In Deathfire Academy, the dean, with a slight smile in the bottom of his eyes, looked at Shen Yanxiao standing opposite him.
"Very well, you’re back on ti." Early this morning, Shen Yanxiao had returned safely with all the mbers of the Flaming Red Squad. The dean once checked the returning undead teenagers. Although there was no big difference in their aura, he had vaguely found that the death energy of those teenagers had beco denser.
It appeared that their training was not in vain.
"I would naturally do what I promised." Shen Yanxiao smilingly replied.
"Later, Kehr will tell you more about the selection competition. Seven days later, he will take you to the city where the competition will be held. I hope you can earn honor for the Deathfire Academy in this competition." The dean said, looking rather expectant.
"Understood. If it’s all right, I’ll take my leave first." Shen Yanxiao said.
"Good. I heard you picked up a purebred undead child on the way?" The dean noticed that Yan Di had an extra mber in her team. He then heard from Kehr that it was a kid Shen Yanxiao had t in the Forest of Death, and it seed that he had been separated from his parents.
"Yes." The identity that Shen Yanxiao gave Taotie was a kid who was lost in the Forest of Death whom they happened to et and then brought back afterwards.
"Do you need my help?" The dean asked.
Shen Yanxiao shook her head.
"He has a good relationship with the mbers of the Flaming Red Squad. The mbers of the Flaming Red Squad want to find his parents for him personally after the selection competition." Taotie was her Holy Beast. Where on earth in the Howling Abyss could they find his parents? This search must not happen as it might expose their lie.
"Alright." The dean no longer forced her.
Shen Yanxiao left the dean’s room. The undead teenagers who had just returned to Deathfire Academy, by this ti, had already returned to their dormitories to rest, while the foodie Taotie was carried by Shen Yanxiao to her room.
Lying on the bed, Taotie looked abnormally excited.
"What’s wrong?" Shen Yanxiao asked with a smile as she watched the little fellow rolling about on the bed.
"I have a feeling." Suddenly, Taotie looked at Shen Yanxiao seriously.
"What feeling?"
"That I’ll see Vermillion Bird soon!" Taotie’s small face was blooming with a smile. He and Vermillion Bird were Shen Yanxiao’s contractual beasts. For Shen Yanxiao’s sake, he and Vermillion Bird had also established a spiritual link. After she beca an undead, Vermillion Bird could not stay in Shen Yanxiao’s body because of his nature. Taotie had not felt the spirit of Vermillion Bird for a long ti, but today, sohow, he could feel that familiar feeling was back.

On the east coast of the Howling Abyss, a huge sphere of light slowly fell from the mist until it was near the ground. The undead along the coast seed to be unaware of the approaching sphere of light as they still wandered apathetically along the strand.

"If the boundary of the gods could be seen by the undead, then it’d just be a worthless thing." The Dragon God, shining with a variety of colors all over, said this in a deep and low voice.
