Seeing his expression, Lin Huaqiang asked with a puzzled tone, "You didn’t have so kind of a conflict with him, did you?"
"No big deal, it was just his bodyguards being too arrogant. I mocked them a bit, that’s all!" Ling Feng replied.
"Well, that’s good. That Sun Hao is a person who seeks revenge for even the slightest grievance. If you offended him, that kid would definitely not let it go!" Lin Huaqiang said.
Ling Feng smiled faintly, not taking it seriously at all. A guy at the peak of Dark Energy trying to compete with him would be utterly laughable!
As the conversation continued, they talked about so recent events. After listening, Lin Huaqiang pondered for a mont: "I’ve heard about these matters. I would have sent soone to help you if it weren’t for the distance."
"I appreciate your kindness, but there was no need. I had thought it would be a fierce battle, but it turned out to be easily resolved!" Ling Feng said with a smile.
Lin Huaqiang gave him a serious look: "That’s the best outco. I never expected that you’d improve so much in just a few short months!"
Ling Feng naturally felt very proud of himself after receiving such praise.
However, despite the pride he felt inside, he dared not be too showy on the surface to avoid being looked down upon by others.
So, he smiled and said, "Thanks for the complint, Uncle Lin."
Lin Huaqiang didn’t dwell on the topic further. After nodding his head and checking the ti, he stood up and said, "There’s still plenty of ti left. Let’s go out and find sowhere to eat."
"Sure, I’ll follow your lead!"
Ling Feng nodded and followed him out of the door and down the stairs.
They left in a car and soon arrived at a restaurant in the city center.
It was evident that the service staff recognized Lin Huaqiang. They warmly ushered both of them upstairs upon seeing him.
This was a private ho-style restaurant. The space wasn’t large, there weren’t many seats, and there were no private rooms—only individual tables.
Ling Feng knew that if Lin Huaqiang had brought him here, there must be sothing special about the food, so he did not feel slighted at all. Instead, he felt quite comfortable and at ease.
After they sat down, a waiter ca over with a nu, asking, "Mr. Lin, would you like the usual three dishes?"
Lin Huaqiang nodded, "Yes, but no alcohol tonight; we have so matters to discuss!"
"Alright!"
As the waiter left, Lin Huaqiang said to Ling Feng, "This place may not look like much, but the food is exceptional. You’ll know once you’ve tried it!"
"Good, if Uncle Lin recomnds it, I’m sure it won’t disappoint!"
Ling Feng nodded and said with a smile.
Afterward, he looked around and continued, "Please take a seat, Uncle Lin. I need to use the restroom."
He got up and walked towards the back, and following the signs on the wall, Ling Feng quickly located the n’s restroom.
A few minutes later, he washed his hands and stepped out, only to see a girl with her eyes closed, stumbling her way towards him.
Ling Feng instinctively stepped aside but then realized the girl was heading straight for the n’s restroom, and he froze in bewildernt!
As she was about to enter, Ling Feng quickly reached out and stopped her, "Hey, you’re going the wrong way; the ladies’ is on that side!"
The girl reeked of alcohol and gave him a drowsy glance, "Who are you? Get lost!"
"..."
Ling Feng was at a loss for words, thinking how his good intentions seed to go unrewarded. Well, if you insist on going in, go ahead!
There was no one else inside anyway.
But as he turned to leave, he felt it wasn’t quite right, so he stayed at the door, ready to wait for the girl to co out before he left.
After all, a young lady had drunk so much and insisted on entering the n’s restroom. What if soone else went in and sothing bad happened?
Ling Feng leaned against the wall, figuring the girl would be out in two or three minutes at most, and it wouldn’t delay him at all.
But just then, another girl hurried over and rushed into the adjacent won’s restroom.
A mont later, she ran out and, seeing Ling Feng standing at the n’s entrance, asked in confusion, "Excuse , did you see another girl co this way?"
"Inside, you’d better check on her. I warned her, but she still insisted on barging in!" Ling Feng said with a wry smile.
"Okay, thank you!"
The girl smiled and stepped through the door!
Seeing his companion arrive, Ling Feng smiled helplessly, turned, and was about to leave.
But as he lifted his foot, he felt sothing wasn’t quite right and quickly drew his foot back!
He pushed open the door and walked into the n’s restroom.
The girl who had entered first was hugging the toilet and throwing up, while the girl who followed stood beside her holding a shining dagger!
Ling Feng was shocked and imdiately shouted, "What are you doing!"
"How did you get in here!"
The girl with the dagger asked coldly.
Ling Feng’s eyes fixed on the dagger in her hand. He chuckled and said, "Because your behavior is too peculiar!"
"Huh? Did I give anything away?" the girl asked, puzzled.
"Such a young girl enters the n’s restroom and doesn’t show the slightest bit of nervousness or shyness. Don’t you find that strange?" Ling Feng asked with a cold laugh.
"Eh?"
The girl exclaid in surprise and then nodded, "I really did overlook that!"
Then looking up at Ling Feng, she said, "You’re good. You even noticed such a tiny detail!"
Ling Feng chuckled, "So, put down the dagger now, and stop your evil act!"
"Dream on!"
The girl sneered, and the dagger’s cold light flashed, heading straight for the back of the neck of the drunk girl!
Of course, Ling Feng wouldn’t allow her to harm soone in front of him, so he imdiately intervened with lightning speed!
The would-be stabber thought her dagger’s blade had already hit the drunk girl; suddenly, her vision blurred, and her hand felt empty!
When she ca to her senses, she realized Ling Feng had already snatched the dagger from her hand!
"You!"
The girl was stunned by his quick reflexes, realizing that she had encountered a formidable opponent.
After her surprise, she did sothing that left Ling Feng gobsmacked; she ripped at the collar of her clothes and then scread loudly, "Help! I’m being molested!"

The girl’s screams were piercing, and in no ti, footsteps sounded from outside, followed by several people rushing in!
Ling Feng flicked his wrist, and the dagger instantly vanished into his Space Ring, causing the girl’s gaze to tighten!
But with people already entering, she had no ti for further thought and quickly pointed at Ling Feng in panic, saying, "Help, this man tried to molest !"
With several angry stares upon him, Ling Feng could only shrug helplessly: "I say I’m a good guy, but I don’t know if you believe ?"
