it, I said I’m not a child!"

Sol felt so bad he stopped dodging the boy’s kicks and only covered his head.

The boy stumped on Sol as hard as he could but Sol really didn’t feel a thing.

’So he really doesn’t have a cultivation base. But how is he flying?’

Despite Sol’s actions thus far, his brain was on overti trying to understand the situation he was in.

From the looks of it, the others were still in an illusion.

As for the identity of these two people, he wasn’t sure but he had his guesses.

’For now, I’ll just go along with this situation.’

At this ti the little boy stopped his assault on Sol and retreated with his chest heaving up and down.

"Have you cald down? I said I was sorry."

Sol got up from squatting to brush off the dust that had gotten in his hair from the boy’s shoes.

The boy glared at Sol before snorting and looking away.

"So, can you answer my question? Who are you?"

"Why don’t you figure that out for yourself?"

The boy said, unwilling to answer Sol.

"Well, you don’t seem to be Immortal Dai Shen, and the fluctuations I sense from you are that of flower or a plant. You might be a dicinal herb that gained sentience. And..."

Sol looked at the little girl for the first ti.

"...Are you my Innate Dharma?"

Sol thought this possibility was crazy, but he could sense a familiar connection with this girl.

However, as soon as the girl turned to et his gaze with a placid expression, Sol realized he was wrong.

This girl wasn’t his Innate Dharma. The connection he felt was similar to the one he had between his Innate Dharma, but it was different.

It was a bit confusing.

"You don’t need to know who I am... yet."

The girl turned to look at the boy and then said coldly.

"I don’t care who you chose as your host, but I’ll rip apart your stems and dismantle your roots if you even think about laying a finger on him."

The boy snorted but said nothing.

Sol hearing this thought his conjecture about the boy was correct.

’Hm...’

Sol had a thought suddenly ca to him and he poundered on it for a mont. After making a decision, his eyes gained a dark ghostly glow.

When he glanced at the boy, Sol didn’t see the boy but a red flower floating in the air.

Sothing about this flower was profoundly mysterious. Its leaves had complicated golden patterns on them that shone with a dazzling light. These patterns flowed from the leaves to the stems and then down to the roots.

The tips of the roots were golden in color, adding to the bright red color of the flower, it created a majestic sight.

Sol admired it for a bit before he lessened the output of his Heavenly Eyes.

His vision zood out, and he now saw that this flower was acting like the veins in this boy’s body.

’My Heavenly Eyes are getting stronger. Is it because of my battle with Byeong-Ho? I did use a lot of my bloodline power so maybe that’s why. But I wonder if this only works on him because he’s not human, or can I use this ability on other people?’

Sol would have to check back on that.

However, as he was in his thoughts while staring at the youth. The boy felt his intrusive gaze and shivered. It felt like he was being exposed.

"Fuck, whatever you’re doing cut it out!"

"Ah, I’m sorry."

Sol turned to look at the girl, but his gaze suddenly t the floor as his head was lowered by a strong force.

"What are you trying to do? Don’t you know that it’s inappropriate to be peeking at a girl?"

"Ah! No, no, that wasn’t the case. I apologize."

Sol imdiately deactivated his Heavenly Eyes.

After saying that, the little girl started to turn into specs of light.

Sol raised his head and curiously watched as these specs of light floated towards his Innate Dharma that was hovering above his head.

’Who are you?’

Sol wanted to ask this question but the words never left his mouth. He knew he wouldn’t get an answer.

"You’ll eventually co to know who I am as it’s not that hard to figure out, but to et you’ll have to grow up a little more first. In the anti... Happy fourteenth birthday, Solovin. Your Father would be proud of your progress."

Sol saw the girl lose her placid expression and smile at him.

For so reason, Sol felt like he knew this girl, no, this woman. Her appearance might be that of a small girl but sothing told him it couldn’t be helped.

’I think I’ve heard her voice before.’

Sol thought before saying.

"Thank you, Senior, but my birthday is not until about two weeks from now."

"Brat, you’ve been in here for nearly two weeks. I know because I’ve been waiting so I could possess you."

Sol’s eyes widened when he heard the boy’s words.

"It seems you’ve run into a problem. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to interfere, but I hope you’ll continue looking after my son."

Sol was further shocked, but he finnally knew who this woman was.

But before he could confirm the her identity, her figure fully turned into specs of green light before floating into his Innate Dharma.

Sol retrieved his Innate Dharma before turning towards Yoon-Jae and the others.

"To think they we were here for a week, but it felt like no ti had passed ."

"It might have felt quick, but that’s just the Grand Formation’s doing."

Sol was a bit confused upon hearing that, so he asked for an explanation.

The boy went on to tell Sol that inside the Palace was a separate space and he was in the illusion every since he was teleported inside from the entrance.

The separate dinsion had an increased ti dilation that made it so one hour inside was ten hours outside.

If Sol wasn’t mistaken, he and the others had been in here for a day.

"So it’s really been around two weeks. This isn’t good, the Academy could open the dinsion at any mont!"

Despite Sol’s panic state, the boy was relatively dismissive about his concern.

"You’re friends should be finding their innate talent right about now."

"Ugh!"

"Oh, right as I said that one woke up."

Byeong-Ho groaned as he plopped onto his butt.

"Damn it, why do I feel like shit?"

"Byeong-Ho, are you alright?"

Sol asked as he rushed over.

Before Byeong-Ho could answer, Mar-Dule’s body suddenly shook before he keeled over onto his back.

Right after him was Yoon-Jae, then Cheong-San, and Heon-Tae.

The only two remaining in the illusion were Ji-Hoon and Cheong-Su.
