“Fuck!” Alec cursed, as he staggered backward after being struck in the face by the hilt of Dorian’s long sword.
Dorian had wasted no ti when he was in such close distance, he capitalised on his chance by raising his sword high with both hands and jabbing it toward Alec’s face.
Though the attack caught him off guard, but Alec quickly regained his composure, by tilting his body to the side when he felt his danger senses tingling.
A split second later, the long sword struck the ground where he had just stood, sending a blinding flash of sword light that cleaved the earth.
In response, Alec sent a powerful right fist toward Dorian’s jaw, Dorian, anticipating the move, released his grip on the sword, which embedded itself into the ground.

The mont the sword touched the earth, the gravitational pressure surged once more, but this ti it didn’t affect Alec much as he had prepared for it and had manipulated his Mana to cover his body while utilizing his gravity control to negate any gravity spell around his body.
This move caused Dorian to raise an eyebrow in surprise, but he swiftly moved his right hand to intercept Alec’s punch, executing a palm technique to clamp down on Alec’s blow.
“Is that all you’ve got?” Dorian taunted, leaning closer to Alec in an attempt to provoke him, the air around him thick with death Qi.
