Chapter 1978: Chapter 1977: Ito Shizuka’s Request
Upon understanding that everything was normal and nothing special had happened, Ling Feng didn’t linger and teleported away directly.
Even though Jack Ross and the others had been sent here more than ten days ago, Ling Feng felt it wasn’t enough ti, at least another two weeks were needed to let these guys suffer a little more hardship!

When the two approached, he smiled and asked, "Miss Ito, when did you arrive?"
"I arrived yesterday."
Ito Shizuka smiled, then asked, "Mr. Ling, have you been busy these days?"
"Not really, I’ve finished a busy phase and I’ve been idle lately," Ling Feng chuckled.
Xiang Zelan isn’t considered one of our own, so Lingyun Island’s launch event wasn’t disclosed to her, which resulted in Ito Shizuka being unaware of it as well.
Thus, Ling Feng didn’t want to say more to avoid leaking secrets.
And Ito Shizuka didn’t ask further either, just nodded and said, "I ca unannounced to find Xiang Zelan this ti, you wouldn’t be angry, would you, Mr. Ling?"
"How could I be?"
Ling Feng laughed, "Since I’ve given you the Teleportation Pendant, you’re welco to co to Huaxia anyti; we’re friends now, I’m not that stingy!"

Ito Shizuka nodded, then added, "Actually, my visit this ti isn’t just to et Xiang Zelan, more importantly, I want to ask you for a favor!"

Ling Feng was startled, then asked, "Is there sothing going on?"
"Here’s the thing, the Tokyo tropolitan Police Departnt discovered a very strange case three days ago. The police are helpless in finding the culprit, so they want to ask you for help."
Having said that, Ito Shizuka smiled and continued, "I heard that you are very skilled in solving cases and finding culprits, Mr. Ling. I wonder if you’re interested."
"Well..."
Ling Feng pondered for a mont, then smiled and said, "You’ve personally co to ; if I refuse, it wouldn’t be polite, would it? Alright then, let’s go back and discuss the case and see how peculiar it is!"
"Okay!"
Ito Shizuka’s eyes flickered with joy, and she promptly nodded.
The three went down the mountain and returned to Ling Feng’s ho.
Sitting down, Ling Feng imdiately asked, "What kind of case brings Miss Ito all the way to Huaxia?"
"The case is quite peculiar; the victim is the son of the Tokyo governor, and there’s significant pressure from the police departnt. This matter didn’t concern
initially, but out of curiosity regarding the case, I also want to know how the killer accomplished it!"
Having said that, Ito Shizuka introduced the case details.
The victim’s na was Yoshino Ichiro, known as being the son of a Dongying dignitary. His family lived in a mansion heavily guarded by security, and ordinarily, no one could approach.
However, three days ago, Yoshino Ichiro was found dead in his bedroom, with a grueso death scene!
He was lying on the bed at the ti, with his eyes wide open staring at the ceiling, and the blood sprayed from his neck almost dyed the entire ceiling red.
Those who witnessed this scene were quite shocked; even experienced senior police officers felt the scene was incredibly eerie!
Upon investigation, there wasn’t any sign of a struggle in the room, and the doors and windows were all closed.
The police even checked the central air conditioning passage that could only accommodate a cat, and the inside showed no trace of any creature passing through.
This was a classic closed-room murder case; no one believed Yoshino Ichiro committed suicide, yet they couldn’t figure out how the killer pulled it off.
With his son dead, Governor Yoshino Yudai was furious and ordered the police departnt to solve the case within a deadline, which puzzled many people.
There were plenty of superpower users in the Special Operations Unit, but after checking the scene, they were also bewildered, not knowing how it happened.
Faced with this dilemma, Ito Shizuka thought of Ling Feng.
After listening to her description, Ling Feng narrowed his eyes, pondered for a mont, and said, "This is a classic closed-room murder case!"
"Yes, we have reason to suspect the perpetrator is certainly a superpower user, but unfortunately, no clues were left," Ito Shizuka said.
"Interesting!"
Ling Feng chuckled, raised his head to look at her, and said, "Since it’s urgent, let’s head to Dongying then!"
"Great, thank you so much!" Ito Shizuka quickly said.
Ling Feng chuckled and turned to look at Xiang Zelan, "Are you joining us?"
"No, there’s a lot going on in the group here, I can’t leave."
Xiang Zelan said, then added, "I wouldn’t be much help even if I went, so I won’t go and create trouble."
"Alright."
Ling Feng nodded without saying much more.
Knowing that Ito Shizuka was in a hurry, he didn’t delay further and quickly teleported with her to Dongying.
Upon arrival, as they boarded a car heading to the cri scene, Ito Shizuka suddenly rembered sothing, turned to Ling Feng, and said, "By the way, Mr. Ling, about the paynt for this task!"
Ling Feng was montarily stunned, glanced at her, and said, "No need, we’re friends, discussing paynt seems estranged!"
"That won’t do!"
Ito Shizuka shook her head, thought for a mont, and said, "Mr. Ling is a prominent figure, helping us amid your busy schedule cannot go unpaid. I haven’t been thoughtful enough regarding this matter, but I’ll give you an answer later!"
Ling Feng chuckled, thinking that he wasn’t short on money or things, what compensation could I possibly need, I’ll tactfully decline when the ti cos.
Without saying much more, the car soon arrived at Kyoto’s suburbs, reaching a large residential area.
The security at the entrance was ard, evidently indicating the stringent level of protection.
As the car reached the entrance, Ito Shizuka presented her credentials and told the guard, "This is Ling Feng, Mr. Ling, I’m sure you recognize him?"
Upon seeing Ling Feng in the front passenger seat, the guard’s expression changed!
Then his stern face turned into a bright smile, nodding and bowing instantly.
In response, Ling Feng felt a bit speechless.
He hadn’t anticipated that he would encounter such a day!
Originally, he thought the few tis he visited Dongying did harm to their national interests, and the locals should utterly despise him.
However, judging by now, they were unexpectedly respectful, even showing a look of admiration!
