Without experiencing it personally, how could one possibly understand the feelings of those involved?
Ai Qingqing was still comforting Ouyang Lingling when Su Ming suddenly noticed a flash, followed by a warning in his heart.
However, this ti the prewarning wasn’t that intense.
"It’s not aid at ."
Su Ming glanced around and then patted Bai Mo.
"Make sure they’re safe. I’m going out for a bit."
Then, Su Ming followed the person who had left.
At that mont, a series of warnings sounded in Su Ming’s heart.
Su Ming looked around and found that many people were walking in the sa direction.
And in that direction, there was only one seat, the so-called Supre Seat.
At this ti on the Supre Seat, Xue Ruohan drank the last glass of wine in one go and was about to leave.
Just then, a bartender approached Xue Ruohan.
"Miss Xue, may I carry your bag for you?"
Xue Ruohan nodded and extended her hand.
Just as the person was about to take Xue Ruohan’s bag, she instantly attacked, punching the person in the throat.
The person never expected Xue Ruohan to strike suddenly.
He stepped back a few steps, disbelief on his face, then collapsed to one knee, and fell.
However, in the next second, several people in the crowd appeared, drawing pistols aid at Xue Ruohan.
"Watch out!"
Su Ming shouted, directly tackling Xue Ruohan onto the sofa.
Simultaneously, bullets fired from the dark gun barrels, striking the walls.
As the gunshots rang out, the guests at the Crown Celestial Palace had yet to realize what was happening.
However, after another round of firing, they finally reacted.
For a mont, chaos broke out on the scene.
On the sofa, Su Ming’s entire head was buried in Xue Ruohan’s chest.
"My God, why is it so soft? Why is there so much bounce?"
Su Ming raised his head, eting Xue Ruohan’s shy face.
It was the first ti any man had been this close to her.
"Get off now!"
Su Ming imdiately rolled off Xue Ruohan and then stood calmly to the side.
"Miss Xue, we sure are fated to et again."
Hearing this, Xue Ruohan finally took a serious look at Su Ming.
Seeing Su Ming’s face, Xue Ruohan was a bit surprised.
"It’s actually you."
Xue Ruohan didn’t expect that Su Ming, whom she had run into once at the Kingdom Trade Center, would be here today.
"I say, Miss Xue, I did save you, can’t you at least say thank you?"
Su Ming gave Xue Ruohan a glare, then looked behind the sofa.
At this mont, those n in black holding guns were slowly approaching.
"Let’s save the thanks for after this is over. I need to figure out who they are first."
Looking at these assassins, Xue Ruohan’s eyes didn’t show a hint of panic.
Instead, it seed like she’d been through this countless tis.
Suddenly, she pulled a hairpin from her head, revealing a dagger.
"They’re from Japan. I overheard them in the bathroom, seed like they were discussing so business with you."
With that, Xue Ruohan understood what was going on.
"These Japanese, truly a leopard can’t change its spots."
Slowly, the assassins closed in on the two of them, their tension rising.
Just then, an object flew out from behind the sofa.
Everyone aid their guns that way and fired.
Yet, they only hit a piece of clothing.
In the next instant, Su Ming appeared in front of one person, grabbing his face and slamming him into the ground.
At that mont, blood spilled out.
The person beside him tried to shoot, but Su Ming disard him, shooting him in the chest.
The other assassins aid their guns at Su Ming and fired.
Su Ming took cover behind the assassin he had just killed.
Fortunately, the weapons they carried were handguns, with not much power.
Otherwise, even then, bullets might have pierced the assassin’s corpse and hit Su Ming.
As everyone was focused on Su Ming.
A silhouette dashed out from behind the sofa, reaching one of the assassins.
That assassin had no ti to react before his head fell to the ground.
Then, like a phantom, the figure swiftly moved through the assassins.
Within a few breaths, several heads lay on the ground.
With Xue Ruohan’s help, Su Ming’s pressure eased considerably.
He moved quickly, reaching soone and delivering a punch to their heart.
Though there were no visible injuries outside, the heart had been crushed.
At this mont, the roles of hunter and prey began to reverse.
The once-hunters beca the prey.
The mastermind behind this plan, the ever-hidden Kojima Yotsuka, wore a mask of fury.
"Damn it, how could this happen?"
At this ti, the assistant beside him grabbed his arm.
"Kojima-san, let’s go quickly, today’s assassination is dood to fail."
Kojima Yotsuka punched the wall.
"We were so close, I can’t accept it."
"Kojima-san, let’s leave quickly, or we’ll be trapped here if they find us."
Reluctantly, Kojima Yotsuka abandoned his subordinates and left.
But before he left, Kojima Yotsuka ordered, "Give it one last shot, and even if you’re caught, kill as many people from Dragon Country as possible!"
As ti passed, these assassins were all killed by Su Ming and Xue Ruohan.
This ti, Su Ming wasn’t worried about a repeat of last ti’s events.
After all, Xue Ruohan had his back.
Just the na of the Xue Family in Shanghai was enough to deter many.
After taking care of the killers on the scene, Su Ming turned to Xue Ruohan.
Xue Ruohan was standing there, not a drop of blood on her.
She picked up a white handkerchief to clean her dagger.
Then she sheathed it and placed it back in her hair.
Before the two could speak, the warning in Su Ming’s heart went off again.
"Get down!"
Su Ming shouted, tackling Xue Ruohan to the ground once more.
The next bullet whizzed past Su Ming’s back.
Su Ming could even feel the gust from the bullets.
After a burst of gunfire, more figures erged from the darkness.
They were holding submachine guns.
"How’d they even get those in here? What kind of connections do they have?"
As Su Ming was in shock, Xue Ruohan’s voice ca from below.
"Do you really like touching there?"
Su Ming turned his head, realizing his hand was on Xue Ruohan’s soft chest.
In a mont of madness, Su Ming unexpectedly gave it a squeeze.
"Quite soft."
