Chapter 1903: Chapter 1902: Reconciliation

Ling Feng smiled and asked the man in black leading the way, "Are we going upstairs or downstairs?"

The man in black was clearly taken aback, then said, "Upstairs."

He was puzzled, thinking to himself, isn’t this Ling Feng’s first ti here? How does he know there is a basent here?

After entering the elevator, he pressed the button for the tenth floor, and the door closed.

Seeing this, Ling Feng was sowhat curious, "Is your security system so weak? You don’t even have checks, you can directly go upstairs from the underground garage?"

"Mr. Ling, you might not know, we have prepared to receive you, so after seeing us arrive with you on the caras, all procedures were canceled, allowing us to go directly upstairs!" the man in black explained.

"I see!"

Ling Feng nodded and didn’t ask any more questions.

After the elevator reached the top floor and opened, a plump middle-aged white man stretched out his hand to Ling Feng with a smile, "Mr. Ling, welco, welco!"

"You’re too kind!"

Ling Feng smiled and shook the man’s hand.

Through Mind Soul Art, Ling Feng realized the man’s genuine attitude towards him wasn’t an act.

Ling Feng couldn’t help but wonder, the Kangaroo Country’s security departnt should be in cahoots with the military, right? How co I annihilated their people, yet they don’t hate

but actually respect ?

Carrying this doubt, he heard the middle-aged man introduce himself, "Mr. Ling, I am Harrison, the head of the National Security Departnt!"

"Hello, Mr. Harrison."

Ling Feng nodded, then asked, "I wonder what you need

here for?"

"Indeed, there is sothing, let’s talk inside!"

Harrison gestured invitingly.

Ling Feng followed him into a huge office, while the two n in black stayed at the door, not coming in.

Upon entering, Harrison invited Ling Feng to sit on the sofa, then sat across from him.

The room had only the two of them, making Ling Feng suspicious, but he wasn’t in a hurry, so he refrained from speaking.

Harrison hesitated for a mont, then cautiously, probing, asked, "Mr. Ling, do you mind telling

what brought you to Australia this ti?"

"I’m here to surrender myself!"

Ling Feng shrugged, saying with a smile.

"Uh..."

Harrison was montarily embarrassed, forcing a slight smile, "Sorry, Mr. Ling, perhaps you haven’t heard, the judge who issued the warrant has been removed!"

"Oh?"

Ling Feng was stunned; he indeed didn’t know this, so he quickly asked, "When did this happen?"

Harrison replied, then added, "That judge was a nationalist who lost his sanity due to emotional outburst, hence acted impulsively. Now, the warrant has been revoked!"

"I see!"

Ling Feng realized, then nodded, "That’s a sha, I wanted to et him and have a good chat!"

Harrison understood what Ling Feng ant by "chat," and after a brief awkward smile, he quickly said, "This matter can’t be directly apologized for by the officials, so here, on behalf of the Kangaroo Country governnt, I apologize to you, Mr. Ling!"

"No need for that; just handle your country’s ss,"

Ling Feng shook his head, then asked, "By the way, the Pri Minister has resigned; hasn’t your new Pri Minister taken office yet?"

"Still in the transition period, but the new Pri Minister has issued orders to thoroughly investigate troops stationed overseas, absolutely not allowing the military to beco hired guns for others!"

Harrison said.

"That’s more like it!"

Ling Feng nodded, smilingly said, "Seems like your attitude towards admitting faults is decent!"

"And it is thanks to Mr. Ling; otherwise, we wouldn’t have realized the extent of the tragedies caused by our overseas military personnel!"

Harrison said.

His words surprised Ling Feng, making him feel a bit of goodwill toward this middle-aged man in his fifties.

After smiling, Ling Feng said, "There’s no need to say that, essentially, it’s a problem with your managent. Just make sure to handle the aftermath properly and avoid similar incidents in the future."

"Yes, yes, there definitely won’t be such incidents in the future!"

Harrison nodded.

Having clarified Ling Feng’s reason for coming, he was relieved, knowing that Ling Feng likely wouldn’t cause trouble on the Continent.

Then Harrison continued, "Mr. Ling is here from afar, the whole world is watching this matter. As a representative of my country, I must give you a proper reception!"

Ling Feng realized the reason they had invited him.

Whether the official intent is genuine or not, they surely must put on this show, as the world watches. Missing such an opportunity to restore national reputation is inconceivable.

However, Ling Feng did not want to be an actor in their performance for the global dia!

So, he smiled, then promptly said, "There’s no need for a reception, nor am I interested in press conferences and similar events. Having sat here for a few minutes is enough for outsiders to speculate!"

"Then what do you an, Mr. Ling?"

Harrison was sowhat puzzled, quickly asking.

"I don’t an anything. Since your attitude is sincere, willing to admit mistakes and self-investigate, then this matter ends here. I won’t have further disputes with your officials!" Ling Feng said.

"Great, I understand!"

Harrison was relieved and quickly nodded.

But then Ling Feng changed the subject, "Though I have so assets in Mo City, so I might stay for a while. You wouldn’t overthink this, right?"

"Of course not!"

Harrison shook his head, "Our country welcos all investors and tourists from around the world; Mr. Ling can stay as long as you wish!"

"That’s good!"

Ling Feng smiled, stood up, and said, "I won’t disturb you further; I’ve got quite a few things to handle!"

"I’ll see you out, Mr. Ling!" Harrison said.

Ling Feng did not refuse, knowing this was his opportunity to shine, so he nodded, "Alright, let’s go out through the main entrance; quite a few reporters are waiting outside."

Once downstairs, indeed many reporters were waiting by the roadside and opposite. When seeing Ling Feng co out, the flashlights started flickering again.

Ling Feng and Harrison smiled while shaking hands to say goodbye, giving the dia ample ti to capture photos before departing.

Half an hour later, in the hotel room, Ah Min appeared and checked surroundings, asking in confusion, "Boss, weren’t we going back to Mo City? Why have we checked into a hotel instead?"

"There’s sothing I want to figure out!"

Ling Feng smiled and continued, "Harrison’s building has twelve underground floors, the lowest three floors, my Divine Sense couldn’t penetrate. Isn’t that strange?"
