"And you all.."He turned around at them giving them a shiver..

"What are you looking at?"

He lifted his sword once more, its blade gleaming with deadly light.

"Dinsional Slash: Fourth Form."

"WAIT..IS HE ATTACKING US!"

"Fuck…Weren't we on sa side.."

"Hey stop it…Stopp!"

"STOPPPOOOLOO!

"GOOODDD!

Everyone started to scream frantically like madn.

"Stop it…We are allies isn't it?"

The dinsional slash ripped through the sky like a wound splitting the heavens apart.

A crimson light surged outward, spreading across the horizon and swallowing everything in its path. For a mont, the entire world glowed red, and then ca the sound.

RUMBLE!

RUMBLE

A deep, earth-shaking roar that split the land itself.

The mountains trembled

The ground crumbled into dust as the colossal force swept through everything that existed. The air turned heavy, and the clouds above twisted violently before they too were consud by the light.

The entire world was being cleaved into two.

People scread in terror. So fell to their knees and prayed. Others tried to run, even though there was nowhere left to go. The ground beneath them cracked open, swallowing everything it touched. Buildings broke apart like glass, and rivers turned into streams of molten light.

It was like the end of the world had crashed down onto them.

But amidst the chaos, Kael stood motionless. His expression didn't show fear or confusion. Instead, it carried a strange stillness, almost like sorrow. His eyes reflected the crimson glow that dyed the dying world. Around him, the people, the trees, and even the sky began to blur. Everything was fading away like smoke blown by the wind.

The slash vanished and along the world disappeared.

And then what followed was silence.

Despite everything turning around, surprisingly Kael found himself standing in a dark, empty space. The ground beneath his feet was cracked and lifeless, stretching endlessly into the void with everyone disappearing.

At the center of that broken world, he saw a single figure kneeling.

The man's shoulders were slumped. His head hung low, his entire posture heavy and defeated. Kael's heart tightened as he stared at the figure. Sothing about him felt painfully familiar. Without thinking, Kael took a step forward, then another, drawn by a feeling he couldn't explain.

When he got closer, he noticed the man was wearing a mask—half-broken and scorched, its edges cracked. But through the gaps, Kael could see his eyes.

They were hollow. Empty. Lifeless.

It was a sight that made his heart sink.

Then, a faint, trembling voice echoed in the darkness.

"I killed them… I killed them again."

The man laughed weakly, a sound that didn't belong to soone sane. "Humans… demons… I killed them both… hahaha." His laughter died into a whisper. "It's like I'm stuck in a loop… killing again and again. I suffered once, so I swore no one else would. But… it's overwhelming ."

"This sin…This burden…It feels too much,too heavy."

Kael froze in place. His throat went dry. The man's words cut deep, stirring mories he had buried long ago. His body trembled slightly.

"Leonard!" he called out, his voice cracking apart.

He rushed forward and knelt beside the man, his hand landing firmly on his shoulder. "Leonard…"

The man's head tilted up slowly. "Who…?" he murmured, his voice barely audible.

Kael didn't answer. He reached forward and pulled off the cracked mask.

Beneath it was a face pale as ash, scarred and drained of life. His hair was matted and his lips were dry. But what struck Kael most were his eyes—dull and lifeless, yet filled with the pain of soone who had seen too much.

Kael's hand trembled as he placed it gently on Leonard's cheek. "Leonard… you've done well," he said softly. "You fought with all your heart. You fought for the people of this world. You saved from suffering. You saved them from death. The war will soon be over, and your na will be written in the annals of history."

Leonard blinked slowly, as if the words took ti to reach him. His voice ca out weak and broken. "The war… will it really be over?"

"Yes," Kael said, forcing a smile even as his eyes burned. "It will be over soon. You won't have to live like this anymore."

"For real?" Leonard's lips trembled. "So I don't have to act as a cover agent anymore? I don't have to kill my wishes or follow the kin's orders? No more pretending to be one of them? No more blood…?" His voice cracked as tears gathered in his eyes. "Can I finally retire? Can I just live… my own life?"

He looked at Kael with such fragile hope that it broke sothing inside him.

Kael nodded firmly. "Yes. Everything is true. You fought well, Leonard. You can rest now."

"Rest now..You will soon witness the glorious history."

Leonard stared at him for a long mont, and then the tears finally fell. They ran down his pale cheeks and dripped onto the ground. His body shook with quiet sobs.

Kael didn't hold back either. He reached forward and pulled Leonard into a tight embrace. "You did well," he whispered. "You don't have to fight anymore."

As he held him, Kael's mind drifted. How many tis had he wished for soone to say those sa words to him? To tell him it was alright to stop fighting? That he didn't need to struggle anymore?

But no one ever did. He lived for others, bled for others, fought for their sake, and yet never once lived for himself.

It was the sa in his past life, and it was the sa now.

Until those sitting high above the so-called gods and rulers were brought down, people like him would never know peace. But now he wasn't the sa lost fool he once was.

He understood how things worked.

And once he stepped out of this illusion, he would deal with them. For real this ti.

He patted Leonard's back gently, his eyes soft. The world around them began to break apart again, cracks forming in the dark sky.

"Goodbye, Leonard," Kael said quietly. "It's nice to see you again."

Leonard smiled faintly through his tears. "You too…"

"Huh?" Kael blinked in confusion.
