Chapter 249: Rivalry between Groups
Liu Feng was grinning. He rubbed his hands together.
“Your Majesty. The rchants will be out of their minds if they understand that it was you and not so other normal boy. Doing this will an that any disrespect that they commit will have to be punished.” an elderly voice was saying.
“Just complete the makeup. I need to be unrecognizable at the end of this.” Liu Feng said.
“Yes, Your Majesty.” an old woman said with a great deal of hesitation.
Liu Feng was in a well lit room. He was seated in front of a mirror, and behind him, an old woman was standing there with a few brushes in her hand. There were hair and costus everywhere, and it looked like a scene from a news station, where the costu wardrobe was throwing a party.
Liu Feng himself looked different. In different, he looked unrecognizable. Truly, even if his mother ca here, she wouldn’t be able to recognize him imdiately and even given so ti, it would be difficult.

Liu Feng sneaked around as he walked to one of the rooms. This was the room where the eting was taking place.
A guard imdiately stopped him.
“Hey, boy! Who are you? This is an important place. His Majesty himself will be coming here. Do you not know where you need to be?” the guard asked coldly.
“The king himself asked to co here. I am Sherlock Hols. I was supposed to co here. I am the attendant, and I will be providing His Majesty with all the services that he needs. But first, I need to make sure that the room itself is up to His Majesty’s requirents.” Liu Feng said without batting an eye.
“Requirents? What requirents? I was not told of any of this.” the guard asked with shock and with a hint of fear. No one wanted to ss up when a new king, especially one who was just a teenager, was in the helm. They did not know how volatile the king was, and how he would punish them. All they knew was that two students already died at the hands of this boy.
“I will take care of them. But first, you need to let in.” Liu Feng said calmly.
“Fine. But if you do anything, then the first thing that I will do is kill you.” the guard said after thinking for a while.
Liu Feng nodded at him and entered the room. It was a very spacious room indeed. The first thing that Liu Feng saw was a huge table and many people sitting at either sides. It was clear that each side of the table was populated by one particular group.
The Silver Moon group on one side, and the Rock Tyrant Group on the other. The Rock Tyrant group was bearing black robes, while the forr were wearing silver ones. All of them were talking with each other, when they spotted Liu Feng walking in.
They imdiately stood up, and were about to bow, when soone called out.
“You are not His Majesty! Who are you? Who let you in?”
All the rchants who were about to bow looked at each other with a hint of sha. They could not believe that they were about to bow to a commoner.
“I am Sherlock Hols, Sirs. I am the assistant boy of His Majesty. Please continue what you need to do. I am here to make sure that His Majesty will be having a proper and comfortable ti in this room.” Liu Feng said.
Liu Feng studied both of the groups carefully as he approached the head of the table.
The Silver Moon delegation was headed by an old man. He looked wise, and his flowing beard only helped to cent that thought. As for the Black Tyrant group, it was clear that the head was a middle aged man. He sat opposite to the old man from the Silver Moon group, and he looked quite dashing.
“It looks like the leadership of the groups are strong. It will be difficult to break a duopoly. I will think about breaking the construction segnt later.” Liu Feng thought to himself.
He then went to the seat at the head of the table and quickly inspected it. After a few minutes of show, he looked at the rchants. All of them were staring back at him.
“I am sorry. Have I offended you in any way, Sirs?” Liu Feng asked innocently.
“We are in the middle of a very important conversation. You are unrelated to this. Co back later. I am sure that His Majesty will understand. A random busboy has no reason to know any sensitive information.” a man from the Rock Tyrant group stood up and said with anger.
Liu Feng looked at this with amusent.
At this mont, the old man from the Silver Moon group stood up.
“There are so people who have no idea who they are talking to. Isn’t that right, Your Majesty? He is a naive young boy. I hope you take no offense. He is not experienced enough to understand the test in front of him.” the old man said with a smile.
