Yvette turned around in panic, looking at Ethan Grant. Sumrs... was injured.

"Mr. Grant... I, I need to go to the hospital," Yvette’s voice was tinged with sobs as she hurriedly turned to run out.

"I’ll go with you." Ethan Grant grabbed a coat and draped it over Yvette, then went to the garage to get the car. "Get in."

Yvette wanted to say thank you, but she was too scared and couldn’t make a sound.

"Find out which hospital Caden and Sumrs are in." Ethan Grant called Christopher Carter.

Christopher Carter, far away in Solara, had just finished handling the hotel cleaning issues and imdiately worked on tracking Caden’s whereabouts. "Alright, Mr. Grant."

...

ridia Hospital, ergency room.

Caden’s phone was snatched away and smashed onto the floor, shattering into pieces.

Sumrs was scared to tears and hid in Caden’s arms.

He had a wound on his forehead, clearly caused by sothing sharp.

Caden kept his temper in check, clenching his hands tightly with restraint.

This bunch of bastards.

Over the years, Caden knew he couldn’t afford to provoke them, so he always showed restraint, but they only got worse.

"Caden, still not willing to let Yvette co back?" Claudia Bell leaned against the door fra, sneering. "I don’t agree. I want to see who dares to bandage this little bastard’s wounds."

Caden’s fingers slowly clenched, his eyes dark as he looked at the dozen bodyguards Claudia brought. "This is a hospital."

"So what about the hospital? Ask these doctors, with the Bell Family’s disapproval, who dares to treat this little brat!" Claudia was arrogant, clearly not having learned her lesson during her ti in detention but instead, growing more resentful of Yvette.

With the rumors about Yvette and Ethan Grant, Claudia felt indignant on behalf of her sister Wendy and was furious.

After all, in Claudia’s view, Ethan Grant was sooner or later going to marry her sister, so they were family.

Since he’s her brother-in-law, he couldn’t possibly side with outsiders.

"Make way." The mont Claudia finished speaking, Lucas Lockwood walked in, wearing a white coat and carrying a dical kit.

He glanced at Sumrs’ wound, frowned, and crouched down in front of him. "Little buddy, are you afraid of pain?"

"..." Apparently, Claudia’s face was taphorically stepped on, as Lucas, being a doctor, feared Claudia not at all.

Biting her lip in anger, Claudia spoke. "Didn’t I say without my consent, no one should treat this brat? What’s your na!"

Lucas shot Claudia a cold look, not stopping his work. He used tweezers to hold a cotton swab to disinfect Sumrs.

Sumrs clasped his small, milk-white hands tightly, looking at Lucas with resolve. "Doctor... will it leave a scar?"

"Worried about your looks at such a young age?" Lucas teased Sumrs with a playful smile.

"No... no." Sumrs sobbed, gasping between words, yet remained strong, holding back tears. "If my mom sees it, she’ll, she’ll worry."

He didn’t want his mom to worry.

Lucas paused for a mont with the cotton swab, then unconsciously softened his actions. "It won’t leave a scar; the wound isn’t deep. Uncle will stitch it very carefully to ensure no scar will be visible, okay?"

Sumrs nodded obediently.

"How could adults be so careless?" With a changed deep voice, Lucas reprimanded.

"They ca to vandalize the rental place, and the broken glass cut Sumrs," Caden nervously held Sumrs. "Sumrs, don’t be afraid; it doesn’t hurt to get a shot."

Sumrs nodded, his eyes red. "Sumrs is not afraid; it’s not Uncle’s fault."

"Can’t you understand?" Claudia angrily tried to step forward.

Lucas looked at Claudia. "This is a public hospital. Your family has grown this arrogant?"

"Dr. Lockwood, they won’t let us in," the nurse at the door said angrily.

"Call the police," Lucas instructed the nurse to report to the police.

At the ntion of calling the police, Claudia’s face changed. "What’s your na!"

"Lucas Lockwood," Lucas replied, pointing to the na badge on his chest.

"Alright, you’ll pay for this," Claudia signaled to let the nurse pass, then went aside to call the hospital’s leadership.

"Caden!" Outside, Michelle Lockwood rushed in, her voice slightly panicked.

"Cousin," Lucas called out, continuing to tend to Sumrs’ forehead wound.

Michelle gave Lucas a glance, then nodded.

In the Lockwood family, he was the only heir, yet he refused to take over the family business and chose instead to study dicine and beco a doctor.

"Boss," Caden was startled, not expecting Michelle to be here.

Michelle’s gaze fell on Sumrs’ face, and she rushed over, alard. "Sumrs, who did this to you?"

Originally brave, Sumrs broke down in tears when he saw Michelle.

"Why are you here..." Caden nervously asked.

"Why didn’t you answer my calls?" Michelle was angry. Unable to reach Caden, she went to his residence, found his rental place trashed, and knew sothing must have happened.

She... secretly activated tracking on Caden’s phone.

"I was caught up with sothing," Caden spoke softly, carrying Sumrs to a bed for treatnt.

"Who did it?" Michelle angrily pointed at Sumrs’ wound.

Caden remained silent.

Nearby, having finished her call, Claudia mocked them. "Your superior is coming; don’t say I didn’t warn you. No one touches this brat until his mother arrives."

It was only then that Michelle noticed soone else was there.

Narrowing her eyes, Michelle turned to look at Claudia. "Did you injure the child from my family?"

Claudia glanced at Michelle, failing to recognize her.

Today, Michelle wore casual attire with a high ponytail, looking much younger.

Besides, Claudia wasn’t very familiar with Michelle, who had gone to M Country early on.

In ridia, the only socialite comparable to Michelle was Chelsea Grant.

Unfortunately, Chelsea relied on the Grant Family, while Michelle relied on herself.

Once, a journalist interviewed Michelle about what it was like marrying into wealth, and she publicly retorted, "You should ask my husband what it’s like to marry into wealth."

"Your family’s child? Ha... who are you? Courageously ignorant, perhaps Caden’s girlfriend?" Claudia laughed. Hadn’t seen her for just a few days, and Caden already had a girlfriend?

"Do you know what kind of person Caden is?" Claudia belittled him. "He’s a man who continuously molests his sister and can’t control himself. I suggest you leave him early."

Caden frowned, wanting to explain... but felt it was aningless.

Yvette was right; when people choose to throw dirt, even if you’re clean, you’ll end up dirty.

Michelle looked back at Caden, and Caden t her gaze.

His eyes were complex...

Yet Michelle felt a twinge of sympathy.

"Which ntal hospital didn’t keep an eye on you, letting a mad dog out?" Michelle wasn’t one to tolerate Claudia. She delivered a flying kick that sent Claudia crashing against the wall.

"..."

Everyone in the treatnt room was stunned.

The young nurse gasped in shock, covering her mouth, while the more timid one hid behind Lucas.

Lucas, however, was not surprised and raised an eyebrow.

His cousin, indeed, had always been a tough one to handle...

As expected, only magic can defeat magic.

Outside.

Yvette ran over in a panic, and the first thing she saw was a graceful figure delivering a flying kick.

"..." Stunned, Yvette stopped in her tracks and looked back at Ethan Grant, unable to fully grasp the situation.

The one being kicked, wasn’t that Claudia?
