70 Chapter 70- Lin Mang
"Why are there Zhang clan mbers here? Could it be that these auction houses are owned by them? If so then there is no way I can sell my wares here" The previous owner of this body was just a lowly slave of the clan hence he wasn't very aware of the businesses and the properties that the clan owned.

The guards protecting the place were also from the Lin clan, so there was no issue here. Yang Chen walked up the steps to the store, when one of the guards ner the entrace stood in front of him and blocked his path.
"This is the Lin clan's auction house, what business do you have here?" the guard gave him a look over before asking.
"I'm here to do business with the auction house. Is there sothing wrong?" Yang Chen expressed his intention.
The guard frowned his brows when he heard the man say that he was here to do business. From what he could see, the other party was donned in a black robe from head to toe and had no bag or item with them.
The guard slamd the end of his spear on the ground and said irritably "This is the Lin clan's auction house, it not the place where you can ss around. Go back when I'm still asking you nicely".
His voice was loud and attracted the attention of the other guards too.
Yang Chen was confused, he did not know what set the guard off and why he wasn't allowing him in; nevertheless, he did not want any trouble, especially during a Bazaar where he risked attracting the attention of the Zhang clan.
Yang Chen was just about to turn around and try his luck on so other their auction house when the door of the building was pushed open and a chubby man with a pot round belly walked out.
"What is it Lin Ting, why are making so much noise? Didn't I tell you that I am in the middle of a business" the chubby man asked the guard confronting Yang Chen.
"I am terribly sorry, Elder Lin Mang. But this person here tried to ss around with our Lin clan so I was just trying to make him leave. I'm sorry if I was being loud" the guard who was addressed as Lin Ting cupped his hands towards the chubby man and apologised.
Yang Chen who didn't expect the guard to accuse him out of nowhere, was imdiately annoyed.
"What do you an ssing around? I told you I ca here to do business. If the Lin clan doesn't want to do business with , then there are other auction houses that would".
"You…" the guard was furious but Yang Chen did not stay to entertain him, he turned around and was just about to leave when the chubby man called out to him.
"This mister, why are you in so much hurry to leave. The Lin clan always welcos anyone who wants to do business with us. If you don't mind asking, what item is mister trying to sell?".
Yang Chen halted his steps glanced at the chubby man sideways and replied "Demonic Beast Carcasses… I wonder if the Lin clan is interested in buying them?".
"Hoh?!" the chubby man made an amused noise and glanced at Yang Chen's apparel carefully. He then gave a smile and nodded his head "Of course, we buy the corpses of the demonic beasts too. However, the Lin clan auction house is only interested in the carcasses of the powerful demonic beasts. We do not do transactions for anything lower than the level eight star battle apprentice demonic beasts".
The man explained.
"That is not a problem" replied Yang Chen. What a joke, he had the corpses of the demonic beats in the level of battle masters inside his space ring, so what was a re battle apprentice class compared to that?
"Hmm" seeing the black robed person exude so much confidence, the chubby man couldn't help but get curious.
"In that case, will this mister bring the corpse of the demonic beats through the back door or do you want a staff from our auction house to go with and appraise the corpse where you kept it".
"There is no need for that, I have it right here with " Yang Chen shook his head.
"What nonsense!! I was right, this fellow is here to ss around. Elder Lin Mang does not need to enter tain him. Allow to scurry this fellow away from here" Lin Ting who had listened enough, stepped forward and was just about to use his spear to attack yang chen when the forr hurriedly stopped him.
"Stop… Lin Ting. Who gave you the permission to do as you want? This is the auction house and I'm the head here. You are relieved from your duty for the ti being. Returned back to the manor and reflect on your actions" the chubby man ordered.
"What?" Lin Ting was in a disbelief he couldn't understand why he was being berated like that when he was just doing his duty.
"Not going yet?" When he saw the eyes of the elder turn solemn, Lin Ting dejectedly left.
After the guard walked away, the chubby man turned towards Yang Chen and spoke with a smile.
"This mister, why don't you co inside, we can discuss the matters of business sitting inside the shade and drinking so tea".
