Chapter 2120: Chapter 2119: A Small Incident

The journey seed easy, but Ling Feng’s heart was always tense.

Not only because of the issue with the God Race, but ever since he set foot on the African Continent, he had a strange feeling.

This feeling was indescribable, but he always felt that sothing was going to happen.

Without conversation, Ling Feng and Li Fei’er soon arrived in the capital city of this country.

The so-called capital city, in the divine sense, seed even less developed than a prefecture-level city in Huaxia.

The economic level of this place was thus evident.

Ling Feng didn’t plan to disturb too many people, so he let Ghost Dragon land slightly away from the city, then he and Li Fei’er walked into the city.

The main purpose of this visit was to explore local customs and conditions and decide whether to invest in this place after understanding the situation.

To avoid being recognized and causing unpredictable butterfly effects, Ling Feng chose to disguise himself as an ordinary Huaxia person.

Walking on the streets and watching people coming and going, the city seed quite vibrant.

Of course, this was just the first impression, and clearly, ti was not enough to gain a deeper understanding.

The two strolled around the street for more than an hour. Ling Feng said to Li Fei’er, "We’re being watched!"

"Ah?"

Li Fei’er was startled and asked, "Who is it?"

"Probably so street punks. Sneakily following us!" Ling Feng laughed.

"Why are they watching us?"

Li Fei’er looked puzzled.

"Who knows? Let’s find a quiet place and see what they’re up to."

Ling Feng laughed, took her hand, and walked forward.

Using divine sense, it was easy to find a deserted alley, and they walked in.

The three people behind them were clearly familiar with the area. Seeing this, they quickly sped up their pace, and as they entered the alley, they imdiately drew daggers hidden in their waists!

Then, the leader, whose skin was as dark as coal, shouted in English, "Stop!"

They paused, and Ling Feng and Li Fei’er turned around.

"What’s up?" Ling Feng asked.

"Huaxia people?" The other party asked.

Ling Feng nodded, "Yeah, what’s the matter?"

The other party sneered, "Huaxia people are wealthy, hand over your wallets!"

"Ugh..."

Ling Feng was speechless, turns out it was a robbery!

Is the security in this place really that bad?

Robbing outright in broad daylight, there’s no law at all!

He hadn’t said anything yet when Li Fei’er imdiately said, "No money, want diamonds?"

The other party was taken aback, exchanged glances, and seed puzzled.

From their deanor, it seed these three were inexperienced in robbery, perhaps they ca up with the idea upon seeing Ling Feng and Li Fei’er as Huaxia people on the street.

The opponents were stunned, Li Fei’er smiled, flipped her palm, and a red diamond appeared in her hand, making the eyes of the three black n widen!

To them, such a thing was invaluable!

As the saying goes, "Man dies for wealth; bird dies for food," seeing such a large diamond, a blood diamond, made their eyes turn red!

Then the leader shook his dagger at Li Fei’er, "Throw the diamond over, or we’ll kill you!"

"If you have the guts, co and get it!" Li Fei’er smiled.

Seeing this little girl provoke them, the three exchanged glances again!

Feeling insulted, the leader waved his dagger and charged forward!

But before he got near, there was a sharp shout, and the man imdiately flew back, dragging his two companions down with him!

"Kung fu!"

The three weren’t injured but were very embarrassed, shouted as they got up, left the daggers, turned, and ran!

Seeing this, Ling Feng and Li Fei’er exchanged a glance, feeling sowhat speechless.

"The security in this place is nothing to be optimistic about!"

Ling Feng sighed, pulling Li Fei’er out of the alley and back onto the street.

Just a minor incident, didn’t affect the mood much, only lowered Ling Feng’s impression of this place a bit.

As they walked a little further, he suddenly smiled at Li Fei’er, "I actually saw a Huaxia store here, shall we take a look?"

"Sure, there are Huaxia people here, amazing!" Li Fei’er said.

"Hmm, there should be so Huaxia people in this city, otherwise those three guys wouldn’t have that perception, thinking Huaxia people are rich!"

Ling Feng nodded, then took her hand and walked forward.

They walked several hundred ters, then entered a shop by the roadside.

It was a general store selling daily goods, run by a man in his forties, wearing flashy clothes, looking like he just returned from a beach vacation.

"What do you need?"

Seeing Ling Feng and Li Fei’er, the owner paused for a mont and asked in English.

Though they were oriental faces, he couldn’t be sure they were Huaxia people, since Dongying and Goryeo people also looked like this.

Ling Feng smiled, "The owner is Huaxia, right?"

"Oh, fellow countryn!"

The shop owner suddenly bead, imdiately switched to Huaxia language, "Are you here to travel or on business?"

"Travel, just taking a look at the local customs!"

Ling Feng smiled, and then said, "You’re amazing, running your business all the way to Africa!"

"Not at all, just trying to make a living!"

The shop owner laughed and then said, "You guys are brave, coming to this place for tourism. Haven’t encountered any issues yet?"

"Actually, we did!"

Ling Feng chuckled, and then said, "We just encountered a robbery, but we scared them off!"

"Is that so? Lucky then!"

The shop owner nodded and then said, "The security here is not great. There are dozens of Huaxia business owners here, locals know we’re wealthy, so when I go out I always choose busy places, otherwise it’s easy to get targeted!"

"Security is so poor, doesn’t the governnt regulate it?" Ling Feng asked.

"Brother, this is Africa, not Huaxia!"

The shop owner gave a bitter smile, "It’s chaotic here, if you listen to my advice, don’t travel around here. Leave quickly and go to other countries!"

"Not that serious, just a few punks can’t scare us!" Ling Feng laughed.

The owner shook his head, "It’s not about the punks, this country has had constant issues recently, there are rumors in the Huaxia circle that there might be a war, everyone wants to leave but can’t bear their businesses, now we’re all watching!"

He looked at Ling Feng and Li Fei’er, "You two young people are brave, but if war breaks out, you won’t be able to leave even if you want to!"
