Chapter 1896: Chapter 1895: The Situation Escalates

Ling Feng didn’t say much more, holding Catherine’s waist as they left, heading straight towards where Bruce Fort was located.

Catherine’s parents also lived in Bruce Fort. This place is a famous tourist city in the country of Eila, but due to recent unrest, there have been far fewer tourists.

Ling Feng wasn’t in the mood to understand the reasons behind the civil war in Eila. He only knew that because of the unrest, the United Nations had sent peacekeeping forces to maintain order and protect civilians.

But unexpectedly, those who were supposed to protect the citizens committed heinous cris. He really couldn’t understand their mindset!

So, while feeling angry, Ling Feng also wanted to understand why they resorted to killing!

Rushing all the way, the two quickly reached the city’s edge, where a large military camp appeared on the open ground ahead.

Ling Feng stopped, scanned with his divine sense, and found that there were many soldiers in this camp, wearing different uniforms, obviously not from the sa country.

Moreover, Ling Feng even saw the Huaxia flag and Eastern faces wearing Huaxia soldiers’ uniforms!

This left Ling Feng a bit stunned. He turned to Catherine and asked, "This is quite a large camp with troops from different countries. Who exactly committed the massacre?"

"I don’t know. Anyway, that villager told

before dying that it was the peacekeeping force!" Catherine said.

Ling Feng acknowledged with an "oh" and then squinted his eyes: "Then this matter is a bit complicated and needs to be thoroughly investigated!"

After saying that, he turned to Catherine and said, "Let’s not rush to act; we should find a place to settle first."

Naturally, Catherine followed his lead, nodding, "Okay!"

The two didn’t go to the camp; instead, they went directly to the city and did not return to their previous residence. Catherine found a new hotel.

Once in the room, Ling Feng thought for a mont, took out his phone, and called ho.

Upon connection, Han Wancheng’s voice ca through: "Why are you using a satellite phone? You’re not in the country?"

"No, sothing ca up suddenly, so I’m in Africa, in the country of Eila!"

Ling Feng said, getting straight to the point, "Boss, there’s a Huaxia peacekeeping force here in Bruce Fort. Can you help

get in touch with them?"

"Oh?"

Han Wancheng was startled and imdiately asked, "What are you inquiring about?"

"It’s like this..."

Ling Feng didn’t hide anything, explaining Catherine’s discovery and his own decision.

After listening, Han Wancheng fell into silence on the other end.

A mont later, he said, "Ling Feng, I understand your feelings, but have you considered that taking action directly against peacekeeping soldiers is equivalent to a direct act of war, and no country would overlook it!"

"They killed people, so they should pay a corresponding price!" Ling Feng said.

"I know, but it has to be handled by their governnt. You have no right to judge them!" Han Wancheng said.

"Then I can at least gather evidence, right?" Ling Feng asked.

Han Wancheng thought for a mont, then seriously asked him, "Can you guarantee not to act rashly after obtaining the evidence?"

Ling Feng smiled bitterly, nodding, "I promise, but the premise is that those people will receive a fair trial. If their country does nothing or shields them, I will still kill them!"

"Alright, that’s fine!"

Han Wancheng nodded, then said, "Hold on a mont. I’ll contact the external departnt to see if we can find the local peacekeeping force’s person in charge!"

"Okay!"

Ling Feng nodded and hung up the phone.

"Are you planning to sneak into the camp to find evidence?"

Having heard Ling Feng’s conversation, Catherine asked.

"That’s the only option. We can’t wrong others, can we?"

Ling Feng said, then added, "Don’t worry, I definitely won’t let them off!"

"Okay!"

Catherine nodded. Just as she was about to speak, her phone suddenly rang abruptly.

After answering, her brows furrowed, and she imdiately shouted in English, "Mom, don’t worry, speak slowly."

As she listened, her expression changed.

Ling Feng used his divine sense to hear the voice on the other end; it was Catherine’s mother shouting. It seed chaotic on the other side with many people’s noises, mixed with young n’s shouts, seemingly attempting to forcibly take Catherine’s parents away!

Hearing this, Ling Feng knew Catherine was anxious and quickly said, "Don’t panic, first find out what’s going on!"

By this ti, the call had already lost signal. It was clear Catherine’s mother’s phone was snatched and then hung up!

Turning back, Catherine looked anxious, "My mom said soone broke into the hotel room wanting to take them away for investigation, all in military uniforms!"

"That’s simple then!"

Ling Feng squinted, "If I’m not mistaken, either your parents leaked sothing, or they were discovered when they left. Those who did wrong are the most guilty; they want to know if your parents saw the situation in the village!"

"Yeah, that’s definitely it!"

Catherine, in a panic, widened her eyes upon hearing this.

"So, don’t worry. They won’t be in life-threatening danger for now. Let’s set off quickly; by then, we’ll probably figure out who’s behind it!"

Ling Feng said, grabbing her hand and heading out.

They reached the hotel lobby, and after speaking to the manager for a bit, Ling Feng used a few hundred US Dollars to hire a hotel car and driver.

Then the two drove away, while Ling Feng also expanded his divine sense to search the city.

According to his deduction, if those people were from the camp, they would definitely take Catherine’s parents back to the camp, so Ling Feng was scanning vehicles going out of the city direction and soon found their trail!

Catherine’s parents were on the car, both being held down by a few strong soldiers, with their mouths stuffed with towels and blindfolds on their faces!

Although the two struggled fiercely, they were old and no match for those soldiers, so they couldn’t resist at all.

Seeing this, anger surged in Ling Feng’s heart, nearly making him forget Han Wancheng’s advice.

Luckily, just as the car was trailing those camouflaged off-road vehicles, Han Wancheng’s call ca through.

Upon answering, Han Wancheng told him, "I’ve contacted the person there. It happens to be the son of an old war buddy, nad Xu Li. Just find him and ntion my na when you arrive!"

"Got it, I understand!"

Ling Feng said, imdiately hanging up the phone!

Han Wancheng was taken aback, suddenly sensing sothing unusual!

So he imdiately called back, and when Ling Feng answered, he quickly asked, "What’s going on, is sothing happening over there?"

"Catherine’s parents were taken. I’m chasing them now. They’re all in military uniforms, possibly the ones who committed the massacre!" Ling Feng said.
