Chapter 100: Chapter 100 A Jade Pendant

Noticing Ling Feng’s gaze, Qian Qian widened her eyes and exclaid, "Hey, what are you looking at!"

She thought Ling Feng was taking liberties with her, but he approached her, staring intently at the Jade Pendant on her chest and asked, "Where did you get this from?"

Because her sleeves were pulled up to her neck when she was lying down earlier, Ling Feng hadn’t seen it.

It was only after she took off her underwear that the Jade Pendant ca out, and Ling Feng saw it.

Qian Qian looked down and glanced at it, "This was left by my grandfather, what do you want with it?"

Ling Feng’s eyes were sowhat excited, the Jade Pendant was creamy white, with several thin lines etched on it, which actually matched the map he had discovered before!

"And where did your grandfather get it from?" Ling Feng continued to ask.

A hint of wariness flashed through Qian Qian’s big eyes, "Why are you asking so much? What’s it to you anyway?"

"Just asking, I think it looks pretty good," Ling Feng swallowed and said.

His words had a double aning, referring to both the Jade Pendant and her impressive chest.

"It’s pretty but I won’t let you see. This is my family heirloom, and my grandfather said it should be passed down from generation to generation!"

Qian Qian snorted, stuffed the Jade Pendant back inside her clothes, and walked out of the inner room without wearing anything underneath.

When Li Yui saw her, she hurriedly got up, "Are you done?"

"Yeah, he said my chest is too big, just changing the bra should fix it," Qian Qian said.

"What?"

Li Yui was montarily stunned and, seeing the bra her cousin was holding, couldn’t help but glare at her!

She thought to herself what a wild girl she was, how could she have no modesty at all, to take out her bra in front of soone else?

Turning her head back to look at Ling Feng, seeing his seemingly amused expression, Li Yui actually felt a bit shy and said blushing, "Thanks for your help, Ling Feng."

"No need to be polite, it was just a little effort," Ling Feng said with a smile.

"Then we won’t bother you anymore, we’re heading back," Li Yui said.

Ling Feng saw the two won out, and then watched as Qian Qian rode away on a motorcycle, twisting the throttle and the roaring engine sounded, taking Li Yui back to her ho.

"That’s so interesting, I wonder where that girl’s ho is, she’s really wild!" Ling Feng shook his head and laughed.

Of the won he had t before, so were gentle and pleasant, others were lively and cheerful, but he had never t anyone as wild as Qian Qian—it was almost like she was a tomboy!

Thinking of this, his thoughts returned to the Jade Pendant, suddenly feeling a sense of strangeness.

Unable to contain his curiosity, he picked up his phone and sent a ssage to Li Yui, asking about Qian Qian’s family and where they were from.

It wasn’t until noon that he got a reply, Li Yui told Ling Feng that Qian Qian’s family was from the neighboring North Mountain township.

Ling Feng knew the place; by the main road, it required a detour from the county town side, but if he went through the big mountain on the west side of Shiliu Village, he would only need to cross a few mountains to reach it.

And that area in North Mountain township was exactly the location of the first point he had discovered after studying the map!

So Ling Feng concluded, "There must be so connection here!"

Unfortunately, a trip to West Mountain township couldn’t be done there and back in a day; crossing the mountains alone would take half a day, plus ti spent looking for clues, two to three days surely wouldn’t be enough, and right now he simply couldn’t spare that ti!

Therefore, he could only put the matter aside for now. When he had ti, he would make a trip to North Mountain township to find Qian Qian—there might be an unexpected discovery.

After lunch, Ling Feng went out to the village committee office. He hadn’t seen her all morning and was curious, so he decided to check on what she was up to.

However, the gate was locked, and no one was ho!

It looked like they’d probably gone to town for a eting again.

Ling Feng had no choice but to head back ho, but before he even reached his front door, his phone started ringing.

It was Mo Jiaolan calling. Ling Feng felt like it had been several days since they last spoke, so he quickly answered, "What’s the matter, Jiaolan?"

"It’s bad, Yuhe’s in trouble!" Mo Jiaolan said urgently.

"Hmm?" Ling Feng was stunned, then asked, "What happened? Did she run away from ho again?"

"No, she, she’s been kidnapped!"

Upon hearing this, Ling Feng’s heart skipped a beat and he imdiately asked, "What happened? How do you know she’s been kidnapped?"

"Soone saw her being forcefully pulled into a car!" Mo Jiaolan explained.

"How could this happen? Have you called the police yet?" Ling Feng grew anxious and quickly inquired.

"Not yet. My uncle says this matter isn’t simple. The car accident he had before was a set-up, and now it’s targeted at Yuhe. He’s afraid reporting it to the police will anger the other party. Ling Feng, what do you think we should do?" Mo Jiaolan asked with a sob in her voice.

After all, she was a young girl. Despite having experienced quite a bit, she was at a loss when sothing happened to soone close to her.

Listening to this, Ling Feng quickly tried to console her, "Don’t panic, I’ll co to the county town to find you right away. We’ll talk when we et!"

After hanging up the phone, he hurriedly ran back ho, started his three-wheeler, and left Shiliu Village.

On the road, Ling Feng wondered who would be so bold as to target the wealthiest person in Ping County one after another. It didn’t seem to be for money either!

Thinking of Chen Yuhe being kidnapped, he felt a tornting anxiety, silently praying that the girl would be okay.

There had been a slight estrangent between them because of her agreent to marry the coal mine owner’s son. Since then, they had lost contact. Now that this had happened, Ling Feng had already put that matter out of his mind.

His only thought now was to find her as soon as possible!

He rushed to Junlin Hotel. Mo Jiaolan was already waiting for him in the car. Ling Feng tossed his three-wheeler into the yard, pulled open the car door and asked, "Any new updates?"

"Nothing yet. It’s been two hours since the incident, and we’ve heard nothing," Mo Jiaolan said with teary eyes, shaking her head.

Ling Feng, feeling sorry for her, comforted, "Don’t be scared, I believe Yuhe will be okay. Where should we go now?"

"I don’t know, my mind is all over the place," Mo Jiaolan shook her head.

"Then let’s go to Chen Gang’s place. If the people who took Yuhe are after sothing, they’ll definitely contact him!" Ling Feng said with a grave tone.

"Okay!"

With a newfound resolve, Mo Jiaolan imdiately started the car and drove towards the villa district in the eastern suburbs.

When they arrived outside Chen Gang’s villa, they saw that quite a few people had already gathered, all with tense expressions, clearly Chen Gang’s n.

Ling Feng also saw Li Bao’s face in the crowd. Their eyes t, and Li Bao imdiately turned away.

Mo Jiaolan led him into the villa where they saw Chen Gang with his brows furrowed, seated on the couch, while Mo Wen had tears reddening her eyes, still wiping them away incessantly.

Seeing her niece arrive, Mo Wen stood up and approached, "Jiaolan, do you think Yuhe will be okay?"

"She won’t be, she definitely won’t be in trouble!" Mo Jiaolan quickly embraced her aunt, insisting comfortingly.

Ling Feng stepped forward to the couch and looked at Chen Gang, "General Chen, do you have any enemies or competitors outside?"
