The Puko’s Alchemist Guild had a large rest area in the capital city. Shen Yanxiao silently followed Gege Lu to their accommodation.
As soon as they ca in, they caught sight of a dense number of dwarves chattering together.
"Ao, ao, ao! Look at my latest chanical puppet, super great, isn’t it?!" A dwarf pointed to the giant chanical puppet behind him and said very proudly.
"It’s just a chanical puppet and you still have the nerve to bring it here. Be careful that the president will strangle you. Look at mine, a three-star humanoid machine. This is what great is!" Another dwarf flaunted his work.
"I say, you guys had better not take out any lower level stuff here. Here’s a four-star, co and worship !"
Almost every alchemist was surrounded by a chanical creature, whether it was a chanical puppet or humanoid machines of different sizes. These alchemists chose the size of the chanical creatures according to their own preferences. What was more, they would also draw beautiful patterns on the chanical creatures, or paint beautiful colors on them.
For alchemists, these chanical creatures were the sa as their children. They could be in no mood to dress up themselves, but they would definitely dress up their works.
Here, you could often see the picture of a ragged alchemist followed by a golden chanical puppet. When both sides intersected, it was really a great surprise.
"You guys are here early." Gege Lu smiled.
"President!" The originally bustling dwarves cald down as soon as they saw Gege Lu, and they greeted Gege Lu together.
"President, who is this?" A dwarf noticed the figure of Shen Yanxiao.
Since Shen Yanxiao entered the Alchemist Guild, she was wrapped up with a cloak all day long. Apart from her pair of eyes, one could not see her appearance at all. Her attire could truly be considered quite strange among the dwarves.
"This is Momo Xiao, a new mber of our guild. Don’t bully people or I’ll beat you to death." Gege Lu pretended to be serious and waved his fist, but in fact it was mostly just a joke.
"President, you see us like that?!"
"President, you are so suspicious."
A group of dwarves opened their mouths with a laugh.
"President, there is an auction at High Clouds Auction House today. Would you like to take a look?" A dwarf suddenly said.
"There’s a High Clouds Auction today?" There was an instant look of anticipation on Gege Lu’s face.
Shen Yanxiao was a little confused. Seeing this, Pipi Ka standing next to her whispered, "High Clouds Auction House is the only auction house in Storm Continent. Only first-class things will be sold there. Generally, humanoid machines with less than four stars are not eligible to enter the auction...."
Pipi Ka explained patiently to Shen Yanxiao. Originally, the dwarves were used to buying things in the bazaar, but so precious things were difficult to sell there because the price was too high. Therefore, the Dwarf King opened an auction house in the capital city, specializing in selling expensive luxuries. The High Clouds Auction House was only opened three tis a year for three days, and so of the precious items that had been entrusted with them for a period of ti would be put up for sale. Every ti an auction was held, a lot of wealthy dwarves would co to attend. At the High Clouds Auction House, you could see the precious things that you would not normally see in the bazaars. If you wanted to expand your horizons, going there was quite the correct decision.
