The mont Kael saw the figure clearly, sothing inside him tightened and his calm expression finally cracked as a faint tension appeared in his eyes.
For the first ti since the battle began, he had to admit sothing he never wanted to accept.
He was actually scared.
In all his life, there was only one fucking person Kael was afraid of, and that fear had nothing to do with strength or overwhelming divine pressure but everything to do with unpredictability.
His gaze fixed on the figure standing in the shattered sky while holding that massive war hamr as if it weighed nothing, and the surrounding space still trembled from the force of his arrival.
A bald head, a rough and careless posture, and an aura that did not feel stable at all.
The God of War.
Kael's jaw tightened slightly as mories surfaced whether he liked it or not, and irritation mixed with that faint fear that he could not suppress.
This bald donkey.
He was not afraid because the man was strong or frightening or anything like that, but because the man was completely nuts and impossible to deal with in any logical way.
The reason was simple.
That bald donkey was a fighting maniac, and not just a little but absolutely and completely insane.
Kael rembered the previous war clearly because it had left a deep impression on everyone involved, and even now the mory felt absurd.
It's because this bastard had a habit of fighting from the losing side.
At first, this idiot had fought alongside him and smashed through the enemy lines without hesitation, but then in the middle of the battle, when the gods began to lose, he suddenly switched sides and attacked Kael from behind without any warning.
Then, when Kael was pushed back and the gods started gaining the upper hand, that sa bastard turned again and began beating the gods like nothing had happened.
And it did not stop there because he kept switching sides again and again while laughing and fighting everyone at once until both sides lost patience and fled just to escape him.
That madness had forced everyone to unite just to capture him, and even then it took everything they had to lock him away.
Kael and his team had prepared for many possibilities including betrayal and divine interference, but they had never prepared for sothing this absurd.
And he was not the only one affected.
Even the gods themselves showed fear.
Sowhere within the chaos, one of the evil gods roared loudly while his voice trembled with disbelief and anger.
"The FUCKKKK! Isn't he locked? Which bastard let this bastard out? Kill him first."
Another voice answered after a short pause, and the tone carried both realization and accusation.
"Ohh…..It's Steampunk."
A brief silence followed, and the atmosphere turned strange.
Kael slowly turned his head and looked directly at Steampunk, and his gaze held clear suspicion.
Steampunk, who was still facing Eric, felt that shift imdiately as a chill ran down his spine, and although he tried to maintain his usual calm expression, his hand paused for a fraction of a second before he coughed lightly.
"Don't worry… Kael… he will be fighting from our side this ti…" he said while adjusting his gloves, though there was a slight stiffness in his voice that did not go unnoticed.
Kael stared at him without speaking for a mont.
"For real?" Nina's voice spread across the battlefield while her flas surged violently and lit up large sections of space like burning waves.
Doubt was obvious.
Even Peru paused and his grotesque face twitched slightly as if he wanted to say sothing, but before he could react—
A hamr shot toward him at terrifying speed and tore through space as if distance ant nothing.
Peru's eyes widened imdiately and he twisted his body to dodge it by a narrow margin, and the force of it passing by distorted the space around him.
The hamr did not stop and continued forward as clusters of distant stars exploded one after another under its path, and each explosion sent shockwaves across the universe.
Then the hamr suddenly slowed, and it changed direction as if guided by will.
It flew back.
It returned to the hand of the God of War.
He caught it casually and then slamd it against his chest with a loud and heavy sound, and that single motion sent a violent ripple through the surrounding space.
His presence spread outward in an unstable and oppressive way, and it felt like a storm that could turn in any direction without warning.
He looked at everyone slowly, and his gaze carried no clear allegiance.
Then he spoke.
"You have been fighting while I am locked…" his voice was low but it carried across the entire battlefield, and every being present heard it clearly.
His grip on the hamr tightened slightly.
"Dared to keep the God of War itself out of war…"
A faint grin appeared on his face, and it was not calm or controlled but sothing unhinged and dangerous.
"You all will pay for this."
The mont the God of War stepped forward, the entire battlefield shifted again, and this ti the change did not feel controlled or calculated but chaotic and unstable, as if sothing unpredictable had entered the war.
He did not hesitate, and he did not waste ti observing others because his attention imdiately locked onto the ones who could actually withstand him, which were Peru and the Lord of Abyssal Sect.
A faint grin appeared on his face, and then he moved.
The space beneath him shattered as he launched forward, and the war hamr in his hand swung down with overwhelming force while tearing through layers of reality.
Peru reacted instantly, and his grotesque body twisted and expanded as layers of distorted flesh surged outward in an attempt to block the attack, but the mont the hamr collided with him, the impact exploded violently.
BOOOOOOM!
His body was torn apart again, and this ti the destruction did not remain limited to him because the shockwave spread far beyond and ripped through surrounding space, causing distant stars to crack and explode one after another.
"Kekekekeke!" Peru's laughter echoed again, but although he reford quickly, there was a faint strain in his presence that could not be ignored.
At the sa ti, the abyss moved, and the Lord of Abyssal Sect expanded its domain as a massive darkness surged forward and swallowed everything in its path while trying to engulf the God of War completely.
However, the God of War did not dodge or retreat, and instead he stepped directly into that overwhelming darkness as if he welcod it.
His hamr spun once in his hand, and then he swung it outward again with brutal force, and that single strike tore through the abyss as if it was breaking apart sothing fragile.
The darkness split and collapsed in layers, and entire sections of the abyss were ripped apart and scattered across the universe while unstable voids ford and vanished instantly
