Ye Qian nodded, then spoke up: "I didn’t realize you could be like this, squabbling with a kid, you’re quite childish yourself!"
"Not at all, it’s just a joke. Besides, Yang Guang has such a thick skin, how can I not teach him a lesson!" Ling Feng defended himself.
Ye Qian chuckled and didn’t pursue the topic. Instead, she looked at Ling Feng and asked, "Were you wanting to ask about my ti at the headquarters base?"
"Yeah, how did it go, did you gain anything?" Ling Feng inquired.
Ye Qian sighed: "You might be disappointed to hear that after I helped set up the Spirit Severing Formation, a staff mber took
out for a tour, then we had dinner, and after that, I was driven back to the city to find you."
Ling Feng: "..."
Hearing Ye Qian’s words, he wasn’t surprised at all.

He deliberately raised his voice, intending for Yang Guang, who was inside, to hear it.
But then Chen Yan chuckled, "Don’t be in a hurry, co in and we’ll talk!"
Ling Feng hesitated: "Is that appropriate?"
The two girls weren’t close to him, and as a man entering their room late at night, it didn’t seem quite right.
Yet, Chen Yan didn’t seem to mind at all, and with a smile, she said, "It’s fine, we just got back from shopping and haven’t prepared for bed yet, there’s nothing inappropriate!"
"Alright then."
Hearing this, Ling Feng stepped into the room.
Upon entering the living room, only Ye Qian was visible. Yang Guang was nowhere to be seen. Ling Feng paused, then asked, "Where’s that guy?"
"He ran to the bedroom when he heard you were coming!" Ye Qian said with a laugh.
Ling Feng was speechless, thinking to himself, on my turf, where can you possibly run to? Even if you climbed to the sky, I’d pull you back down!
So he stepped to the bedroom door and reached out to push it open!
But the door was locked from the inside!
Ling Feng was not pleased, he said coldly, "Hey, do you really plan to squat here? Co out now, or I won’t be polite!"
"Stay away, I’m not sleeping with you!" Yang Guang shouted from inside the room.
Ling Feng was speechless, "It’s not up to you, co out imdiately, or I’ll kick the door open!"
"Go ahead and kick it, you’ll have to pay for it if you break it!" Yang Guang shouted back.
"Hey, I just don’t believe this!"
Ling Feng rolled up his sleeves, ready to get to work, but Chen Yan quickly ca forward to pull him back, "Alright, alright, just sit down for a bit, I’ll go talk to him!"
"This guy’s skin is even thicker than mine, I’ll give you one more chance. If you don’t co out with Chen Yan, I’m bursting in!"
Ling Feng roared and sat back down on the couch.
Seeing the smirk on Ye Qian’s face, he couldn’t help but ask, "What is it?"
"Nothing, just think it’s funny to see you getting worked up over a kid," Ye Qian said.
Ling Feng, feeling helpless, sighed and said, "This guy is too cheeky, really needs proper discipline!"
"Is that so? You don’t have to worry so much, when you go back, I believe Zhou Yi and the others will help you discipline him!" Zhou Qian said aningfully.
Ling Feng was a bit confused and scratched his head, "Really? Are you that sure?"
"Just wait until Yang Guang cos out, you’ll see!" Ye Qian said with a laugh.
While they were talking, Chen Yan ca out of the room, followed by a downcast Yang Guang, and Ling Feng was taken aback at a glance!
Yang Guang was wearing a skirt now!
Ling Feng was utterly baffled, "What the heck, a cross-dresser?"
"What are you talking about, Yang Guang is a girl!" Chen Yan gave him a look.
Ling Feng: "..."
Upon closer inspection, Ling Feng was still puzzled, "This kid is so skinny and dark, even in a skirt looks like a boy!"
"That’s because she was malnourished before, and got tanned by the sun. Give
a month, and I assure you I’ll turn her into a pretty girl!" Chen Yan said with a laugh.
"Uh..."
Ling Feng still found it hard to believe.
But on second thought, this ’kid’ did indeed have fine features, it was only the short hair and dark skin giving off the impression of a boy.
Moreover, Yang Guang’s voice was high-pitched, like a boy who hadn’t hit puberty yet, but if you listened carefully, it was indeed a girl’s voice!

The anger inside Ling Feng instantly vanished as he said with a wry smile, "In that case, it’s no longer appropriate for
to ask her to my room, she can stay with you guys!"
Chen Yan giggled, "Even if you wanted to take her, Zhou Qian and I wouldn’t let you!"
"Fine, she stays here then. Go have a good bath later, you might want to hold off on wearing skirts until after you transform back into a girl. It looks a bit odd now!" Ling Feng said.
"It’s all Chen Yan’s doing, insisting that since she is a girl, she should wear girl’s clothes. Now she does look a bit out of place," Ye Qian said.
