Amon urged, even pushing his body practically. Yang Chen had no choice but to go through with it. He had heard about battle companions, demonic beasts who have ford a soul connection with a practitioner.
Once a soul connection is ford the practioner and the demonic beast beco a companion of sorts helping each other and fighting together.
Suppose in a situation where one is fighting against their opponent and is at a back foot of sorts, they can summon their battle companion and quickly turn the situation into a 2V1 for the other party.
Thus pulling them into a disadvantage. There are many other advantages to having a battle companion like using it as a mount or as a guardian when you are at a critical juncture of your cultivation and so on.
That being said, not just anyone is able to form a soul connection with a demonic beast. As forming a soul connection ant that the life and death of the beast is controlled by the practitioner, it is a form of trust and complete faith that the beast has towards you.
It is uncommon for demonic beasts to establish a soul connection with a practitioner. However, there are techniques and battle skills designed to forcibly create such connections, particularly in scenarios where the demonic beast is still in its infancy or significantly weakened state.
In such a state, the beast can neither resist nor deny the soul connection.
Yang Chen bit his thumbs and quickly brought out so of his essence blood before willing it towards the demonic beast. When the blood touched the little tiger’s body, its body suddenly started glowing and an intense aura that was not any weaker than his own, emanated from the tiger.
"Battle Grandmaster?!! But how could that be? It’s just a cub" Yang Chen was astonished when he felt the level of the aura released by the Demonic beast.
The next second, an intense surge of excitent like that of finding a treasure washed over his body. At first, he didn’t harbour much expectation for this demonic beast companion after all even if it had the potential to reach the Battle Tyrant stage when it matured, it was still an infant now.
This ant that in terms of battle prowess, it didn’t provide him with any imdiate aid. On the contrary, it would need him to protect it to grow. And besides, a practitioner can only form a soul connection with one beast companion at a ti.
Unless that beast died or the practitioner himself released the soul connection, they wouldn’t be able to take another beast companion. It was because of all of this reason that he was not so enthusiastic about obtaining a battle companion.
However, who would have known that in just its cub state, the demonic beast would be this strong?

The Flacrest White Tiger’s body shone with an intense light, this was the sign that the beast was trying to resist his essence blood. However, since it was severely injured, it was unable to resist for long.
The intense light disappeared and his essence blood entered inside the beast’s body whereupon a soul connection slowly started forming within it.
Yang Chen could feel his familiarity with the beast increasing and a connection of sorts with him holding the reins, forming inside his own soul.
The transformation didn’t take much ti and before long, the soul connection finished forming. Almost at the sa ti, a weak growl also ca from the demonic beast’s mouth.
Now that this little tiger had beco his battle companion, he could sowhat understand what it was saying. Quickly, he took out a few tier 2 healing pills and fed them to the tiger.
Holding it in his hand, he finally saw its full appearance. Covered in fur as pure as freshly fallen snow, the little tiger’s body shone with an indistinct light. Its small fra even when a cub, exuded an air of latent strength, hinting at the formidable power that will unfold once it matures.
Its form was majestic and its two eyes, like two fiery orbs, showed an intelligence that betrayed its youthful appearance.
What set this little fellow apart from the other tiger type demonic beasts was the distinctive stripes that danced with a fiery glow on its coat. These stripes shimred with a warm shade of golden and yellow and gave an illusion of ever shifting pattern.
"The stripes are the unique characteristics of the Flacrest White Tiger race" Amon ntioned "It looks like it will be able to recover with so rest after you feed it those pills".
Yang Chen put the little tiger down in a corner not far away from him and started doing the thing he set out to do initially.
One by one, he brought out all the ingredients from his space ring and organised them in the way he needed them. Fortunately, with the Sunfire petal now sitting in his inventory, he had all the ingredients he needed.
Flip... with a wave of his sleeve, he brought out the pill recipe and injected it with his soul energy. Imdiately, all the information and insight within the pill recipe flowed inside his mind.
It took so ti for him to completely sort out all the information, but once he was done, soul energy from his soul realm gushed out like a wave and quickly covered the cauldron and the ingredients.
The refinent began the mont, a pale blue fire ca to life. Ti passed by and as Yang Chen got busy in his refinent, he forgot the flow of ti.
Not far away from him, the little tiger’s tiny eyes stared at the young man with a human like intelligence. At so unknown point in ti, it regained its consciousness and was now observing its human partner.
