Li Heng curiously asked, "Second Young Master, what do you plan to do?"

Li Chengyang thought for a mont, then smiled coldly, "Notify all the influential young lords and ladies of Yanjing. Let’s all et this top young master of Tianhai tonight. I can’t swallow this insult unless we suppress Yang Yu’s arrogance!"

At three in the afternoon, Xia Yu finally woke up, "Are we almost there?"

"Yes," Yang Yu smiled slightly, "We’re almost there."

Xia Yu sighed deeply, "Yang Yu, do you know why Grandma asked to co back this ti?"

"I can guess a bit." Yang Yu nodded, "It must be related to my identity as the president."

"Yes," Xia Yu said with a helpless expression, "When I left the Xia Family, Grandma and a few uncles agreed that besides being Grandma’s granddaughter, my everything else would be unrelated to the Xia Family. Those uncles are not ones to stir without benefit. Now that they suddenly want back, it’s clear to see why."

"As long as it doesn’t harm the interests of other mbers, giving so benefits to the Xia Family isn’t a big issue," Yang Yu said with a smile. "Of course, if you ask to, no matter how big the benefit, I will concede it."

Xia Yu gave Yang Yu a aningful look, "Shen Silin told you to sleep with , to make lean towards you, not towards the Xia Family."

Yang Yu: "..."

"Xia Yu, there’s sothing I’ve been wanting to ask for a long ti but kept forgetting," Yang Yu said, "Can you tell , did your parents ever offend anyone?"

Xia Yu puzzled, "Why do you ask that?"

"Rember I told you, the curse that marred your face with Yin and Yang was brought from the womb," Yang Yu said, "Now that you’ve restored your appearance, I think that woman might still try to harm you."

"A woman?" Xia Yu grew even more puzzled, "Why are you so sure it’s a woman?"

"Only won would care so much about appearances," Yang Yu replied. "n normally exact revenge through more violent ans, while won prefer to damage one’s appearance and tarnish their body."

Xia Yu had never thought of this before, but upon Yang Yu ntioning it again, she thought deeply and finally shook her head, "My parents went on an overseas trip and both disappeared together, leaving no trace until now..."

"Xia Yu, they are already dead. Face the reality," Yang Yu didn’t want Xia Yu to harbor any illusions. "It’s clear from your features; they have been dead for a long ti."

Xia Yu fell silent for quite a while, then finally looked up at Yang Yu earnestly, "Can you find their bodies? That’s the least I can do for them as their daughter."

"It’s possible," Yang Yu casually agreed, "I’ll need your blood and sothing that belonged to them while they were alive, a photograph would be best."

"I have those," Xia Yu said, "Yang Yu, I’ll leave it to you."

Yang Yu nodded, "Okay."

The plane landed at Yanjing Airport, and the two of them walked out together.

Along the way, many people stared intently at Xia Yu until she got into the car, and only then did they reluctantly shift their gaze, "That man is so enviable!"

"Miss Xia, welco back," the person driving them was a man in his fifties, "Mr. Yang, welco to Yanjing. I am the Xia family’s butler, Xia Dong."

"Housekeeper Xia, nice to et you," Yang Yu greeted Xia Dong and then turned his gaze out the window.

This was his first visit to Yanjing, so naturally, he took a good look around.

After looking around for quite a while, Yang Yu couldn’t help but remark, "Yanjing really is a land of Feng Shui!"

Xia Dong smiled, "That’s for sure, otherwise there wouldn’t have been so many ancient capitals here. Mr. Yang, how long do you plan to stay in Yanjing this ti?"

"I have a lot to deal with in Tianhai, and once things are settled with Mrs. Xia Sr., I’ll have to go back," Yang Yu said, "I’ll co back another ti when I’m free, to have a good look around."

"Ah, I was hoping to show Mr. Yang around Yanjing for a few more days!" Xia Dong expressed his lant, "When Mrs. Xia first arrived in Yanjing, it was I who guided Mr. Xia and Mrs. Xia around the capital."

"Is that so," Yang Yu casually asked, "So Mrs. Xia isn’t a local then!"

"Huh? Miss Xia didn’t tell you?" Xia Dong appeared very surprised, "Mrs. Xia’s family is from the northeast, and she is very bold and generous. When she ca to Yanjing, she brought her best friend with her. And let tell you, her best friend was quite beautiful, I initially thought Mr. Xia was interested in her best friend!"

"Your mom had a very good best friend?" Yang Yu asked casually, "Why haven’t you ever ntioned her?"

"I don’t know either," Xia Yu sighed, "From the ti I was aware, due to my face, I was always hidden away, only seeing my parents and grandma. That’s why I always buried myself in books and read everything."

"Mr. Yang, you seem quite interested in Mrs. Xia’s affairs," Xia Dong said with a smile, "If you want to know more, feel free to co to anyti. I know a lot about Mr. Xia and Mrs. Xia’s matters."

"Thanks, I might drop by tonight," Yang Yu said teasingly, "But right now, what I really want to know is, what do the other mbers of the Xia Family think of ?"

Xia Dong: "..."

Actually, Yang Yu didn’t need to ask; the mont he set foot into the Xia Family, he knew what their attitude towards him was.

Despite the Xia Family being a prominent clan, there was only an elderly lady with white hair sitting in a chair in the massive living room.

When Yang Yu and Xia Yu entered, she slowly stood up, smiling, "Xiao Yu, you’re back!"

"Yes, Grandma," Xia Yu quickly supported her grandma, "Grandma, this is Yang Yu."

Mrs. Xia Sr. looked Yang Yu up and down and smiled slightly, "This lad isn’t bad, just a bit worse than your grandfather when he was young."

"Hello, Grandma," Yang Yu greeted politely, "It’s an honor to be compared with Grandfather."

"Haha, you sure have a way with words, no wonder you have chard one after another," Mrs. Xia Sr. laughed, "Co, sit down and keep an old lady company, chat for a while, and have so tea. We can eat once the others return."

The two sat down and chatted with the old lady.

She first talked with Xia Yu for a few monts, then began quizzing Yang Yu about everything under the sun.

"So, you already have a fiancée, is that right?" Mrs. Xia Sr. asked Yang Yu at one point.

Yang Yu nodded, "Yes, Grandma."

"If, and I an if," Mrs. Xia Sr. asked, "I were to give you the entire Xia Family as a dowry, would you be willing to give up your fiancée to marry Xiao Yu?"

"I would not," Yang Yu shook his head, "There are no ifs in this matter."
