Since the little rmaid was born, she could not see anything. She was ignorant of everything in the world. The only thing she knew was that her birth brought death to her mother. On the day she was born, her mother died in childbirth, and her father mourned for her for a long ti.
The little rmaid had lived in this small room since she was sensible. Her father did not allow her to leave this room, not even half a step, nor did he allow any other rpeople to contact her. Only the rmaid, whom she called Elder Sister Qing, would bring her food and take care of her every day.
For the world outside this small room, the little rmaid was full of curiosity. Although she could not see, her perception was much more acute than that of other rpeople. She could draw any picture in her mind with the help of this perception.
From her description, Shen Yanxiao was shocked to find that the perception of this little rmaid had gone beyond the scope of vision.
She could clearly describe all the trees and grasses in the rfolk’s hotown, the appearance of the palace, and the subtle places. The details were exactly the sa as what Shen Yanxiao saw; it was as though the little rmaid really saw those things with her eyes.
This was the first ti Shen Yanxiao had seen such a keen perception. Even the elental spirits with extrely strong senses could not reach such a level of sensitivity.
Looking at the beautiful, shiny fishtail of the little rmaid, Shen Yanxiao seed to understand why the multicolored rmaid had such a high position among the rfolk.

As to why the rfolk King kept the little rmaid here... Shen Yanxiao bit her lip. She feared it was related to the death of the little rmaid’s mother.
The multicolored rmaid ought to receive the support of the rpeople. Even if the little rmaid could not see, her perception was enough to make up for it; it was, after all, even beyond the realm of vision.
But the rfolk King had put her under house arrest in such a small room...
Shen Yanxiao didn’t want to think about what the real intention of the rfolk King was. The dead were gone; it was now aningless. For the little rmaid, her father and elder sister, the people she was most familiar with, were both dead already, and a force that scared her appeared in the palace, which almost made her faint in fear; after all, she was just a young rmaid.
"What’s your na?" Shen Yanxiao looked at the little rmaid and asked softly.
"Xi Yan..." The little rmaid whispered.
"Xi Yan?" Shen Yanxiao said with a smile.
Xi Yan pursed her lips.
"Xi Yan, the rpeople you are familiar with has left this world, but you have to be strong and continue to live. That terrible guy hasn’t left yet. Can you guarantee that you can hide yourself well during this period of ti?" Shen Yanxiao looked at Xi Yan with so worry. The disaster in the hotown of the rfolk had already destroyed too many rpeople. Shen Yanxiao did not want this lonely little fellow to suffer as well.
"Elder sister, will he kill you? Will you stay here with ? I... I can hide my aura, just stay with ; I can help you hide together with . I just... I was too afraid just now, that’s why... that’s why I wasn’t able to hide well for a mont. Elder sister, don’t go, ok? I’m... I’m scared." Xi Yan’s voice was full of trembling.
