"See, I wasn’t lying."

Bong Seon said this with a flushed face before she bit her lips and looked at the youth like she wanted him to do that again.

The youth sighed and then asked.

"Are there any more daggers?"

The youth saw Bong Seon smile and he didn’t have a good feeling about it.

During the next few minutes, moans could be heard coming from behind the boulder that sounded quite sexual.

After so ti the youth pulled away from Bong Seon and sighed once more.

There was only one dagger, Seon had just tricked him into giving her a full body search.

Fed up, the youth went to just form a hand seal to cover her mouth and be done with it.

"Wait!"

Seon yelled before she suddenly raised her loose wrists and grabbed the youth’s shirt. She then pulled him into a kiss but it only lasted a few seconds as the youth pulled away.

"You-"

The youth went to say sothing but paused when he saw Seon biting her lips; she had that sa strange look in her eyes.

It was desire.

Seon suddenly pulled the youth into another kiss and this ti he didn’t pull back.

During this ti moans echoed from behind the boulder, but it wasn’t for the sa reason as last ti.

Around fifteen minutes later, the youth ca walking out from behind the boulder.

However, before he could step away, a hand suddenly poked out from behind while holding a sword.

"You forgot your sword."

"...Thank you."

The youth said after a pause before taking his sword.

"And stay here, don’t let anyone see you."

"Are you coming back?"

"...Yes."

"Alright, I’ll be waiting~"

The youth strapped his sword to his waist before fixing his hair and tying his headband back around his forehead. After patting down his robes he then walked away from the boulder.

This could be said to be the strangest encounter he has ever had.

After walking a few minutes, the youth saw a group of six disciples coming towards him on this path.

It seems like they were just hanging out in this part of the forest after collecting herbs.

"Brother Ji-Hoon!"

When these six disciples saw the youth, they all smiled and greeted him.

Ji-Hoon smiled back and greeted them.

Afterward, these six disciples went back to chatting, not finding Ji-Hoon being here out of the ordinary.

However, one of them suddenly turned to look at him. He then said while still looking at Ji-Hoon.

"Don’t you think that guy’s suspicious?"

The group stopped talking to look at this youth. One of the two girls in the group defended.

"What? Senior Brother Ji-Hoon isn’t suspicious."

"Yeah, it’s Senior Brother Ji-Hoon we’re talking about, not so unknown person."

One of the boys said, reiterating the girl’s sentints.

"I don’t know, he just looks weird being out here by himself."

"You’re just jealous of Brother Ji-Hoon!"

The other girl said.

The boy who was suspicious of Ji-Hoon frowned.

"What are you talking about? What’s there to be jealous of?"

"Wasn’t there a Senior Sister you were aiming for but it was well known she was one of Senior Brother Ji-Hoon’s admirers?"

The boy imdiately huffed.

"Don’t talk about that. What’s so good about that guy anyway? He’s not even that good-looking."

"Senior Brother Ji-Hoon might not be handso like Brother Sol or Brother Yoon-Jae, but in the Alchemy Pavilion, he’s known for his upstanding personality and for helping out his Juniors. Everyone’s sad that he’s a third year and he’s about to leave for the Upper Academy next year. He just has to break into the Spiritual Realm, and he’s very close!"

"Yeah, that’s why we voted for him to beco one of Brother Yoon-Jae’s helpers. We can trust him."

Apparently, those chosen to help Yoon-Jae could walk around freely and openly carry their weapons.

As the group bombarded the jealous youth with praises of Ji-Hoon, the boy had no other choice but to change the topic imdiately.

However, the suspicion was still in his heart.

Especially when he walked past a large boulder and saw footprints leading to and away from it.

Ji-Hoon was careful about leaving behind any tracks, but he was slightly out of it today.

Maybe if it was soone else they wouldn’t find those footprints weird, but because it was soone who rarely didn’t see him favorably, this was a big mistake on his part.

"What’s over there?"

The boy said as he suddenly turned to walk towards the boulder.

The group stopped and turned to look at him.

"What are you doing? We can’t separate!"

The group was forced to follow the boy toward the boulder as well.

....

...

..

Back at the Alchemy Pavilion’s camp, Sol was sitting at a table with reports scattered on it. Across from him was a panicked disciple.

"Please Brother Sol, you have to find my older sister!"

"Brother Yin, don’t worry, we have people searching for her we’ll find her soon."

Despite Sol’s words of assurance, the boy still seed agitated.

"Brother Sol, she left a week ago to pick flowers from the safer region of the forest. There are no Spirit Beasts in that area to harm her so she has no reason to be missing! I-I think a Demonic Disciple could have-"

"No, don’t go speculating sothing like that when everyone is already calming down."

Yoon-Jae who was initially passed out on the ground in the corner sat up and scolded the disciple.

"I-I’m sorry Brother Yoon-Jae, but I just want to see my sister."

Yoon-Jae sighed before slowly getting up.

"Look, we’ll add more people to the search party, we’ll find her. But in the anti, don’t spread this theory of yours. For now, let’s keep the narrative that it’s her first ti coming to the dinsion as a third-year and was thus lost."

Yoon-Jae comfort the youth as he led him out of the courtyard they were in.

After the youth left, Yoon-Jae turned and went back to pass out in the grass to the side.

Sol himself looked exhausted, but he looked over to Yoon-Jae and asked.

"Are you okay Brother Yoon-Jae?"

"I’m doing just fine."

Yoon-Jae’s face was flat on the ground so his words were slightly jumbled.

But then turning his head, he said.

"I need to go search for that girl."

"You think it has sothing to do with the Demonic Cult’s spies too?"

"Yeah, there is also that other disciple that went missing around the sa ti as this Bong Seon girl. There’s a high likelihood they were killed because they discovered this spy’s identity. Well, that’s if your theory of them not wanting to draw attention to themselves is true."

Sol sighed before responding.

"I’ll help."

"Don’t you have to go collect dicinal plants?"

"I already collect a bit for myself, and I helped a few groups find so Tier 5 and Tier 6 herbs to replant in the garden."

Yoon-Jae nodded before his head slamd back down onto the ground.
