Chapter 649: High-Crit Fire Mage

Lu Li was very insistent about paying them back even though nobody saw the need for him to. If Lu Li wanted to pay everyone back for the Lava Essence, they wouldn’t dare to say no.

However, in his current financial situation, he couldn’t afford paying everyone back for the large amount of Lava Essence he was borrowing. Therefore, all he could do was owe them a favor and pay them back when he earned more money.

Azure Sea Breeze thought that Lu Li’s thinking was too feminine and girly.

The newcors who had recently joined such as Flying Fish Hater and Jaweika were more than happy for Lu Li to pay them back, even though they didn’t express their thoughts out loud.

The leader of Ruling Sword was reasonable!

They weren’t concerned about losing out on so money by giving their Lava Essence to Lu Li. Rather, they were more afraid that the leaders of Ruling Sword were selfish, corrupt and abused their power to take resources from their mbers for their own gains.

Because Lu Li had acted in such a fair and honest manner, the new mbers let their guard down and fully trusted his leadership to provide for the guild and the rest of their gaming careers. No one wanted to work hard for an organization while being in fear of being stabbed in the back.

"Crap, this bastard has two tentacles."

When they finally ca across the tentacle monster, World’s Best Friend shrieked and was almost dragged away.

Luckily his teammates had very fast reactions and pulled him back before it was too late.

The two-ard monster was very strong and had taken a while for Lu Li to defeat by himself.

Now, they had strength in numbers, as well as a Main Tank and Healers, so it proved to be a piece of cake for them.

They successfully killed it without much trouble.

"Two Lava Essence!"

"There’s also a Silver grade glove; it’s a level 40 Fire Mage equip which has a 30% burn effect. Looks pretty good!" World’s Best Friend shouted.

"I want... I want..." Fat Monkey cried.

He was a Crit Fire Mage, so his DPS was much higher than the average Mage at the sa level. If he gained an additional 30% increase in his burn damage, he would be overpowered.

Did it matter if it was only silver grade? Even if the stats were trash, he would be willing to throw away his level 30 Golden grade Glove for the 30% additional damage.

His equipnt the was pure DPS with no survivability.

"What the hell Fat Monkey? Your voice is so goddamn annoying. Whatever, I won’t bother fighting you for it," Nuo Yu said.

Nuo Yu was also a Fire Mage and good friends with Fat Monkey, so he didn’t mind letting him take it. Besides, he could borrow it anyti he wanted.

"Good job everyone; kill every monster in sight. Since we’re in a secret area, there’re lots of good loot," Lu Li said.

"I mined an Hematite! Wow, I didn’t know you could mine here!" soone else shouted happily before Fat Monkey could suppress his excitent.

Mining?

How could they have forgotten about mining in the secret area? Fortunately, they had gotten here quite recently and they still had a lot of ti.

Hematites were typically found in dormant volcanoes or near mountains due to volcanic activity. They crystallized under high heat and precipitated to form a rare, reddish ore. These ores were very useful in repairing high-level equipnt, but because of their rarity, they often fluctuated in price.

Although this place was very good for Miners, the environnt was limited in herbs and plants.

There were only so moss-like plants that were resistant to the high heat. However, without a recipe, no one knew how these could be used in herbalism or alchemy.

After killing several hundred Tentacle Monsters, they stopped appearing and the party decided to leave.

They had gained valuable resources including experience, rare materials, enhancent stones, synthetic stones and even skill books. Their loot from today would normally take days to farm in the wild.

"Ok, if we encounter anymore monsters, ignore them, because we need to save enough ti for the boss," Lu Li instructed.

"We only have 20 or so people. Will we be able to defeat the boss?" World’s Best Friend was worried.

"That should be enough. The boss won’t be higher than Lv50 and it’s only a Felguard." Lu Li was quite confident because of the Boss’ identity.

The Felguard were powerful demon warriors with high armor, damage and HP. When they were introduced into Dawn, they were described as "Giant monsters wielding burning weapons that ca from the depths of hell. They use their cruel magic to turn their enemies into ashes."

In reality, the Felguard were one of the lower ranked soldiers in the Burning Legion and served as front-line troops.

As the weakest troop in the Burning Legion, they co in large numbers and a fraction of them were used to train Felhounds.

However, this was no reason to underestimate them. They were still very capable of splitting their enemies in half with their axe.

These monsters were capable of using magic and also possessed strong physical attacks. In his past life, Lu Li had encountered Felguards many tis, so he had a clear understanding of how to defeat them.

"Wow, such a big tree! Is this the famous World Tree?" The first thing anyone noticed when they co here was the giant tree that sat in the middle of the map.

"I feel like it’s even bigger than Teldrassil in Kalimdor. Who knows what aweso loot and drops it has in stall for us? The drops are so much better in the secret area compared to dungeons."

Everyone was drooling just thinking about the resources they were about to obtain. They were extrely grateful that Lu Li had brought them here.

This group of 20 or so players were extrely lucky. The leaders of other guilds may not have even heard about secret areas. Not only did these mbers of Ruling Sword know about one, but they even had the opportunity to experience it for themselves.

"Wipe off your drool; we have to kill the Felguard boss first," Lu Li said, interrupting their daydream.

"Whoever dares to stand in our way will be crushed to pieces!" Azure Sea Breeze shouted eagerly as he pounded his chest with his axe. His eyes were blood-shot from being too excited.

"Start by killing the smaller monsters in the area. Beard Stubble, draw the aggro, but don’t pull too many," Lu Li ordered.
