ch Galaxy Wars was known as the largest and most popular massive multiplayer ga played across many star systems. Here the majority of people who had no talent to pilot chs were given a chance to experience what it felt like to be in a ch. Even beginner ch pilots played the ga for experience but it was far from the real thing but was closest to realism in a normal battle.

While it did not benefit real ch pilots, it did have a designer account where private ch designers could enter the ga and try to sharpen their skills and perhaps earn a living.

But managing an account cost credits that could was the in ga currency. Alto activated the mory chip withing his wrist comm device after he had returned to his room.

It brought up a start up page, after confirming his identity the application still required him to create a na for his profile. Alto was never big on nas but he knew he had to choose sothing distinct and vague.

After a lot of delegation the na he typed in was "The Disciple". It was nothing special and not too boring. After all the confirmation process had been done, he logged into his designer account. The holographic projection from his wrist comm grew and covered the entire room, it looked similar to a workshop but with very little space.

Before him was a graphical representation of a ch blueprint. It was his first ti seeing a complete blueprint before him, he loved how the ga tried to replicate sothing similar to the real thing as much as possible.

The na on the ch was.

FANWICK-720, DESIGNER- REDSHOT ENTERPRISE.

There was still more information displayed but Alto quickly skimd through it. The ch he knew to be a second generation ch, this was the first era of stable chs. The first generation of chs were degradable and lacking if a basic system model, circuitry and power source.

A beep sounded from his wrist comm and the icon of the ch designer protocol appeared over it. He activated it to see what the problem was or if there was a problem.

The system brought up a mission screen imdiately.

[A mission has been given to the user]

Alto was a bit surprised but he payed attention to the screen.

[Mission: disassemble and reassemble the ch design "FANWICK-720, GENERATION 2 CH, DESIGNER- REDSHOT ENTERPRISE." The task should be completed within 24 earth hours. Reward for completion is 1056 creation points]

Alto raised an eyebrow in shock. The professor had tasked him with the sa but she never said he was on a ti limit. Alto had only ever gone through ch assembly on theory so he never expected this to be anything but easy for him.

"Hey cha, why did you offer a task like this?" Alto asked the ch designer protocol.

It responded shortly after.

[The ch designer protocol will assign tasks to the user, if the conditions are t the user will received the reward]

[It is the goal of the system to create the most capable ch designer]

Alto did not say anything against that, he took it upon himself as a challenge to beco better than he could be now. The first thing he did was observe all the angles of the ch design for an hour, when he felt confident enough he announced it to the system to begin the test.

The wrist comm brought up another image next the original this one was a massive of disassemble tal parts. Alto went over it all, he first decided on where to start with first, after a long ti he decided to choose with the head of the ch, he felt this would be the best part to start with, the. He proceeded to the spine of the ch.

The ch designer protocol had only broken down the original design to a considerable extent that he was becoming confused each ti he selected so parts that did not agree with each other. It felt like working on an expensive jigsaw puzzle.

Alto found himself repeating the sa errors, he constantly put things together and took them apart multiple tis. When things went worse he would even start all over, continuous pangs headaches attacked him.

By the ti Alto was finally getting a hang of it more than twelve hours had passed and he had co to enjoy the exercise. Taking putting together the parts of the ch was becoming easier with each and every try, since he had worked with parts of a ch before, he could tell where so parts belonged.

What saved him even more ti was the fact that there was no external weapon part added to the weapon. It was basically a simplistic design.

By the fifteenth hour Alto could say he had beco able to put the external pieces of the ch together, then ca the hard work being the internal circuitry which had to do with the wiring.

Alto never had any luck when it ca to working with wires but he continued either way, he beca more absorbed with the ch than he had with any other thing. From ti to ti he would steal so quick glances at the original blue print but it only offered a little help.

By the twenty third hour Alto had finished reassembling the ch blueprint. He took his ti to compare it to the original and despite being happy at what he had done, he could not hide the exhaustion he felt from working for so long on the piece of work.

Still when comparing both blueprints he could not help but feel that he had only managed to replicate the a copy of the original. During his ti working on the model he felt like a true ch designer and he hated for that feeling to leave him so quickly.

As the tir for the task reached completion Alto collapsed down on the ground, his face covered in sweat. He was beyond exhaustion but he was pleased by what he had acquired.

Alto was oblivious to what had been happening outside of his room all the ti he had been working on the ch blueprint. Aside from that the professor had expected him to finish understanding how the ch worked in a week and to reassemble it would take another week but Alto challenged by the ch designer protocol had finished the task within a day.
