Chapter 1682: Inheritance

Did Demitrian have any excuses to refuse?
He couldn’t help but think of the professor that taught him Spirit Casting. He was an old Warlock with a foot in the grave. He saved a young Demitrian from a beast and raised him from that day.
He taught Demitrian how to survive, how to study and ntored him to beco a Warlock.
Then finally ca the day when the old Warlock decided to teach his secret and hoped to share it with his adopted child and student. He didn’t hide the secret regarding the taboo of Spirit Casting, and the age in which everyone was hunting Spirit Casters.
Demitrian wasn’t a brave person and turned away cowardly.
He refused the old Warlock and depicted that he only wanted to study the wonders of Shadow Magic. However, once he t a plateau in his power, he had no choice but to ask for help and slowly realised how great the power of spirit casting was.
He proactively inherited the old Warlock’s legacy and beca a Spirit Caster.
When the old Warlock died it was during the process of Spirit Casting and he sealed his spirit into an equipnt in despair. There were countless Spirit Casters like him who were all in there.
Demitrian could often hear the mutters of previous Spirit Casters from that equipnt. They didn’t rest in peace even in their deaths.
Sotis, Demitrian would despise the old Warlock.
He thought that the old Warlock cursed his life. There were two possible endings for him, one was hope and the other was despair. If everything proceeds normally, his default ending would be despair. He was destined to beco trapped in an equipnt just like the old Warlock and beco a spirit that never rests in peace.
Now, he had been given hope.
“Believe , only I can continue Spirit Casting’s legacy,” Lu Li didn’t waste his breathe saying unnecessary things and stood on the side with Azure Sea Breeze while waiting for Demitrian’s final decision. The forging room only had the sounds of banging.
The sword sheath took shape slowly and gradually beca the shape in Lu Li’s mory, only without the splendid and surging magical power because it wasn’t spirit casted.
Lu Li waited in anticipation for the Spirit Casting process, and the ability to witness the birth of an Epic level weapon.
The Wind power that Prince Thunderaan accumulated was a ball of pure spirits. It no longer had its original owner’s violence and rage – this was largely dealt with by Spirit Casters. This was why Demitrian was so surprised at the fact that the Book of Ur had such a wise spirit residing in it. Demitrian sealed the wind power into the weapon. First through the surface, then slowly seeped into the power into the weapon bit by bit.
The originally scrap iron sword suddenly had a spirit in it and the whole weapon started to move animatedly. Even the people beside it could feel the power it contained.
The sword finally settled after a long while. “Done,” Demitrian’s wiped his face full of sweat, and happily sighed.
“This is so pretty,” Azure Sea Breeze watched in obsession of this weapon that was to be his.
“Unfortunately, it’s still only an Epic weapon,” Demitrian responded with regret, “If it was a perfect wind elent print then it could even be made into a Demi-God item.”
These were only maybes. The Wind Prince at his peak was not soone that Lu Li and his team could ss with. If he hadn’t fallen, then perhaps it could be stronger than people like Illidan or Malfurion.
“Jesus! The Epic weapon! Quickly! Give it to !” Azure Sea Breeze was overjoyed at the unexpectedly good outco.
Stuff the Demi-God items. He wasn’t even thinking about that. He just wanted a relatively high-end Epic equipnt with good attributes, a trendy appearance, and would give him the strength he needed in an Instance Dungeon. That was it.
Now, the outer appearance is enough to satisfy his anticipation.
He didn’t think that this was sothing of Epic level. Mu Qiu’s Ashkandi – Greatsword of the brotherhood was the level of Epic equipnt but the high-end weapon didn’t really look like an Epic equipnt. Demitrian casually threw the weapon over to him.
Azure Sea Breeze carefully caught it and laughed liked an idiot as he drooled over it. He no longer had the ability to pay attention to anything else.
“Co with elf. Hope you won’t regret the decision you have made today,” Demitrian fumbled against the walls for a bit. The stone table of the mountain cave started moving. After it moved open there was an underground basent. He could see sothing like a staircase that went further down.
“Cool,” Azure Sea Breeze was alert and couldn’t help but speak in admiration.
Demitrian’s basent compared to upstairs was indeed quite different. The simple and crude appearance of the upstairs was fitting for his enslaved identity, but downstairs was considered open and magnificent.
“This used to be a ruin, and was changed by to its appearance now,” Demitrian explained.
“Is it for experints?” Lu Li and Azure Sea Breeze followed him down.
He and his other teammates had already split, they had all gone their own ways back ho. The Instance Dungeon up to this point had left free ga ti for everyone.
Even if everyone wanted to continue the Instance Dungeon, Lu Li still wouldn’t miss this chance to beco a Spirit Caster than to fight an Instance Dungeon.
Instance Dungeon was important of course but even if Ruling Sword lost this First Clear, there were definitely more opportunities for more in the future. However, there was only once change to learn Spirit Casting, and Lu Li had never heard of it even in his past life.
Not to ntion, there was a piece of Epic equipnt that was born right in front of his eyes just then.
The attributes were naturally amazing. It would depict differences according to each profession. This weapon was well liked by many professions. Those who could hold swords would try harder to get one for themselves. But it was most suited for Tanks, from basic attributes alone, it was enough to give Azure Sea Breeze a great boost in power. Not to ntion the four special effects that were more amazing: A damage reduction, additional HP, increased defence, and lastly, a revival on the spot with full HP.
“Yes, it’s used for experints. And also, a prison,” Demitrian pointed to the cupboards on the walls and casually opened one. Imdiately, a light ball floated out.
“A spirit?” Lu Li widened his eyes.
“Yes, this spirit is of a wild boar. I bumped into it at Razorfen Kraul. This was a demonised wild boar. This spirit was full of rage. It’s such a sha it could only be used as research material,” Demitrian introduced it to Lu Li one by one.
So were the spirit of wild beasts, so were dead organisms from the Death Fields, but there were other things which were very unnerving.
Ogres were fine and didn’t affect Lu Li. However, the two light balls belonging to orcs disturbed him. Perhaps in the eyes of Demitrian, there wasn’t any difference between ogres or orcs – many humans all thought this way.
Especially people like Demitrian whose whole families were killed by orcs and beca wandering orphans of the wild.
