Demonic and divine energy could not exist with each other. Evan knew this well and never allowed them to et each other in the sa body. In his past world, most light mages used spells based on divine energy. In contrast, there were demonologists and dark mages.

There was no way Evan would expect this spell to contain both demonic and divine power. Only demon spells and forbidden dark magic spells contained demonic energy. Evan was sure he could easily sense its presence in another spell, but he didn't notice anything. At the last second of his life, he realized why this had happened.

The demonic and divine energies suppressed each other, causing Evan not to notice their presence in the spell. Moreover, the spell itself was not ordinary at all. Evan assud that only spells used by mbers of light organizations would have divine energy. They must have had their own secret techniques and unique spells.

Evan died within seconds. His body couldn't take it, and it was his heart that took the brunt of it. It just burst because of the overload. Evan's blood slowly spilled over the stone floor. From the outside, it might have looked as if soone had killed Evan.

A crackle.

A crackling sound was heard. It ca from Evan's Warp. When the mage died, "Nirvana" did not disappear imdiately. It gradually disintegrated, just as the Warp did.

With each passing second, the cracks in the crimson sphere grew larger and larger, and very soon, it would collapse completely.

Crack.

When "Warp" should have broken into small pieces, the scythe inside the sphere suddenly ca into motion. It had only activated once during the entire ti, during a test at the academy, the rest of the ti, it just hovered inside Evan's Warp.

He knew nothing of the power or nature of this scythe. Last ti it had sohow strangely altered the purple spirit, causing it to transmit the wrong information.

Whoosh.

A dark energy began to emanate from the scythe. More and more of it ca out with each passing second. As cracks ford in the Warp, this darkness was able to escape its limits. It simultaneously held "Warp" back from destruction and slowly consud the entire space.

"Nirvana" was an infinite space, but the darkness emitted by the slash could spread over very far distances.

...

Since Nirvana and Warp were still intact, Evan's consciousness still existed in this world. If not for the strange scythe, he would have died long ago.

"А? Where am I?" Evan muttered, puzzled. He was sure that the contact of the two energies had caused him to be killed, but now he was in so strange place.

.

With each passing second, more and more shards of his mories appeared next to Evan. They all referred to only one subject: the murders.

These were all murders and atrocities Evan had committed in a past life. Millions of people were killed by him, hundreds of thousands of villages and cities were destroyed. Hundreds of counties and dozens of kingdoms were destroyed at his whim.

Many great mages and organizations fell at his hands. During so battles, Evan accidentally destroyed entire settlents, those mories were here as well.

Evan was not surprised, and he did not feel any emotion. After he was reborn, these mories left him only for a short period of ti. During the fight with Abigail, he rembered everything. He did not regret the killing and destruction. That was not his concern, he was only moving toward his goal. The lives of strangers and their fates were of no importance to him.

After an unknown amount of ti, an exceptionally bright shard appeared on the horizon. It was the greatest murder Evan had ever committed.

"Emperor..." Evan muttered slowly.

When Evan fought the emperor, their attacks destroyed the throne room and half the entire empire. It was a battle that changed Evan's forr world forever. On that day, he killed the one whom many believed to be a god.

Evan headed onward with a calm face. He felt like he had been walking for a very long ti, and he had already seen all his mories associated with killing anyone but one.

Unlike all the others, it was dark and frightening. It looked like a shard from a cursed mirror.

The emperor's murder was Evan's last and greatest murder, but the most important murder was another. It changed his whole life and led to the path he's been on ever since.

"My very first murder...the first person I killed was my father," Evan muttered coldly as he looked at the small shard.

He rembered that picture clearly. Evan regretted, he regretted that he was too weak and didn't kill this man much sooner. His father was far from a good man, and at one point, Evan decided he couldn't take it anymore. One night he stuck a knife through his father's heart and went his own way.

"Eh, too bad I was a kid then, and it took quite a while to figure out how to act to survive in this world."

Whooosh.

Suddenly an enormous amount of mories headed toward that black shard. Evan didn't understand what was happening, in an instant, all these mories began to rge into one.

After a while, it was complete.

Evan thought to himself, looking at the result of this procedure. All his mories had turned into a gray blob.. Millions of lives and an infinite amount of agony and suffering were inserted into that blob.
