Every magician has a special space - "Nirvana". The presence of this space is what distinguishes an ordinary person from a magician. In "Nirvana" there is the "Warp" and therefore the whole power of a magician. This is the main and the only factor determining whether a person is able to beco a magician or not.
As you know, the "Warp" is shrouded in chains, in other words - "Barriers". When a magician breaks one of the "Barriers", one chain cracks and rings loudly. After a while, that chain breaks and it ans the magician has completely breached one "Barrier".
Evan had experienced sothing similar before, and now again he could hear the chains rattling inside him. The ringing was very loud and eerie, as if it was coming from hell, and the chains themselves were forged in the abyss.
Evan's consciousness was in a strange space with a snow-white void transforming into infinite darkness. There was nothing in that space but a giant black lion. It was sleeping quietly in the center of the black magic circle.
At the edge of the magic circle was a tall pillar wrapped in many black chains. They were the ones that were making that terrifying crackling sound.
Whoosh.
The black lion slowly opened its deep, ruby eyes. In that second, Evan disappeared from that strange space and found himself back in reality.
Evan was in a bad state, it was almost impossible to continue fighting with such wounds.
Roland had said his last words and was about to leave, showing that their fight was over with his victory. But, suddenly, he felt Evan's aura growing stronger and more terrifying by the second.
Evan opened his athyst eyes and looked calmly at Roland.
In that sa second, Roland experienced a very strange feeling. Evan was lying on the ground, covered in blood, while he was steady on his feet. But, for so reason, it seed to Roland that it wasn't him, but that he was being looked down on. It was nonsense, nevertheless, it was reality.
Evan began to rise from the ground, slowly saying, "You are very strong indeed. Your arrogance is justified, but..."
Tremble. Tremble. Tremble.
The pressure coming from Evan increased manifold and in the next mont, Evan and the black lion simultaneously pronounced:
