The rcenary system had a wide variety of summons that he could pick from. Each summon was suited for a different task, and depending on the mission, he could pick out the summon he wanted to carry it out.
Then there was also the factor of points. The rcenary system operates using Greed Points as currency. Each rcenary has a value based on their strength, skill, and utility.
Low-cost rcenaries may be foot soldiers or scouts, while high-tier summons include elite warriors, rogue cultivators, or monstrous beings capable of delivering what they promised.
"I see, I now have a better idea on how to use this option. Good, it can be quite useful" Yang Chen finished browsing the option before looking at the space ring on his right hand.

At a glance, the plate appeared extrely ordinary with a smooth surface and nothing special about it. However, when Yang Chen inserted his battle energy into it, the plate started wiggling disturbingly.
The next second, his consciousness was pulled out and he was shocked to find the plate levitating in front of him.
Before he could question what was going on, sharp appendages ca out of the plate’s surface and dug into his skin, absorbing his blood.
Reacting swiftly, he tried to swat the item away. However, he soon realised that it was useless. All his attacks or resistance had no impact on the plate whatsoever.
Now that he had reached the Battle Overlord realm, he was far more powerful than when he got the ring. Yet after a few useless attempts, the feeling he was getting from the plate was that of an ant trying to move a mountain.
Unable to do anything, he could only let the plate do whatever it was doing. Thankfully, after sucking his blood, the thing ca to a weird standstill. The disturbing appendages disappeared and the thing returned back into being a plate.
As Yang Chen was observing this peculiar thing, two words mysteriously appeared on its black glossy surface.
"Grand Elder?!"
He read the words and tilted his head. What was this plate, and why were those two words written in it? Contemplating for a while, he ca to an answer. Could it be that the mysterious old man this space ring belonged to was the grand elder of so faction?
This was the only plausible answer. At the sa ti, the demonic cultivator he had t back in the ancient domain surfaced in his mind. Given by the way the latter looked so shocked after seeing the ring, the mysterious old man definitely had to be so powerful figure in their faction.
Still, if that was the case, why was that old man dead in front of his body? What had actually happened back there? Amon was similarly lost in contemplation.
"There is no point in worrying about it. What’s gonna co will co" Yang Chen focused his attention on the more important things at hand. Naly, the battle skills he got from the Martial Arts Hall.
