Sitting in the locker room for a long ti, Caden Sumrs scratched his head irritably.

Those bastards!

With a sullen face, he walked out of the locker room and glanced at Michelle Lockwood, who was sitting in the yard. After hesitating for a long ti, he decided to let it go.

"Caden."

But Michelle Lockwood called out to him proactively.

Caden pretended not to hear and was about to walk away.

"Caden, the boss is calling you." Soone oblivious to the mood had to remind him.

Taking a deep breath, Caden turned around and walked up to Michelle. "Boss, you called ."

"Overti tonight, three thousand overti pay, how about it?" Michelle was obviously still out to tornt Caden, intending not to let him sleep.

Last night, Caden had already stood all night.

The other bodyguards also noticed that the boss was always targeting Caden and felt a bit sorry for him. "Boss, Caden hasn’t rested for three days straight, if this continues..."

Making money at the cost of life, is it worth it?

What’s the boss intending?

How did Caden offend the boss?

"Alright, I’ll work overti..." Caden’s voice was calm, without any waves. "I don’t want money, just do a favor."

Michelle looked at Caden with great interest. Was he actually asking her for a favor?

"No money? Go ahead." Michelle was very interested.

"My nephew needs school... No school dares to accept him." Caden lowered his head, clenching his fists.

He was not good at asking for help. If he weren’t pushed to the edge, he wouldn’t ask.

Michelle clearly saw this in Caden too. "Your nephew is unregistered? No household registration?"

Caden shook his head. "No, it’s because he offended the Grant Family’s eldest daughter."

"The Grant Family..." Michelle tapped her fingers lightly on the table. "The mistress from the Grant Family brought that illegitimate daughter? That Chelsea Grant?"

Michelle’s face was full of disdain, obviously looking down on Chelsea Grant.

Caden looked bewildered; he didn’t know these affluent family gossips.

"Ha, touching my people, she’s just shaless." Michelle sat up straight, elegantly stretching. "I can help you, just accompany tonight."

"Ahem..." A few bodyguards quickly retreated, pretending they’d heard nothing.

Caden’s face turned black. "No need, I’m off work."

With that, Caden turned around and left.

"Caden!" Michelle slamd the table in anger.

Caden pretended not to hear, knowing Michelle might fire him.

Seeing Caden really leave without looking back, Michelle grew white with rage. This stubborn man.

"Find out the best kindergarten in ridia, just say it’s for my nephew, let’s see who dares to stop it." Michelle took a long cigarette with her slender fingers, signaling the butler to light it.

The butler nodded. "Yes, Ma’am."

"Call Miss." Michelle frowned.

The butler quickly nodded. "Yes, Miss."

...

The repair shop.

"Are you moving out or paying the rent? If not, leave quickly."

The landlord had co to evict them again.

"There’s still a month left on the lease, we haven’t decided yet..." Yvette Aston spoke softly, a bit scared.

"A month? Rent’s due three months in advance, don’t you know?" The landlord was unkind, clearly trying to drive them out.

Yvette lowered her head, hesitating for a long ti before speaking. "We’re... not renting."

"Not renting?" The landlord’s voice was sharp. "Then why are you still here? Pack up and get out!"

He was about to go in and throw Yvette’s things out.

"We still have a month," Yvette backed away, protecting Sumrs.

"A month? You should’ve moved out three months ago."

Yvette’s eyes reddened, wanting to resist but feeling powerless.

This was definitely soone from the Aston Family or the Grant Family having the landlord deliberately make things difficult for her.

So, even if she argued, it was no use.

"Yvette, your brother has rented from for five or six years, you’re old custors. How much do you earn per night?" The landlord smoked, squinting as he smiled at Yvette.

Yvette’s face went white, her fingers digging into her palms. "What are you talking about?"

"Don’t pretend, you really think I don’t know? Go ask anyone around here, who doesn’t know you sell yourself outside? I can offset the rent." The landlord approached Yvette, reaching out to grope her.

"Ah!" The landlord scread, seeing Sumrs smash a wrench onto his foot.

"You little bastard." The landlord tried to hit Sumrs.

Yvette pushed the landlord away with all her might and ran out, holding Sumrs.

"Acting all innocent while being a whore," the landlord pulled Yvette’s hair, throwing her to the ground.

"Mom...," Sumrs hugged Yvette, terrified.

"What the hell are you doing!" Fortunately, Caden arrived in ti, kicking the landlord away.

The landlord knew Caden’s ferocity, and seeing him back, he pulled up his pants and ran.

"Bro..." Yvette hid in a corner, panic-stricken, her voice trembling. "Let’s leave, not stay here anymore."

Caden hurriedly picked up Sumrs, stepping forward to comfort Yvette. "Alright, I’ll find a place tomorrow."

Yvette looked up at Caden, tears uncontrollably falling.

Why did they have to suffer all this?

All this malice from everyone...

"Yvette..."

Seeing Yvette unwell, Caden put Sumrs down, his voice panicked. "Go get the dicine."

Sumrs rushed into the room to get the heart dicine.

"Yvette, take a deep breath." Caden anxiously patted Yvette’s back. "Listen, breathe deeply."

Yvette took a deep breath, her heartache turning her lips pale.

"It’s alright, it’s alright." Sumrs brought the dicine, and Caden gave it to Yvette.

Yvette cald down after a while, then curled up with her legs folded, crying.

She didn’t know why she felt so wronged.

This was the life she deserved...

"Yvette!"

Outside the door, it was Jayden Grant’s voice.

Yvette had just cald down, but hearing Jayden’s voice, she hid fearfully in a corner. "Bro..."

Jayden Grant was here.

Caden, having nowhere to vent, saw these bastards.

Pushing Sumrs inside and locking the door, Caden picked up an iron rod from the ground, watching Jayden Grant approach the entrance. "What do you want now!"

Jayden’s gaze fell on Yvette in the corner, his voice low. "Get out here."

Yvette hugged herself tight, not daring to go out.

"Jayden Grant! Don’t go too far." Caden shielded Yvette.

Inside, was the sound of Sumrs crying, and banging on the door.

He was scared.

He was afraid this bad man would hurt Mommy.

"What if I bully you?" Jayden sneered, having the bodyguards hold back Caden, approaching Yvette step by step.

Caden punched one of the bodyguards, the three of them were no match for him.

"Jayden Grant, you bastard," Caden grabbed Jayden’s collar, punching him hard in the face.

Jayden hit Caden back, but in a fight, he was no real match for Caden.

"Are you all fucking dead!"

Jayden cursed in a low voice.

All the bodyguards sward in, pinning Caden to the ground.

Wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth, Jayden cursed in pain, got up, and walked up to Yvette, pulling her by the hair. "I heard my brother helped solve the little bastard’s school problem?"

"You bastard, let go of my sister!" Caden struggled hard.

Jayden looked at Caden with cold eyes. "I wanted to ruin your hand last ti, didn’t expect you had such grit. This ti I’ll chop it off, let’s see if it can be reattached."
