Vexacion despised common people incapable of magic, but for obvious reasons, he could not get rid of such people. The closer the city was to the capital, the harder it was for common people to get into.
Things were even tougher in the capital. Common people were allowed to live there, but by the order of the Vexacion they had no rights. They could only work for the benefit of the magicians and that was it.
. There were no king`s quotes or his statents, only his attitude toward the common people. But, that was enough to understand how much Vexacion despised them.
Evan did not agree with the king's ideology. In his opinion, it was both unfair and abominable.
Evan thought as he flipped through the next page. The more he read, the more he learned about the powerful organizations. Each one had its own purpose and ideology. But, all of them were after two things-- money and power. That's what everyone was after, though, not just the underground organizations.
After a while, Evan finished reading this book. Now he was experiencing incredible emotions and a great deal of interest was in his eyes. It was all about the last organization he had read about. It was the most powerful and ancient of all those ntioned ones in this book.
