"Why?"

Ji-Hoon was confused.

"When we first t youngest brother before you guys ca, his Sword Intent wasn’t this strong, but the more he fought the stronger it beca."

"Fifth brother, don’t sit up."

Ji-Hoon said to the injured youth.

Yoon-Jae hearing his words looked at him and then asked surprised.

"Wait, so he’s undergoing enlightennt?!"

He then turned to look at a crazed Byeong-Ho.

"Brother Sol might not want to interrupt youngest brother, I’ll go help him!"

Heon-Tae said this way too eagerly, but before Ji-Hoon could object his figure vanished from his position.

BANG!

Sol sidestepped one more of Byeong-Ho sword strikes, but he was cutting it close each ti.

’This is rather disadvantageous for without a weapon. I can’t really use my bow in this situation, and the point of this isn’t to defeat Brother Byeong-Ho so I can’t use my physical strength either.’

Byeong-Ho raised his sword from the long gash he made on the ground before he charged at Sol. As he did his aura suddenly skyrocketed.

The pink cherry blossom petals around him suddenly began to burst with light while the Sword Intent around his body and sword increased by severalfold.

"Brother Byeong-Ho, you’re almost about to have a breakthrough in your Huashan Sect’s 32 Plum Blossom Sword Play! You’ll be way ahead of if you do!"

Sol said excitedly when he saw signs of a breakthrough in Byeong-Ho’s sword aura.

However, his face that was full of excitent instantly turned to horror when he saw Byeong-Ho charging towards him while wielding his newfound power.

Byeong-Ho’s silver blade was suddenly coated with a faint pink aura as he struck out.

Unlike his previous swings that saw his energy scattering, this one had its energy tightly condensed without a single leakage.

"Amazing! So this is the Huashan Sect 32 Plum Blossom Sword Play!"

Sol couldn’t help but instinctively let out praise at the precision of Byeong-Ho’s control over his strength. As soone proud of his own control, he had to, this was a level a bit higher than his own!

But this made Sol ntally prepare for receiving so sword wounds from this attack.

However, as Byeong-Ho’s sword left a pink trail while slashing through the air towards Sol, Heon-Tae appeared in that mont.

"Brother Sol, let help!"

Bang!

Raging Blade Intent suddenly erupted from Heon-Tae’s body to clash with Byeong-Ho’s Sword Intent.

The Immortal blade now strapped to his side had already lifted its sheath to reveal its jagged and cracked appearance.

As Heon-Tae swung out to et Byeong-Ho’s sword, it looked like it would break in an instant.

But contrary to its looks, when it faced off against Byeong-Ho’s sword it easily received his attack.

The clash between these two Intents resulted in a massive shockwave that caused the ground to be raised.

Both Byeong-Ho and Heon-Tae were forced to retreat, but if one looked closely they would see Heon-Tae’s hand that was holding his blade was trembling slightly. His face was pale as well and his throat moved as he swallowed back the bit of blood that ca up in his mouth.

He was confident in his blade skills, but Byeong-Ho’s strength was slightly jarring.

But Heon-Tae suddenly grinned.

"So my youngest brother is actually the number one genius in Jianghu. I don’t know whether to be happy or angry about this because how else am I going to beat the crap out of you for recklessly entering the Inner Court by yourself?"

Byeong-Ho suddenly released a howl before madly charging towards Heon-Tae.

"FINE CO!! I’ll beat the shit out of you while helping you break through!"

The dust and rubble surrounding Heon-Tae were suddenly swept away by an illusory golden blade that materialized behind him. An overbearing aura then pressed down on the surroundings.

Sol stood off to the side and looked at this illusory blade in fascination.

’It actually a Tier 7 Innate Dharma.’

It might not be comparable to Byeong-Ho’s Tier 8 plum-blossom-sword Innate Dharma, but not many people in this generation had a Tier 7 Innate Dharma.

And Heon-Tae’s Innate Dharma was strange. It had complex carvings on its illusory body that seed incomplete.

What ca to Sol’s mind when he saw this was the Blade Immortal’s Inheritance.

’Wait, is it increasing the grade of his Innate Dharma? The Inheritances can do that?’

Sol was quite shocked. Wasn’t that the sa as increasing one’s innate talent? But seeing that its intricate carving was incomplete, Sol rembered Heon-Tae’s confident claim of being able to defeat Peng Ha-Yun and Peng Han within a month’s ti.

He truly wasn’t lying if the Inheritance was capable of sothing like this.

It was at this mont that Sol realized that the Inheritances he refused to take from the others were rather extraordinary.

No wonder Heon-Tae and the others were worried about him coming on board. He couldn’t imagine anyone passing up Inheritances like these when they were right in front of them.

But if the Inheritances were this overpowered, what about Byeong-Ho?

He was already so talented, would his Innate Dharma beco Tier 9 and increase his talents even further?!

BANG!

Heon-Tae’s Innate Dharma rged with the Immortal blade before he suddenly dashed towards Byeong-Ho and clashed once more.

Sparks flew and their shadows flitted across this demolished battlefield; their Immortal weapons t ti and ti again.

Sol carefully watched Byeong-Ho’s sword that was rged with his Innate Dharma. He didn’t get the sa feeling that he got from Heon-Tae’s blade.

Sol found himself sighing in relief but he felt bad that he did. He just didn’t want Byeong-Ho to get so far ahead without him. As it stood now, his cultivation speed was inadequate.

But he was the one who created his own Aether Absorption Technique after studying his body. He knew his cultivation speed better than anyone, and this was the best he could do.

Though it being the best he could do didn’t equate to it being acceptable.

Sol had collected all those Aether Stones from the Five Great Piggy Banks because he couldn’t rely on reaching the Heaven Arena and receiving cultivation resources from the Academy.

He’d rather go out and buy as many resources as possible. If they get Immortal Shen’s Inheritance then that was another chunk of resources for him to use.

Sol was planning on doing his first isolate cultivation and going all out to open his acupoints.

He just had to resolve a few things first.

Like Little Zeel’s condition, he couldn’t enter seclusion when he was like that.

They’re were a few smaller matters like the Alchemy Pavilion monthly exams, but he decided on doing this for a while now and he’d already planned most of it out.

Sol was determined to do whatever it took to get stronger. Seeing Byeong-Ho’s state made him realize he really needed to step up his ga.

"It’s likely that Brother Byeong-Ho purposely entered the Inner Court to train after getting the Sword Immortal Inheritance."
