Chapter 1746: Chapter 1745: First to Arrive

As he looked at the luxurious room, Jess swallowed hard: "I only heard about George’s incident, there might be so exaggeration..."

"No matter, just tell

directly. For things you don’t know, ask your companions. I want to know the detailed process!" Ling Feng said.

Not knowing his purpose, Jess thought for a mont and decided to recount everything he had heard honestly.

This person nad George Gick is quite high-profile. Although he’s in his forties, he’s still active in Washington D.C.’s social circles.

This man has a fortune of several tens of millions of US Dollars and is still unmarried, which makes him quite popular locally.

As for the reason for George Gick’s disappearance, it’s said that after attending a banquet, his driver took him ho and agreed to pick him up for a charity event the next morning, but the next day, he was nowhere to be found.

The police have already sent people to investigate. By monitoring the caras around George’s house, it was discovered that he never left the house after returning.

But he was gone, and the incident caused quite a stir, with many people speculating about what happened.

This is a typical locked-room disappearance case, but people are more concerned about who is behind it, the purpose of George’s disappearance, and whether it’s a financial sche.

After listening to Jess’s account, Ling Feng nodded and asked, "You know George’s address, right?"

"I’ve heard of it, but I don’t know the exact house number. I can help you check." Jess replied.

"Then check. No need for more words, I trust you can co up with a reason, right?" Ling Feng asked with a smile.

Jess nodded, took out his phone, found a number, and dialed it.

After connecting, he said to the person on the other end, "I need George Gick’s address."

The person asked why he wanted it, and Jess said, "A friend of mine is a private detective and wants to solve George’s disappearance case for the reward!"

The person didn’t ask further and gave an address.

After listening, Jess hung up and told the address to Ling Feng.

"Very good!"

Ling Feng nodded approvingly, and asked with a smile, "How did you co up with the idea of a private detective?"

"There already are private detectives interested in this case. The police have also issued a clue reward. Just find George Gick, and you can get a bonus!" Jess said.

"I see!"

Ling Feng nodded, understanding the situation.

After that, he didn’t ask further but thought for a mont and said to Jess, "You’ve done well, and I will definitely pay the reward, but things aren’t over yet. Now go downstairs, find a car, and take

to George’s house!"

"Alright, I’ll make the arrangents."

Although Jess was forcibly brought by Ling Feng, he had long surrendered to Ling Feng’s powerful aura, so he had no objections whatsoever and agreed to whatever Ling Feng said.

Soon, he called a car, told the driver to go ho on his own, and drove Ling Feng away from the hotel, heading directly to George Gick’s house!

It was already early morning, and there were no cars on the streets. Jess drove fast and reached the villa on the outskirts of town in just over ten minutes.

After parking, he specifically looked at the house number and turned to Ling Feng, "Sir, this is the place!"

"Hmm."

Ling Feng nodded, initially expecting the house to be cordoned off with police tape or sothing, but there was nothing like that.

After thinking it over, he understood. Since it’s just a missing person case, not a murder, there wasn’t a need to seal the scene.

He took out a bundle of US Dollars from his bracelet and handed it to Jess, "Here is your reward!"

"....."

Having been beaten up, taken back to the hotel for questioning, returning ho unhard was already good enough, but to receive a reward of several tens of thousands of US Dollars?

Seeing the money in Ling Feng’s hands, Jess was montarily stunned.

"I don’t lack money; you did well, so here’s a bit extra for you. No need to be so shocked!"

Ling Feng smiled and put the money directly in Jess’s arms, opened the door, and got out of the car.

He didn’t bother with what Jess was thinking and straight away stepped to the villa’s entrance.

It was a standalone building, surrounded by similar villas, but there was so distance between each.

Ling Feng knew there were many caras around focusing on him, but he didn’t care. He went to the door, pushed it open, and walked in.

Seeing this made Ling Feng pause for a mont.

Extending his Divine Sense, he discovered there was already soone inside!

Soone had entered the house before, which explained why the door wasn’t locked.

Seeing soone inside searching with a small flashlight, Ling Feng silently chuckled and walked in.

This person must have co to investigate George’s disappearance—either a private detective or soone bold enough to try for the reward.

Ling Feng didn’t intend to disturb them, using his own thods to search for clues, but found the house was in disarray. It was unclear if this person was searching or if soone else had been here before and ssed up the scene.

He believed this wasn’t how the house originally looked; if sothing happened on the night George mysteriously disappeared, the neighbors would have heard sothing.

So Ling Feng lost his interest in searching and used his Divine Sense to scan the villa’s underground but found only a basent without any valuable items.

He withdrew his Divine Sense, entered the living room silently, and sat on George’s sofa.

The person continued searching, completely unaware soone had entered and was observing them.

Ling Feng was ready to use this person as a breakthrough, so he sat down and patiently waited, wanting to see when they would finish and then make a move to control them!

Unexpectedly, the person was quite patient, searching for quite a while, checking all the rooms upstairs and downstairs, and still hadn’t finished after almost an hour.

Ling Feng suddenly thought of changing his plan.

If this person was so patient, it ant they had no leads!

Otherwise, why be so careful?

If they were as clueless as Ling Feng, it was really a problem!

Just as he was thinking, the person suddenly ca down from the upstairs, paused at the staircase, and lightly sighed.

Ling Feng didn’t need Divine Sense to see the person, realizing it was a slender woman!

She was dressed in black tight-fitting clothes, her chest bulging, waist slim, with extra-long legs, looking perfectly explosive!

Curious about who this woman was, Ling Feng didn’t hesitate and pressed the switch on the wall!

"Swish!"

The lights suddenly turned on, and the woman froze, her palm flashed with a cold light, and the bulb that had just lit for less than a second was imdiately shattered!
