Chapter 1733: Chapter 1732: Information About the Skull

It was getting late, so the two got up, washed up, and then sat down for breakfast.

At the sa ti, Chen Fei said to Ling Feng, "I still have to go to the office to check things out, yesterday’s matter hasn’t been resolved yet!"

"Hmm, I understand!"

Ling Feng nodded and then asked, "Then you go to work, I’ll stay here, and I’ll study the old man’s diary!"

"Okay!"

Chen Fei smiled and then said, "I’ll find it for you in a bit!"

"No need, you just washed up, you should stay fresh and clean. Just tell

where it’s kept, and I’ll go find it myself!" Ling Feng said.

"That works too, grandpa’s things are all in a black suitcase, on the third shelf in the basent." Chen Fei said.

"Got it!"

Ling Feng nodded and then said, "If nothing unexpected happens today, I still have dinner with the people from the Security Bureau tonight, you should co back early, and we can go together!"

"Alright!"

Chen Fei smiled and nodded.

After breakfast, they shared a romantic goodbye kiss. Ling Feng watched her leave and get in the car, then turned back to the house and went straight to the basent.

Upon opening the door and entering, a faint musty sll ca from inside, indicating that no one had been there for a long ti.

This place was used to store unused items, but it was not ssy; everything was arranged neatly and orderly.

So Ling Feng quickly found the shelf and took out the black suitcase from above.

He opened the suitcase and found several thick diaries and went back upstairs.

For the rest of the morning, Ling Feng opened the diary in the living room and entered the world recorded by Chen Fei’s grandfather.

Even reading in a skipping manner through the large volu of text, he spent the entire morning on it.

There were dozens of records about the Crystal Skull, all quite concentrated in content.

After organizing, Ling Feng gained brand new insights into the Crystal Skull’s matters.

The person recorded in the diary was nad Joseph, an archaeology enthusiast, and his father was a well-known archaeology expert in Arican academia at the ti.

With such a background, he naturally had more opportunities to get in touch with matters concerning the Crystal Skull.

The content was complicated, and Ling Feng sorted through it and gained a lot. The Crystal Skulls had already been discovered, having all appeared more than a hundred years ago. Afterward, they dispersed across various places, with a total of seven eventually being found since the first one appeared.

According to Joseph’s description, the seven skulls each contained different energies, including ti, space, spirit, and comprehension. Obtaining these powers could allow a person to surpass ordinary human limits.

The one Ling Feng acquired could enable a person to rapidly comprehend languages. This ability could be inherited and was not exclusive to one person.

In other words, as long as the skull Ling Feng held was acquired by soone else, they could obtain this ability too.

However, not all skulls were like this; for instance, the one with Petau was indeed empty, containing not a trace of energy.

According to Joseph’s account, that skull was obtained by soone nad Gyllenhaal.

This person later gathered all seven skulls and absorbed the energy within them!

However, from that point on, this person vanished and never appeared again in docunted records in Arica.

But Joseph believed that this Gyllenhaal person didn’t die but, after obtaining extraordinary powers, lived incognito in another form of existence in the world.

Unfortunately, Joseph had no evidence to support this hypothesis.

Reading up to here, Ling Feng’s heart skipped a beat, thinking that if Gyllenhaal was truly alive, he might encounter him soday in the future!

This wasn’t idle thinking but rather a premonition.

After finishing, recalling that he also had a skull, Ling Feng put down the diary and took out the box from his bracelet.

Taking out the skull, Ling Feng didn’t hesitate and directly infused it with spiritual power, subsequently finding the mysterious energy contained inside.

He breathed a sigh of relief and thought it was fortunate that this one wasn’t empty, indicating that the energy within it could also be inherited.

Filled with excitent, Ling Feng quickly absorbed the energy and integrated it into his spiritual power.

Soon, he felt his senses becoming exceptionally sharp!

This skull represented the spirit, and as the energy was absorbed, Ling Feng’s spiritual power received a substantial boost. His Divine Sense, which initially could only extend within a thousand-ter range, suddenly beca much stronger!

Once he finished absorbing the energy, Ling Feng closed his eyes and unfurled his Divine Sense!

He imdiately felt as if he was on a lightspeed spaceship, scanning through half the county in an instant!

Countless street and indoor scenes flashed by in a mont, the coverage of his Divine Sense exceeded five thousand ters!

"Wow, this is amazing!"

Ling Feng inwardly rejoiced, then felt that simply expanding the range was not satisfying enough, so he directly infiltrated his Divine Sense into the ground!

He discovered that his Divine Sense, which originally couldn’t traverse through dense materials, could now penetrate nearly a thousand ters underground!

In other words, whatever lay a thousand ters beneath his feet, whether rock or soil, he could see it!

This ability far surpassed Li Yun’er, so he wouldn’t need to ask her for help in finding things in the future.

Satisfied but ambitious, while Ling Feng was feeling jubilant, he also thought of the other five abilities and decided in his heart: It seems I must visit Arica when I have ti in the future!

No one would dislike having more good things and useful abilities!

Because the diary couldn’t record what happened after the old man’s passing, Ling Feng wanted to know what happened after Joseph returned to Arica, if there were new discoveries, which required him to personally go over there and find his descendants to understand.

Hence, Ling Feng decided to go to Arica again once things settled down dostically.

Anyway, teleportation isn’t laborious; it only takes a few minutes!

In the anti, he could check on Catherine’s situation and see if Rick and the others were settled, bringing them back then, which would lift a burden from his heart!

After making the decision, Ling Feng saw it was already two in the afternoon, so he thought for a bit, searched for the best hotel in Yangjing County on his phone, and prepared to treat the local bureau staff tonight.

The local bureau wasn’t located in Yangjing County town, so including Xu Mu and Wang Youyou, there were only six people altogether.

Ling Feng didn’t book the entire place, just reserved a large private room that could accommodate a dozen people, which was more than enough.

Once the reservation was done, he took out his phone and called Chen Fei.
