Chapter 1122: Ocean’s Breeze

Translator: Halcyon Translations Editor: Halcyon Translations

There were two choices. The first was to give Lu Li two different types of normal Legendary gear – one item for his participation, and the other for his commanding. The other choice was giving him a Legendary badge, ring or necklace.

Since Lu Li had already received a Legendary necklace, he picked a ring this ti.

Normal Legendary items weren’t hard to acquire; this was evident from their run through the Blackrock Depths. However, Legendary grade accessory items were extrely rare, even in much more difficult dungeons.

Ocean’s Breeze (Legendary): Damage: 52-88, Agility 80, Strength 50, Critical 30%. Unique Effect 1: Incursion. Creates a Fla Realm. Players within this realm gains 20% Defence and 10% Fire Resistance. Duration: 15 seconds. Cooldown: 2 minutes. Unique Effect 2: When the Caster is struck with a critical hit, there is a chance of mitigating so of the damage from the hit. When successful, the damage received is reduced by 50%. Unique Effect 3: Teleport. After equipping, the bearer of this ring gains a chance to use Teleport, but the location is random. Equipnt requirent: Level 55. Durability: 320/320.

Ghostclaw (Dark Gold): Damage 36-48, Agility 42, Strength 28, Critical 25%. Unique Effect 1: After dealing consecutive Critical hits, the third hit has a 50% chance of dealing 3x damage. Unique Effect 2: Skill Levels 1. Unique Effect 3: Burst use. After using, this deals 600 damage to target. 50% of damage dealt is restored as HP. After using, the target’s armor is reduced by 30% for the next 15 seconds. Equipnt requirent: Level 50. Durability: 215/215.

When comparing these two rings, Lu Li’s current ring was not worthless. It was just that the uses of these rings were different.

It was clear that Ghostclaw was much more offense and DPS-focused.

On the other hand, Ocean’s Breeze was a defensive item, aside from the Critical 30%. The Unique Effects mitigated damage and provided extra fire resistance.

As for the last effect, Lu Li had only heard of it – he had never seen it with his eyes.

This third skill needed to be used with much caution, since the destination of the teleport was random. A player had once used this at Naxxramas’ Tomb (or NAXX for short) and ended up in front of Kel’Thuzad. The end to that story was obvious.

Using this skill as a ans of escape was an option, but there was always a chance of teleporting into another dangerous situation.

Lu Li was extrely happy with this run of the Blackrock Depths’ Instance Dungeons.

Firstly, he acquired materials to craft the Felstriker, which ant that he could have this Legendary dagger in his sheath. He was extrely excited at the thought of owning it since the properties were extrely powerful.

After upgrading the Shard of the Defiler, he would have two Legendary daggers. Even Sorrowless would not be a match for Lu Li when he acquired these two daggers.

Secondly, he had acquired the Nightslayer Bracelets. This was Lu Li’s third T1 equip and soon to be his strongest Legendary item. Furthermore, this was part of a set. Once he found another piece of the set, he would unlock the next set effect.

He had also received a Legendary necklace from the quest, while the rest of the All-Star squad were rewarded with Legendary rings.

In total, he had obtained four Legendary items during this run. After equipping these items, his strength would rise to a new level. This sudden rise in strength would cause chaos in the quarter-finals if his opponents did not expect it.

After completing this run with the All-star squad, the first course of action was to go back and form elite squads to clear this dungeon.

Lu Li did not want to waste potential runs since the dungeon reset at a certain server ti. Furthermore, he would know where to go to fight the easier Bosses. All in all, it would still be beneficial, even if they only defeated a couple of bosses.

Ruling Sword already had five elite squads, which totalled 500 players. They could probably create around 30 squads to fight the Blackrock Depths Instance Dungeon.

They all picked Nightmare difficulty. After all, they were only fighting the first few Bosses, so it wouldn’t be too difficult. The other guilds all did the sa. There wasn’t much PVP happening since everyone was busy with the Blackrock Depths Instance Dungeon. The strategy was no longer a secret anyway.

When the dungeon reset the next day, Lu Li went to the university and filled out the paperwork.

It wasn’t too complicated – Jiangnan University was not a university that everyone could enter, but with the council’s secretary, the process went smoothly.

He had an exchange student ID with him, so he could use the library and the cafeteria whenever he wanted to.

Lu Li did not have set courses in mind when he was admitted into this university.

His first class was an Advanced Maths class. This served absolutely no purpose.

Because this was a large auditorium, there were many other students. Lu Li tried his best to keep attention away from himself, which was not difficult.

He did not understand any of the content that was being taught in that class.

As a result, he spent most of his ti observing others in the auditorium. So were studying, which Lu Li admired, while so were fast asleep.

This was a school?

Lu Li felt sowhat excited to be here, not because he wanted to graduate with a degree, but because he hadn’t experienced this type of atmosphere before.

Although he did not understand anything, Lu Li was enjoying himself, so he stayed for the whole class. After class, he went to the high school beside the university to visit his sister. Lu Xin was recovering while maintaining a stable condition, so she decided to start going to school that day.

Although Lu Li made enough money to support both him and his sister together, it did not matter if Lu Xin did not want to go to school and find work afterwards.

However, because they were both instilled with a hardworking attitude, they would not just give up and be lazy.

After eating lunch together, Lu Li went to another class. After going ho with Lu Xin when classes finished, he finally logged in again.

After a server reset, many places went through drastic changes with updates to ga content.
