Alto started his work on his newest project, he inputed the licence code generated by the ch designer protocol, it was the sa one he had gotten from the lottery wheel alongside the designer’s eye which happened to be the strangest thing he had gotten from the system.
Alto waited till it was late in the night when no one would enter his room to check on him, he doubted that even the doctors would dare bother a patient by that ti. Despite being told to rest for a full week Alto was hard at work yet again. He logged into his account "The Disciple" on ch Galaxy Wars, he checked if he had any new notifications but it seed there was none. He then proceeded into the virtual designer workshop and entered the generated code of the grade C ch license.
A projection screen appeared before him showing a huge ch and displaying the information.
CH- OPIS MAGNUM
DESIGN NA- OPIS MAGNUM VERSION 3.7
TYPE: LIGHT DIUM CH
DESIGNER: VAX INDUSTRIES
[Grade C ch Licence]
"Vax Industries, I don’t know who that is but it does sound like a big corporation. But it’s a third gen ch and a within the dium weight class, the ch designer protocol really went all out on this one."
Humanity was current at the pinnacle of the fourth generation of ch design, so having a third generation ch design was a great deal as the would cost millions if not tens of millions to even acquire.
Alto started by checking what he could about Vax Industries on the net, he found out that they were surprisingly a big na in the world of ch design in their ti. They were one of the leading forces in ch design during their generation, and they were largely successful at the ti that was till one of their main bases was attracted by a rouge faction of rcenaries, scavengers and exiles who went by the na of the crimson guild. At that ti they were the most dangerous force within human space. But Alto had no interest in that at the mont.
His full attention was on the Opis magnum, any information he could find about it would be useful. He found the file he was looking for and proceeded to learn from it. Apparently the Opis magnum was a light dium ch created for combat purposes only. dium weight class chs were heavier than light weight class chs, they were not as fast but the achieved a stable balance between efficiency, durability and versatility. And they were largely the most used chs class size, the light dium fell on the less heavier side of the dium size because it had slightly reduced weight for a bit more speed.
The Opis magnum like huge, having a small head with no specific design on it, the chest was a bit huge, slightly protruding out. It’s shoulder wide showing that it carries the force to ram through an object in front of it, it’s legs long and bulky, it’s weapon choice was a spear and a small rounded shield. Alto was a bit put off by its design it’s, "Why would they make a ch that was purely a lee fighter? More like a lee abused, no wonder it never got launched globally."
While the ch was tailored for lee users at the ti of its release it did not reach the level of appeal they thought it would with ch pilots. It was not a total loss for the corporation as it’s more competent models managed to overshadow the model, soon they just sold of the design and never used it again.
"Well, best I put this to good use", Alto said with a slight smile as he brought up the spec sheet of the ch and while it did not look terrible it also did not look impressive. Alto suspected the external armour could be improved upon, but upon seeing the internals he was flabbergasted. For so reason the circuitry and wiring were not of standard quality, just as he had thought this would be a long hard work for him.
Alto decided to take a different approach to this project of his not wanting to make the sa mistake of overworking his brain. "I will use three days to work on the internals, another three days on the externals, three more days to fabricate it and test it. If all goes well I’ll be done on the tenth day. I’ll make sure to take breaks while I work too, can’t have my health deteriorated again." Being a ch designer was not an easy task, this he had learnt the hard way but if he managed his ti and got better as he wants, even by a small margin he would co closer to becoming a-- Alto paused and asked himself a serious question.
"What’s my goal here, if I finish this ch design do I go on to the next. Am I going to keep working on virtual chs? I don’t want that, I want to work on real chs, I want to be like the professor. Well known and revered as a ch designer, I’ll be lucky if I even beco a silver seat like her."
Alto recieved a call on his wrist comm device, the number that he saw was new to him. He accepted the call, the face of an old man with a dignified look and wearing a black suit and tie with well combed hair greeted him. Alto was unprepared for a video call but he maintained composure nonetheless.
"Why hello, Mr Alto. This is the MorningStarr bank calling." Even the man’s tone was dignified.
Alto raised a questioning eyebrow, "And you are?"
"Pardon for my rudeness earlier, I am Taselton Howard the manager of the bank. You opened an account with un earlier, am I correct?"
Alto answered with silence.
The man continued. "It’s seems that there has been an issued but it’s not a big one. Apparently due to the amount of money that has entered your account I would suggest you upgrade to the platinum account or preferably gold."
Alto had only just opened a casual account so he had no idea what the old man was saying. He did not know how much mister E had sent and doubted it would be much to warrant upgrading his account. "How much did I receive?"
The man looked very shocked by Alto’s question. "You an you do not have an idea on how much you put into your own bank account just hours after opening it? You are indeed a very interesting custor."
"I think you’re getting this confused." Alto tried to say.
The man cleared his throat and said. "One mont." He then started to tap on the pad he had in hand and shortly after his eyes widened slight, he looked up to Alto and said. "Apologies for the delay sir, the total amount of money sent to your account as of recent is fifteen million darn, then there was another paynt of one hundred and fifteen million five hundred thousand darn."
Alto coight repeatedly, "What the hell."
The man looked up at him in confusion. "Is anything the matter sir?"
Alto responded. "No, I’m fine." Now he was wondering who muster E was and why he was sending such an amount over to him. He had expected nothing less than perhaps forty five to fifty million but instead, "The rich really don’t care how much money they throw around."
"Indeed sir." Said the manager who was still listening. "Would you prefer to be a platinum or a gold custor?"
