"It doesn’t feel as prickly anymore." After sending Sumrs to the study to learn, Ethan hugged Yvette from behind, watching her arrange flowers.
Yvette’s body beca sowhat stiff, quite awkward.
"Ouch." Ethan reached out to pick up the scattered rose on the table, getting pricked by a thorn and instantly a little red spot of blood appeared on his finger.
Yvette nervously grasped Ethan’s finger, looking up at him helplessly.
"Yvette." Ethan looked down at Yvette, the two were very close, and the atmosphere was slightly ambiguous.
"Hm..." Yvette lowered her head, feeling helpless, wanting to remove the thorns from the roses.
"Red roses, compared to white ones, are more resistant to wind and harsh environnts." Ethan took the rose from her. "Roses are supposed to have thorns; it’s not their fault if they prick soone."
Yvette looked up at Ethan, her gaze trembling.
Ethan sighed and leaned down to kiss her.
Those jerks hurt Yvette to the point of being so resistant and scarred; he needed to use even more patience and careful care to warm her up.
There’s no rush; little by little, those who hurt Yvette, if she doesn’t act, he will.
To kill soone, one must strike at the heart.
So people always have to pay for their mistakes.
Yvette’s breathing was rapid, her face flushed, as Ethan pulled her into his arms, forcing her to retreat step by step into the bathroom.
He leaned down to kiss her again; Ethan’s kiss was searing yet carried a strong sense of solace.
Yvette felt dizzy, as if... she had truly fallen.
She knew she was dood.
She had already drowned in Ethan’s gentle trap.
Even knowing it’s a trap, she had already fallen deeply, unable to extricate herself.
"Yvette..." Ethan’s voice was hoarse, during monts of passion, he always wanted to utter so simple but comforting words.
His fingers gently slid down Yvette’s spine, as Ethan kissed her at her ear. "Completely, give yourself to , alright?"
Entrust trust, reliance, and responsibility to him.
Yvette’s tense and taut body slowly relaxed as there was nowhere to retreat to, her clothes taken off by Ethan and thrown aside.
Yvette’s voice quivered. "Sumrs..."
"My son is very good... studying, he won’t co downstairs to disturb us." Ethan chuckled lightly.
Yvette’s voice was sowhat hoarse. "Koko, just finished eating, need to..."
"Needs exercise, aids digestion." Ethan looked at Yvette ruefully, controlling himself with such difficulty.
Yvette’s ears burned, pushed against the wall, the cold ceramic tiles made her instinctively snuggle closer to Ethan.
Ethan raised an eyebrow, since she delivered herself so willingly into his arms, he wasn’t going to be courteous.
"Mr. Grant..." Out of fear, Yvette habitually called him Mr. Grant.
Ethan tightened his grip on Yvette’s waist, scaring her into a frightened sob.
"Call what..." Ethan prompted enticingly.
Yvette felt her spine shiver, truly giving her the illusion of her soul being drained by a seductress.
He’s truly, so tempting.
She didn’t want to indulge herself this way, didn’t want Ethan to think she was that kind of lustful woman... But her body was completely out of her control.
"Hm?" Seeing Yvette stay silent, Ethan mischievously nibbled her neck.
Yvette was bullied into tears. "Ethan... Ethan Grant..."
"Wrong..."
Ethan persistently bullied Yvette.
Yvette trembled, clinging tightly to Ethan. "E-... Ethan."
"Incorrect."
She was forced into a corner with nowhere to back down, having no choice but to cling to Ethan to avoid slipping down.
Ethan lifted her, pressing her to the wall, the cold touch made her tense up, sticking closer to him.
"What does Sumrs make you call ?" Ethan insisted on making Yvette say that na.
Yvette was very spirited, not calling despite crying.
Ethan couldn’t deal with her. "Were you a spy in a past life?"
Yvette breathed rapidly, leaning against Ethan, staying silent, constantly crying.
Ethan soothingly patted her back, apologizing for making her cry while comforting her. "I was wrong, don’t cry, won’t bully you anymore..."
"You’re lying..." Yvette cried even more.
Because Ethan, although admitting his fault verbally, hadn’t stopped his actions with her.
"Shh." Ethan made a silencing gesture towards Yvette.
Sure enough, the doorbell rang outside.
Ethan furrowed his eyebrows, his expression terrifyingly stern; who was so blind at this ti?
If it was Christopher Carter, he was dead.
It had better be sothing important.
Yvette looked at Ethan nervously, wanting to get down from him.
Ethan refused to let her go. "Yvette... I can’t stand it."
Ethan was whining.
Yvette was swayed, shockingly not continuing to resist. "But, there, there’s soone."
"Doesn’t matter, waiting a while to open the door won’t kill anyone..." but interrupting him to go outside would.
Yvette flushed urgently, speaking quickly. "Then, hurry."
"You think I’m slow?" Ethan still bullied Yvette.
The doorbell outside kept ringing, indicating the person outside was very restless.
Yvette was terrified, what if it was sothing urgent?
anwhile, Ethan remained calm, but was already thinking about how to deal with Christopher Carter.
Didn’t know how long had passed, the doorbell kept ringing.
Ethan refused to let Yvette go, but Sumrs upstairs couldn’t stand it, running downstairs.
Sumrs ran downstairs with a thump, being a small figure, peering out through the video doorbell.
Was the doorbell broken? The cara looked out, but soone was nowhere to be seen outside?
Why was it continuously ringing?
"Dad? Mom?" Sumrs turned to look for Ethan and Yvette.
Failed to find them after a round.
Did Mom and Dad go out?
Confused, he walked towards the door, spotting only the round little head on the screen.
Because he was too small, the cara could only see his head.
Sumrs thought Stephen had co and opened the door willingly.
But outside stood a stranger little fellow.
Of a similar height to Sumrs, seven parts similar around the eyebrows, carrying his school bag, and dragging a waterlon-sized suitcase.
"Who are you?" Sumrs asked curiously, looking at the little fellow outside.
The little guy also looked at Sumrs vigilantly. "Who are you?"
Sumrs scratched his head. "I’m Sumrs, how about you?"
Seeing Sumrs had no malice, the little fellow relaxed a little. "I’m Baron."
"Who are you looking for?" Sumrs peeked outside, but saw no adults.
"I’m looking for my mommy." Baron patted his plump little tummy; he had run away from ho, hearing this address from his uncle Harrison Sterling and ca along.
He wanted to find his mommy.
"But there’s no mommy here, only my mom." Sumrs shook his head. "You got the wrong place."
Baron looked up at the doorplate and said fluently in English.
aning: "I didn’t get it wrong, it’s here."
Sumrs looked at Baron, speaking English like a young child. "There really is no your mommy here."
Sumrs was going to close the door when Baron slipped inside.
"Mommy?"
"Mommy!" Baron searched for Yvette’s figure.
"My dad and mom might be asleep, keep your voice down." Sumrs warned Baron to not shout.
"It’s only past six, how could they be sleeping? You’re lying." Baron snorted.
Sumrs had no way to handle Baron. "Your tummy’s been growling, I’ll get you sothing to eat."
With a short mouth after eating, weak hands after taking, Baron finally relaxed his guard.
