Chapter 2112: Chapter 2111: Robots

Ling Feng nodded: "I know."

Then he smiled: "Opportunities and risks coexist, I might as well go take a look!"

"Be very careful, don’t be negligent!" Han Wancheng reminded.

"Okay, I understand!"

Ling Feng nodded, said nothing more, and directly teleported away.

After returning to the spaceship on the Moon’s Back, he said to Yao: "Is that spaceship alright?"

"No, I tried to contact the other side, but there was no response."

Yao looked up at him: "Are you planning to board that spaceship now?"

"Yes!"

Ling Feng nodded: "No matter what, we need to take a look."

"Okay, I’ll go with you." Yao said.

"No need, I can go myself, no need for you to take the risk alongside."

Ling Feng chuckled and continued: "After all, last ti you helped

repel the invaders from Shallow Blue Star, you used up your magical treasure."

"It’s okay, I might be able to help you, and I’m also very interested in that spaceship!" Yao said with a smile.

Seeing her insistence, Ling Feng reluctantly said: "Alright, if you want to go, that’s fine, hopefully we won’t encounter any danger."

"With you around, I’m not afraid of danger, I trust you to handle it!" Yao said.

Hearing her words, Ling Feng could only force a smile: "Don’t say that, if sothing really happens, I’d be very regretful!"

The two quickly boarded another miniature spaceship, and after departing the Moon, Yao said to Ling Feng: "That giant spaceship is slowing down, the decrease in speed is quite noticeable!"

"That indicates there must be soone inside, or intelligent machines controlling it."

Ling Feng nodded, suddenly feeling a bit of anticipation: "If they an no harm, what benefits could we gain this ti!"

"The benefit is probably that spaceship, right?"

Yao chuckled and then said: "If you can acquire it, you’d save a lot of interdiate steps and directly possess a tool for interstellar travel."

"I’m more interested in the technology, that spaceship is so big, repairing it would be quite a hassle, better to have a smaller one!" Ling Feng laughed.

The two spoke lightheartedly, but in reality, they were still sowhat tense inside.

Even though Ling Feng was already experienced and had encountered many people and races from extraterrestrial planets, the unknown civilization still made him nervous.

During the flight, Yao kept her eyes on the miniature spaceship landing on the giant spaceship.

But it was neither attacked nor receiving any ssages from the giant spaceship.

After a few hours of flying, Yao glanced at the screen, turned to Ling Feng, and said: "I received a signal from Earth, it seems Arica has launched a rocket!"

"They’re too late!"

Ling Feng chuckled and said: "By the ti they reach that spaceship, we’ll already be there!"

"Yes, they surely can’t compare to us in speed!" Yao also laughed.

The spaceship races through space, and after quite so ti, it gradually nears, closing in to about a thousand kiloters.

At this ti, Ling Feng laughed: "If they suddenly attack us, we’d be in trouble!"

"Yes, hopefully, we’ll have ti to teleport away." Yao nodded.

Just as the words fell, a white light shone from the giant spaceship and instantly enveloped their spaceship!

Ling Feng and Yao hardly had ti to react!

The speed of light was beyond the reaction speed of human nerves!

So instantly, they found themselves no longer in space.

The screen showed black, and nothing could be seen through the portholes.

"The spaceship is now controlled and not responding to my operations." Yao said.

"At least we’re not dead."

Ling Feng gave a bitter smile and then thought: "If I’m not mistaken, we might already be inside that spaceship!"

"Why did that spaceship have no movent, yet we ended up like this?" Yao asked, puzzled.

"Perhaps it’s because we were here?"

Ling Feng speculated.

Just after he spoke, the vicinity suddenly had faint glimrs, gradually growing brighter, allowing them to see their surroundings clearly.

This was a giant space, the spaceship floating mid-air, dense machinery both above and below, unclear what they were for.

With reference points, they could feel the spaceship sliding forward, not completely stationary.

Ling Feng and Yao exchanged glances, both starting to feel excited.

After the spaceship slid for a while, a platform appeared ahead.

Ling Feng swept his Divine Sense, noticing the platform had a robot nearly two ters tall, with limbs and a head, very similar in appearance to humans.

Seeing this, he imdiately told Yao: "Seems there are indeed only robots here, no humans; my Divine Sense scanned the area and found no signs of living beings."

"Having robots is fine!"

Yao said, looking at the platform, she took a deep breath.

The spaceship soon approached the platform and slowly landed on it, with the cabin door opening automatically!

Ling Feng and Yao again had no ti to react, fortunately the outside space had oxygen, otherwise they’d have to hurry and put on protective gear.

They exchanged a glance, stood up, and stepped out of the spaceship.

The robot remained motionless but emitted sounds that were incomprehensible, seemingly a type of language.

Ling Feng thought, it looks like he’ll need to slowly learn to communicate with them.

Unexpectedly, the robot opened its palm, revealing two small earphones.

"What are these?"

Ling Feng was taken aback, quickly realizing, reaching out to take them in hand.

This was obviously a simultaneous translation device, even more advanced, facilitating direct communication through neural waves.

Sure enough, once he put on the earphones, the other’s sounds instantly transford into Huaxia language.

Then, he heard the robot say: "Welco!"

"Where are you from?" Ling Feng asked.

"We co from the Orion Nebula." The robot answered.

Ling Feng was startled: "You? Are there other robots here?"

"It’s not robots, it’s the last life of our civilization." The robot said.

"Hmm?"

Ling Feng couldn’t help but be astonished, his Divine Sense had clearly scanned the area without seeing signs of life. How could there be people?

Nonetheless, he didn’t rush to ask where the person was but continued asking: "What’s your purpose in entering the Solar System?"

"To escort the master, searching for a sanctuary." The robot replied.

"I see!"

Ling Feng suddenly understood, most of his questions were almost answered.

But he still promptly asked: "Why? Was your planet destroyed?"
