To be frank, he seriously considered not doing it.

After all, he was so busy already. A brand new profession would definitely be ti-consuming. Where did his leisurely Inn Life go?!

First, he had to reach his quota of absorption (which was now a minimum of 10 awakened essence cores). He had slowly tested his capability and capped it at a certain number (which was increasing as the days passed), limiting it so he wouldn’t get bedridden and still retain so stats.

This was also assuming he absorbed things within the inn and ate a lot of essence food beforehand.

Second, he had to fight off monsters that ca his way. With the Inn now in level 2, the number of monsters attacking had risen by folds, and the average level had also increased.

Fortunately, he had Gideon and a lot of staff who could help him out; otherwise, it’d be very long battles for him every day.

Instead, they just assigned shifts, and he also allowed a few hours where the staff didn’t have to work. After all, the barrier wouldn’t be that easy to take down. Everyone inside could afford to rest, even if there was a mob outside.

Another task that’d occupy his ti was building a foundation. He had decided to train in the [Staff Training Room] at least an hour each day, to build up his physique and foundation. He also wanted to try the sword, double sword, and so on.

On top of that, he would never neglect his cooking. There were still so many ingredients to experint with and so many combinations to try! One had to rember most of his food was still D-class, with an occasional C-Class!

This ant that there were still a few ranks to go before he could even consider himself an expert in local cuisine!

He had to increase his chances of making C-Class food, especially C-class food that would be easy to carry around!

Class C did not just improve regeneration, but it could also increase other stats. Ideally, he could create ones that would be easy to carry while training outside. It was too good to miss out on!

However, in the end, he decided to purchase the alchemy skills.

The [Hearth Market] was aweso, but everything bought there was bound to him. This ant he could not sell them to others! This was to avoid the innkeeper from focusing on being a rchant early in the ga.

Now that he had built up his Inn and its surroundings, it was much more stable. Perhaps this was why they allowed workshops only after a level up.

Besides, there were intersections between the two practices. Perhaps, it’d be advantageous.

Even if it wasn’t, it was just...a thousand hearth points...wasted.

No big deal.

No. Big. Deal.

[Staff #0 received new Occupation: Alchemist]

[Passive Skill Activated: Basic Alchemy]

[Active Skill Activated: Extraction]

[Active Skill Activated: Processing]

[Active Skill Activated: Potion Brewing]

[Active Skill Activated: Effect Tester]

[Passive Skill Activated: Mild Poison Resistance]

[Existing Skill Upgraded: Ingredient Sense]

He assud that more skills would pop up as he improved his craft, like how his chef class did. He had to admit that he was a bit surprised by this.

Haurus was also particularly confused. "This..."

Finn smiled, patting his shoulder. "It seems like you have more talent in alchemy. Though I figured you also had so passion for blacksmithing, which was why I sent the skills to you."

"Boss..."

"Just do which one you prefer."

Anyway, he just considered these workshops as bonuses or sothing to use during ergencies, but not an actual market to bulk-buy in.

People who went here should have their own potions, and even if they needed so, they should not need them often. He certainly wasn’t planning on producing too much himself.

Haurus almost cried, touched. He never would’ve imagined gaining one professional inheritance, let alone two.

"I will do my best to be helpful to you, boss," he said, voice filled with determination. Finn chuckled, not pressuring him too much.

They then went inside the Alchemy Store, and it had a similar layout to the blacksmith workshop. The ground floor was the actual shop and storage, while the upper floor, accessible by stairs at the back, over the storage, was the workshop.

Like the others, he could only use the alchemy skills within the territory walls, so it’d be wise not to tell anyone what they could do; otherwise, they could be pressured to do the sa outside.

He told this to the staff, but it would be their discretion whether they would want to hide their own skills or reveal them.

He walked over to one of the work spaces there. They had three L-shaped desks there, with their own sets of cabinets and shelves, as well as other equipnt. There was glass, porcelain, tal pots, and so on.

The mont he stood behind one of the workspaces, another display appeared.

[Detected that the alchemist can create the following potions. Which one would you like to create?

Basic Healing Potion

Basic Mana Potion

Basic Energy Potion]

Interested, he went to check them out, wondering if he could create one as an experint.

[Option: Basic Healing Potion]

[Information: Can restore 20% Health of an Awakened or Charged individual.

Ingredients: 1 gram powdered bone of awakened monster, 2 pcs brightsweet pear seed, 3 basilu leaves, 1 gram dried veilroot shavings, 1 gram dried bark of sunberry shrub

Mana Requirent: 10 Mana]

The other two had similar levels, except one recovered mana and the other recovered stamina.

Fortunately, all the ingredients were sothing he had! And so, with the help of the staff, the ingredients were quickly gathered, and everyone (Ranran found them after staff room training) watched excitedly.

It was just that they were watching too closely.

Stare.

Stare.

Finn felt irked.

"Stop watching so closely!" he yelled, pointing at the side. "Stay there."

"Yes, boss!"

The group got the raw materials while Finn and Haurus went to try these things in their own tables. He did not succeed imdiately, but fortunately, he only wasted one set before succeeding.

[Successfully Created! Basic Health Potion!]

He grinned, and he also saw Haurus had the sa. Like this, they had two basic health potions! Aweso!
