Shen Yanxiao could only think that the rfolk were unlucky; they actually ca across this fiend, Satan.
Satan had been to the territory of other races, aside from the Hidden Dragon Continent; still, he had stayed low-key at those tis. So how co, when it ca to the hotown of the rfolk, this fellow behaved like he had a change of temper and brought out an attitude of wanting to destroy their whole race?
Unfortunately, Shen Yanxiao had too many things to think about right now. She really did not have the ability to rescue those poor rpeople. She could only pray secretly that the spirit of Neptune was still alive and could stop Satan’s evil pace.
Seeing that they had arrived at Neptune’s barrier, Satan looked down at Shen Yanxiao.
"Little one, do you think Neptune’s barrier can stop ?"
Shen Yanxiao wanted to roll her eyes at Satan. This fella was obviously digging a pit for her. If she said no, Satan would harass her even more. If she said yes, she feared that those rfolk within the barrier would hate her to death.
"What is a barrier?" Shen Yanxiao was helpless and could only play dumb.
"..." Satan was montarily stunned, then he let out a low laug.
"You don’t know? Then I will show you how beautiful the barrier of the so-called superior god is the mont it shatters." After saying so, Satan embraced Shen Yanxiao with one hand and reached the other one toward the trembling barrier of the Sea God.
A mass of black mist spread from Satan’s palm and gradually spread to the whole Neptune’s barrier. When the blue light was replaced by that sar of darkness, Bo Er, who was inside the barrier, was filled with despair.
When the darkness covered the entirety of Neptune’s barrier, Satan’s hand suddenly clenched.
The sound of disintegration spread throughout the sea, and the black mist faded. The barrier fragnts that had condensed with the power of Neptune were like broken glass, glistening in the sea water and slowly falling.
Bo Er’s face was blanched and bloodless.
Even the last power left by Neptune could not stop Satan’s footsteps. The rfolk... Was it really over for them?
"Is it nice?" Satan did not appreciate Bo Er’s expression of despair. He just looked at Shen Yanxiao and wanted to find a trace of abnormality in her face.
Shen Yanxiao looked at Satan without saying a word and still did not respond.
Satan seed to have gotten used to Shen Yanxiao’s detachnt and didn’t say much more. Holding Shen Yanxiao with one hand, he walked into the palace step by step. The pressure he gave off had already left Bo Er in front of the palace immobile.
"Since the owner is already dead, shouldn’t this trident also be by his side?" Satan’s footsteps stopped in front of Neptune’s trident. He stared at the beautiful weapon, and what reflected on its face was Bo Er’s expression of despair and anger.
That expression left people stifled.
As soon as Satan grasped Neptune’s trident and pulled it out, the black mist in his palm surged again and gradually spread towards Neptune’s trident.
"Wait." Shen Yanxiao suddenly opened her mouth at this ti.
Satan looked at Shen Yanxiao and did not let the devil energy continue to devour the trident.
"You’ve killed so many gods before, have you never left yourself any spoils of war?" Shen Yanxiao looked at Satan and said.
"Spoils of war?" Satan frowned slightly.
"In the battle between god and devils, only you know who you have defeated; no one else knows. But if you leave behind the symbolic things of your defeated opponents as trophies, it will be a declaration of your victory." Shen Yanxiao spoke very seriously. She would never say that she felt Bo Er’s eyes were too sad and so she had cut in suddenly.
