The carriage finally reached Lava Valley. An average carriage would easily be burned down upon entering the Lava Valley, so they simply continued on foot.
For a long ti, Shen Yanxiao had not returned to Lava Valley. However, she could still rember her feelings when she first entered this place..
At that ti, it had never crossed her mind that she would be linked with the guardian beast of her Vermillion Bird Clan.

Arriving at the Lava Cave, Shen Yanxiao took a deep breath and then proceeded inside while carrying Vermillion Bird in her arms.
Inside the cave, it was as dark as it always used to be, with only the little brilliance of the firestone illuminating the room. Shen Yanxiao carried Vermilion Bird to the center of the cave and handed the rest to Xiu.
He stood beside Vermillion Bird, looking at the furball lying on the ground, deep asleep. Xiu then slowly lifted his hand and from his finger escaped a faint white light which slowly wrapped around Vermillion Bird.
