Tong Xuelu walked out of the hospital. The sun was bright and warm on one’s body.
She hadn’t said anything to embarrass Mother Tong so more earlier not because she was worried or intimidated.She simply felt that that was unnecessary.Mother Tong had raised original owner. It sounded like it ca from Xiao Lu.She quickly hurried over after closing the door behind her and she saw Tong Jiaxin and Tong Mianmian bathing Xiao Lu.Xiao Lu was so cold that it was shaking. Its feather were stuck to its body and it looked very pitiful.Tong Xuelu was dumbfounded. “What are you guys doing here?”Tong Mianmian quickly pitter pattered over to Tong Xuelu when she saw her. “Big Sister, we are bathing Xiao Lu!”Tong Xuelu did not pick her up as she normally would. She said with a serious look. “I know that you are bathing Xiao Lu, but why are you doing that? Do you know that you will get Xiao Lu sick like that?”Chickens cannot be bathed. They would clean themselves with sand.The sun was already down now. Without the sun and no hair dryer at this day and age, Xiao Lu just might get sick from this.Tong Mianmian was stunned. Her big limpid eyes blinked and they quickly welled up.Tong Jiaxin, too, was stunned. His eyes rolled around, apparently realizing now that he was in trouble again.Tong Xuelu walked over and dipped her hand into the water. The water was warm and she felt a little better.She quickly grabbed so old clothes from inside the house and used it to dry Xiao Lu. She then made a coop for Xiao Lu inside the kitchen. With the stove in there, it was warr than the outside.Xiao Lu seed to have been traumatized and would not eat or drink anything. Tong Xuelu worried that it would get sick.Tong Jiaxin and Tong Mianmian realized that they had done sothing wrong and the two volunteered to stood by door as punishnt.Tong Jiaming quickly ca out and join them. He said that it was also his fault for not stopping them.Tong Xuelu let them stand there for two hours before she let them inside.
