Chapter 2025: Chapter 2024: Unexpected

Ling Feng went downstairs, and soon a car arrived outside, then he went to the police headquarters.

Upon arrival, Ito Shizuka, dressed in white, with her long hair flowing, was already standing there.

Seeing her, Ling Feng realized that it was Amaterasu occupying the main position now, not Ito Shizuka, so he got out of the car and asked, "How do you plan to go to that place?"

"I need your help. I’ll leave soon and let Ito Shizuka accompany you. Once you reach the incident sea area, I’ll show up again," Amaterasu said.

Ling Feng didn’t understand why she was doing this, but he still nodded, "Alright, got it!"

Then he summoned the Ghost Dragon.

Even though it’s broad daylight and this is a bustling area of Tokyo, there’s no ti to worry about that now.

He leapt onto the Ghost Dragon’s back with Ito Shizuka, and the two of them ascended into the sky.

On the way to the incident sea area, Ling Feng looked at Ito Shizuka, "Amaterasu is really anxious this ti, huh?"

"Yeah, when I heard about the earthquake, I felt uneasy. Just as I was about to call you, she appeared," Ito Shizuka said.

Ling Feng looked at her and then laughed, "Sharing a body feels kind of weird, doesn’t it?"

"I know!"

Ito Shizuka nodded and then said, "Amaterasu is refining her physical form, and soon she can appear using her own body."

"Really?"

Ling Feng’s interest was piqued, "Then you can go to Huaxia, right?"

Ito Shizuka glanced at him, "Do you really want

to go over?"

"Of course!"

Ling Feng nodded, "Don’t you want to go?"

"I..."

Ito Shizuka lowered her head slightly and stopped talking.

Ling Feng smiled without pressing further and turned his gaze towards the distant sea.

Ghost Dragon’s flying speed was very fast, much faster than a helicopter, so it took only about half an hour to reach the scene.

The helicopter from the news station couldn’t last much longer, almost running out of fuel, and was leaving the scene while several other planes were arriving, with fighter jets occasionally flying by, monitoring the gigantic monster.

Ling Feng swept with his Divine Sense and surprisingly found a uniquely shaped flying object—it was Kidd’s!

"This guy ca too?"

Muttering to himself, Ling Feng also noticed a small boat floating on the nearby sea, and it was Dick standing on it!

"Uh..."

Ling Feng was speechless, thinking that the appearance of this monster was indeed quite attractive!

He didn’t rush to act, after all, the monster was still in the process of surfacing, not knowing what it would do next, there was no need to attack yet.

While waiting, beyond Ling Feng’s Divine Sense, a fleet appeared.

It was Arica’s navy—dispatching an aircraft carrier, two escort ships, and three destroyers from nearby.

Although Ling Feng’s Divine Sense couldn’t see it, he noticed the tal glint in the distance, knowing that ard forces from various countries were converging here, but he didn’t care who was over there.

When the monster finally erged, its enormous body began to move, Ling Feng focused and observed, wanting to see what it intended to do!

At that mont, the gigantic beast suddenly paused, raised its enormous head, and glanced at the sky.

Ling Feng was puzzled, then heard Amaterasu’s voice from behind, "It’s found !"

"What’s the aning? It can sense you once you appear?" Ling Feng asked.

"Yes, I have a unique God Race aura, so it can naturally perceive it. Be careful, this guy might attack!"

Just as the words fell, the monster on the sea opened its mouth, and a dazzling white beam shot straight into the sky, aid at Ghost Dragon!

"Awooo!"

The Ghost Dragon let out a roar, then suddenly flipped its body as the white beam grazed its side and shot into the atmosphere.

Ling Feng smacked his lips, "Goodness, what kind of attack is this, could it be a laser cannon?"

"More or less, it’s a Death Ray emitted from a crystal within its mouth. If Ghost Dragon were hit, it would be reduced to ashes!" Amaterasu said.

Ling Feng was speechless, but then noticed that after the monster spewed the white beam, it ignored him and Amaterasu, then bowed down and subrged into the water!

"Is it escaping?"

Ling Feng widened his eyes and exclaid in surprise.

"No, it’s heading to its destination!"

Amaterasu said calmly.

Looking at the direction the monster was swimming, Ling Feng lifted his head to her, "This creature isn’t heading towards Dongying over there!"

"Right, according to this direction, it’s heading to Arica’s West Coast!" Amaterasu said.

"Oh!"

Ling Feng couldn’t help but chuckle, then excitedly said, "Then it’s handy, we can just watch the show!"

"Uh, are you sure?"

Amaterasu glanced at him, then asked, "Are you really going to sit back and do nothing?"

"No, just joking. I just want to see those Aricans panicking!"

Ling Feng chuckled, then said, "I only dislike those manipulating power in Arica, as for ordinary people, I have no ill feelings."

"Oh, I see."

Amaterasu nodded, then said, "It will take so ti for it to reach the West Coast. If you’re not in a hurry, we might as well watch."

"Alright!"

Ling Feng smiled, watching the monster leave behind a gigantic white trail on the sea surface. Its enormous body couldn’t be concealed even underwater; a huge shadow could be seen rapidly moving beneath the waves.

At this mont, the Arican warships were indeed thrown into confusion, initially assuming the monster would head to the nearest Dongying, unexpectedly it defied logic and went towards Arica.

So now the command officer on the aircraft carrier was using satellite communication to report the situation to superiors, uncertain about the next step.

In the following two hours, Huaxia’s warships were mixed with Russia’s fleet at a distance behind the monster, not showing any reaction.

Ling Feng reckoned they were like him, waiting to watch the show, right?

If Arica doesn’t act, Huaxia and Russia certainly won’t make the first move.

It’s not going to their own front door, why worry?

Besides, if they do act, what if the monster changes direction?

Better to wait for Arica’s reaction.

Thus, under the watchful eyes of all parties, the giant monster continued underwater, while Arica’s fleet began to retreat without launching an imdiate attack.

Ling Feng stretched lazily on Ghost Dragon’s back, turning to Amaterasu, "At this rate, we might have to wait a long ti!"

"If you’re tired, take a rest first. I’ll keep watch." Amaterasu nodded.
