Chapter 941: Chapter 941: Statue

"What is this relic again?"

Staring at the huge building towering seventy to eighty ters high, Ling Feng asked in astonishnt.

Yu Linglong looked at Li Fei’er: "Do you recognize this?"

"I think I’ve seen a similar picture before, this should be a Maya Pyramid!" Li Fei’er said.

"Uh, I think I understand now!"

Upon hearing this, Ling Feng imdiately smiled: "It seems that all these maps are relics of ancient civilizations!"

"But what’s the significance? Why is it made this way?" Yu Linglong asked.

"Who knows, either we find the answer or only the person who created this disk knows!"

Ling Feng shrugged his shoulders and walked forward with his sword in hand.

Not until he got close did he realize the sheer enormity of the Pyramid, beyond imagination!

It was built layer by layer with stones, but each layer of stone was already as tall as an adult!

Thus, when Ling Feng arrived at the foot of the Pyramid, he imdiately felt his own insignificance.

Touching the Giant Rock that had endured many years of vicissitudes, Ling Feng felt a wave of emotion.

He wasn’t sure if he was emotional about the passage of ti or because he could witness the relics of this ancient civilization with his own eyes.

At this point, Li Fei’er said: "It really seems to be a relic of the Maya civilization, which was quite powerful, they even spoke about the language of the apocalypse!"

"Ah? That’s impressive? Didn’t it not happen?" Ling Feng asked.

"Well, although it didn’t happen, in that era, thousands of years ago, the Mayans already had a very accurate calendar, far more advanced than other civilizations!" Li Fei’er explained.

"Oh, then how did they disappear?"

Ling Feng looked around at the lush vegetation, there definitely wouldn’t have been a lack of food, why did they suddenly vanish?

Li Fei’er shook her head: "I don’t know about that, even archaeologists aren’t clear, how could I understand?"

"Well, maybe our task is to find out the reason for their disappearance!"

Ling Feng smiled, carrying his sword and continued walking forward.

Such a large Pyramid must not be solid, there must be spaces inside.

After so searching, Ling Feng finally found an entrance.

But this place was clearly not a normal entrance, because it was a small hole that could only accommodate one person.

Placing his hand at the entrance, he could feel a draft of air passing through, Ling Feng turned and looked at Li Fei’er and the others: "You guys wait outside, I’ll go in and check!"

"Be careful then, uncle!"

Li Fei’er knew she wouldn’t be of much help inside, so she quickly said.

Ling Feng nodded and was about to crawl in when Yu Linglong suddenly spoke: "I’ll go with you!"

"Why not just wait outside? It’s better," Ling Feng said.

"I want to see if there are any murals inside. After seeing what was in Atlantis, I find the murals of ancient civilizations quite interesting!" Yu Linglong explained.

Ling Feng, feeling helpless and thinking an extra person wouldn’t make a difference, nodded: "Alright then, let’s go."

Saying that, he turned and crawled in.

The entrance was very small, only allowing one person to bend over and walk in.

Fortunately, both had Divine Sense at their side, they could see what was ahead, so there was no need to worry about anything lurking in the dark trying to ambush them.

After walking about ten ters, Ling Feng and Yu Linglong reached a dark environnt.

But the lack of light was no longer a problem, they used their Divine Sense to thoroughly scan the space.

It was just a small stone chamber, empty with nothing inside, even the stone walls were bare and had no murals.

"That’s a corridor, there might be sothing inside, let’s go!"

Yu Linglong, clearly more excited than Ling Feng, said and moved forward.

Following the corridor for another twenty ters, the space suddenly opened up, revealing a huge inner area to the two of them.

"This should be the central location!" Ling Feng said.

"What is that in the middle?"

Yu Linglong ignored him, heading straight forward.

Ling Feng scanned with his Divine Sense, also montarily stunned, then quickly followed her.

Getting close, facing a three-ter-tall statue in front of them, both were taken aback.

"Don’t you have a flashlight? Turn on the light, I want a closer look!" Yu Linglong said without turning her head.

Ling Feng took out a high powered flashlight from his Space Bracelet, handed her one, and they both turned them on.

Soon after, a white statue appeared in front of the two.

It depicted a young man, holding a Short Dagger and standing quietly.

Ling Feng and Yu Linglong both felt sothing was odd but couldn’t articulate what.

The two remained silent for a while before Yu Linglong suddenly turned to look at Ling Feng and shone the flashlight from his head down to his feet before asking solemnly: "This statue, it’s not you, is it?"

"Stop kidding!"

Ling Feng smiled wryly: "This sculpture is thousands of years old, how could it be ?"

"But didn’t Fei’er say the Mayans had the ability of foresight?" Yu Linglong enquired.

"But the prophecy failed, right?"

Ling Feng shrugged his shoulders, not believing the statue was himself!

That would be too preposterous.

He felt it was rely a slight resemblance, perhaps it was a hero from the Mayans’ ti, thus they had made this sculpture in his mory!

Yu Linglong, however, was not convinced and circled around the statue, then said earnestly: "This is you, even the dagger is the sa model, and look at the hairstyle, it’s yours too!"

"That’s impossible, just stop analyzing this thing!" Ling Feng said with a bitter smile.

Yu Linglong turned back to him: "Take out your phone, take so photos, and also a video, I’ll ask Ling Yao and Zhou Yi when we get back to see what they say!"

Ling Feng: "..."

He wanted to say it wasn’t necessary, but seeing Yu Linglong’s determined deanor, as if he had no choice but to take them, he finally took out his phone.

Following her orders, he took several photos and recorded a video circling the statue before Yu Linglong gave up.

Then, ignoring Ling Feng, she took the flashlight and walked away.

Ling Feng put away his phone, turned his head to look around, and did not see anything valuable anymore.

His Divine Sense stretched to its limit, the only space he could discover was this one with the statue and nothing else.

Seeing no other choice, he shouted to Yu Linglong: "Alright, I think this place might just be one part, there might be more Pyramids ahead, let’s not waste ti here anymore!"

"Okay."

Yu Linglong also felt a bit disappointed, originally thinking there would be many good things here, or so major discovery, but it turned out to be just a statue.

So, the two of them retraced their steps and quickly reached outside.

Just as they got out, Yu Linglong said: "Hurry up and show the photos to Fei’er and see, I refuse to believe they say it doesn’t look like you!"
