The change in the temperature was not a gradual increase but an imdiate change and nearly brought Lin Dan who had a smile plastered to his face all this ti, on his knees.
Lin Huiyin fared much better; however, she needed a little ti to adjust herself to the heat of the second floor. And so, she found herself a good place and started cultivating.
Lin Dan did the sa. Yang Chen on the other hand had no problem, he could feel the flas surging inside his body. However, he did not feel any pressure nor did he have the need to sit down and cultivate like others.
Nevertheless, he nonchalantly found a place not far away from Lin Huiyin and observed his surroundings. Yan Zhuo was not here and as for the participants from the Zhang clan, they were... as expected looking over here.

’It looks like the showdown will be on the third floor’.
It was as he had guessed. After cultivating for a while, these people stood up from their place all at once and headed towards the third floor.
Yang Chen glanced at their departing figure before placing his attention back on his body. The flas here were three tis more potent than what it was on the first floor causing him to accumulate experience points even faster.
The bar that showed his next level up, was already filled one tenth. If he just sat here for a couple more hours, Yang Chen had no doubts that he would level up soon.
Three Star Battle Master, it was a level that would have otherwise taken him days of hunting Demonic Beasts to reach. However, inside this Infernal Battle Tower, he could just reach that level in a few hours.
So what if... "If the effects of the flas are already so good on the second floor, I wonder what kind of progress I would make if I climb higher" Yang Chen couldn’t help but smile in anticipation.
Just as he was thinking that, from the corner of his eyes he saw, Lin Huiyin standing up from her place and heading towards the passage to the next floor.
"Hup!!" Swiftly, Yang Chen propped himself up and started walking too.
Lin Huiyin glanced at him with her brows knit for a second before shifting it away imdiately.
Lin Dan on the other hand... "Dammit as if I will lose to you" forcibly broke himself from his cultivation and followed along.
It appeared that he was competing with Yang Chen who did not even care about it in the slightest. That being said, Lin Dan was sweating a lot. Clearly, he wasn’t completely accustod to the heat of the second floor but was still attempting to ascend to the next floor.
While drawing the envy of the masses on the second floor, Yang Chen, Lin Huiyin and Lin Dan stepped towards the third floor.
The mont the three of them ca to the next floor, their eyes widened in surprise at the sa ti. The third floor of the tower was even bigger than the second floor and the strength of the infernal flas here was quintuple tis stronger than on the previous floor.
However, what took them by surprise, wasn’t its large size but the fact that the floor looked completely different from the one they climbed up from.
The Third Floor of the tower looked like a volcanic area with lava flowing through the cracks in the ground. The ceiling couldn’t be seen because of the black fiery clouds looming overhead.
Participants were seated atop large rocks while cultivating fervently. There were not many people here, perhaps not even one foruth of the number that was on the second floor.
This goes to show how difficult it was to ascend to the third floor. The participants that could reach here were the geniuses of their clan who had enjoyed special training materials and privileges since young.
As Yang Chen looked around, he noticed that the youth nad Yan Zhuo wasn’t here either. There were also a couple of other people missing like that guy from the Liu clan that Lin Mang ntioned about.
They must have already ascended to the fourth floor, which ant that they had already t the condition to pass the entrance test. This left only the participants from this floor, who had the potential to climb to the next floor and them.
That said, Lin Dan seed to be struggling. The mont he arrived on the third floor, he was forced to kneel on the ground and hurriedly assu a diative position.
He had not even acclimated to the infernal flas on the second floor yet he climbed to the third floor out of sheer stubbornness and not wanting to lose out against Yang Chen.
This was an extrely foolish move that caused him more harm than good. Due to ignoring the cautions of Elder Han Xuan, Lin Dan’s body was showing signs of bursting into flas just like those people they had seen outside the tower.
If he was not careful, the flas might even destroy his cultivation.
’This fool’ Looking at that state of his, Yang Chen couldn’t help but shake his head.
Next, he shifted his attention to Lin Huiyin who grit her teeth and silently endured the baptism of the flas. Although her condition was far better than Lin Dan, her breathing was in disorder.
She needed to cultivate to make her body acclimate to the level of flas. However, just as she took a few steps forward, a couple of figures suddenly blocked their path.
Clearly, these people were waiting for them.
