Chapter 2205: Chapter 2204: Searching for the Statue
Ling Feng was puzzled but had no choice, he could only watch Martin examining the sand table of Mount Olympus, anxious but helpless.
Fortunately, after a while, Martin was done admiring the so-called miracle, and he looked up and said to Joseph, "Protector sir, why isn’t the god statue I sent here present!"
"Hmm? Why are you asking about this?" Joseph’s eyes briefly flashed alertness as he asked suspiciously.
"Nothing, it’s just that I haven’t seen it in a while, so I kind of miss it!" Martin replied.
Hearing this, Ling Feng nodded secretly, thinking to himself, "This kid is sensible enough, he hasn’t forgotten his mission!"
Actually, his worries were unnecessary. Martin could always feel Little Fei, hiding within him, squirming slightly, fearing that if he didn’t perform well, he might be bitten to death. He was already doing his best to conceal his panic and fear!
Listening to Martin’s words, the puzzled expression on Joseph’s face disappeared, and he nodded: "I can understand, after all, the god statue has been in your ho for so long."
"Yes, I’ve seen it since I was a child, so there’s so affection there. Do you know where it is now?" Martin asked.
Joseph hesitated for a mont, then said, "Sothing happened earlier. To protect the god statue, I have already moved it."
"What happened? The statue isn’t damaged, is it?"
Martin’s eyes widened with worry.
"Don’t worry; the statue is indestructible. Nothing can damage it!"
Joseph smiled and continued, "I’ve hidden it only to prevent anyone from stealing it."
This guy was also cunning, never ntioning that the statue had already attracted Odin’s Divine Sense and that it wouldn’t be long before his original form would arrive.
Clearly, even though Martin was a loyal supporter of the Pantheon Hall, that matter couldn’t be disclosed to him.
"I see, then can I still see it?" Martin asked.
"Of course you can!"
Joseph nodded and continued, "You are different from others; you have the highest authority in Pantheon Hall and can worship the great Odin at any ti."
He paused, then continued, "But not right now, because I have to go out on business. I’ll take you there when I return!"
"Alright, I’ll wait!"
Martin nodded slightly without saying much.
After staying in the hall for a while, Martin and Joseph left, then they parted ways.
At this point, Ling Feng started to feel anxious again, thinking to himself, "Joseph has to go out and can only look for Odin’s statue when he returns. How much ti will that waste?"
If this keeps going, wouldn’t I be stuck in the Pantheon Hall forever?
Thinking about this, a feeling of impatience started to brew within him.
Just then, Shinozuka Haruko reached out and held his hand: "Don’t worry, Martin perford quite well, he’s definitely trying to figure sothing out. Just wait and see."
"We can only wait."
Ling Feng smiled wryly and shook his head helplessly.
By this ti, Martin had already returned to his residence, that empty room.
After sitting down, Martin lowered his head in thought for a while, and only after half an hour did he get up, wiping his face and then shouting loudly after stepping out the door, "Is anyone there?"
A flash of white light appeared, and a figure appeared in front of him. It was the previous Divine Envoy.
"Mr. Martin, is there sothing you need?"
"Divine Envoy, I wish to see Protector Joseph," Martin said.
"You know Joseph’s room, don’t you?" the Divine Envoy asked.
Martin nodded, then laughed: "I haven’t co here in a long ti, and I’m afraid he’s changed rooms, so I want to make sure, so I don’t go to the wrong place!"
The Divine Envoy nodded: "Indeed, he has changed rooms, but it’s just next to the previous one, so when you go, you can still see it; there’s a sign on the door."
"That’s good, thank you, Divine Envoy!"
Martin said, and turned to leave, while the Divine Envoy disappeared imdiately.
Seeing this scene, Ling Feng felt puzzled; what was Martin up to?
Knowing that Joseph had business to attend to and might have already left, why was he still going to find him?
At that mont, Martin walked through the dark hallway, constantly covering a long distance, then going upstairs to a white hallway.
This place seed to be a more upscale residence, just from the decorations on the walls and the patterns on the stone slabs on the ground, one could tell it was out of the ordinary.
Martin’s gaze swept past the room door with Joseph’s na on it, but he didn’t go forward; instead, he stepped to the door of another room.
After standing there, he took a deep breath, then gently pushed the door open.
Amid a flash of white light, Martin’s vision was instantly a pure white, going through a short-lived blindness.
After his sight was restored, he saw a huge, oval-shaped, glowing body emanating a radiant white light.
Ling Feng was montarily stunned when he saw this because the light sphere was very tall, over two ters high, with a diater of more than one ter.
Martin stood there without moving, seemingly in a daze.
After several minutes of silence, he suddenly extended his hand.
Then Ling Feng saw his hand enter that light-emitting body, and imdiately after, Martin stepped inside!
The radiance vanished, leaving a world of darkness in front of his eyes!
But monts later, once adapted to the darkness here, Ling Feng saw that two-ter high statue, it was Odin.
"Goodness, the kid actually found it, how does he plan to proceed?"
Ling Feng was pleasantly surprised, and turned to look at Shinozuka Haruko.
Shinozuka Haruko just gave a restrained smile: "This question, you should wait a mont and ask him yourself!"
After Martin stood still, he took a deep breath.
Then, suddenly, a voice rang out: "Martin, what are you doing!"
This voice was sothing Ling Feng had never heard before, but he could surmise it must be Odin’s Divine Sense!
And Martin Preece was hearing this voice for the first ti as well, his body trembling slightly, and he said, "I ca to see, it’s unbelievable that what they’ve said is true, this statue really is about to revive!"
"This matter, your grandfather knew about it, didn’t he tell you?" Odin’s voice asked.
"No, I did not know."
Martin shook his head, then looked at the statue: "You’re not on Earth, are you?"
"No."
Odin’s voice was very concise, with a calm tone.
"Oh, I see."
Nodding his head, Martin then reached out and took out the bottle that was hidden on him.
Ling Feng’s heart started to race, now was the critical mont!
And Odin seed to be able to observe this scene, imdiately shouted sternly: "What are you doing!"
"I am acting on orders, don’t bla !"
Martin said while reaching out and unscrewing the bottle lid.
"Stop it, don’t destroy the statue, it’s taken
a hundred years of ticulous preparation, don’t obstruct !" Odin’s voice beca urgent.
"Sorry, when it cos to faith or reality, I choose reality, because I don’t know if your arrival on Earth might bring us disaster!"
Martin said this, then poured the resin from the bottle all over the statue!
